stop calling yourself ugly. You are so beautiful inside and out. You really need to realise that. Look at how far you have come. And look at how far you will go. You need to start saying kind words to yourself. Immy because you are amazing
This was great! It comes down to REALLY wanting it and being consistent with intake...even if your not hungry! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to following your progress!! Keep it up!
i've been trying to gain weight for over 2 years and your videos are one of the only ones that have resonated with me and encouraged me. being brutally honest about JUST NEEDING TO EAT MORE whether its not at a planned 'meal' time/ you've already eaten/ its more than others/ you have a big meal later is so important. compensation kills gains and life isnt an equation
I'm so happy for you. I struggle with body dysmorphia as well. You're on the right track and you WILL have all of the things you want for yourself in sport, health, body image, and life if you continue to work towards your goals and push through the fear 💪🏼
I found when I was in a bad place I use to avoid carbs and fats and have more “protein” through powders to make myself feel like I was doing something to recover. I thought higher protein gave you energy and was something to prioritise, but whole carbs and fats like avocado are necessary and really helped with healthy weight gain AND strength. More Carbs would definitely help with weight gain and plus more energy and endurance :))
Also hope this helps but with weight gain for health you will look back and realise how everyone was not lying about looking “unhealthy” or too thin. Body dysmorphia SUCKS, like Whenever I look back at old photos of myself after only a few gains it’s like a fog has lifted and gaining weight or muscle makes sense, it’s crazy
Hey Imi :) I’m so glad to see you have realized that it is as simple as eating more 🙏 I was going through a very similar struggle a few months ago & can confidently say LIFE IS SO MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL when you pick up weight & are actually healthy 🙌 I promise you the body dysmorphia will get better & you will learn to love your healthy body 💗💗 Keep it up girl! 💪
one thing i noticed throughout your video is the amount of times you called yourself ugly. like a lot of times. Definitely try and catch yourself when you say negative things about yourself and start saying the things you love about yourself. x
IMI OMG WHEN YOU WERE FLEXING TO SHOW YOUR MUSCLE GAIN I CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE HOLY SHIT!!!! your quads and biceps were seriously POPPINGGGGG I'm so proud and happy for you!!! I'm on a bit of similar journey as you and it is so inspiring to see your progress :)))) Even though we don't know each other in real life, I like to think that were are in this together and seeing you look so happy is just EEEEEK AMAZING (like I can literally see the happiness in your eyes and hear it in your voice) SO READY TO CRUSH THIS NEXT SEASON AND FUELLLLL
I am so proud of how far you have come Imi, and I absolutely love following along with your journey. As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia for several years now, I resonate with your journey in many aspects. Thank you for not only being raw and real about your struggles, but also celebrating your recovery wins because you are doing so well. Sending so much love, and please know that you have got this! Keep going beautiful soul xx
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your long ass videos!! I also love your progress, it makes me literally soooo happy.. I've been following you for a really long time and seeing finally your mental shift is so amazing! :)
for me, what was working soo so sooo much was adding nut/seed butter to literally everything. and not put it ON TOP of oatmeal but in the mixture (and on top) so I could kind of trick my brain.😊 and i would always use a creamy seed/nut sauce + avocado for my dinner. plus i ate lots of seedy bread w/ nut butter or avocado which is high in calories naturally☺️ obv i felt “guilty” at the beginning but now (weight restored) it’s just whatever it tastes fucking amazing😍😊 ly and stay strong you can do it!!💪🏼
I'm so proud of you Imi!!! Your happiness is radiating through the screen! You have a light in your eyes and so much life and joy emanating from you now and it's just so beautiful to see! I completely relate to the mood shift you're talking about. When I finally got past the really uncomfortable part of recovery, I suddenly felt like a child again. I was in the BEST mood everyday and every tiny little thing made me so happy. I was high on life 😂 I realised what I'd been missing out on all that time that I was in such a dark place. It just makes me so unbelievably happy to see you experiencing that as well. Keep going because there are more and more benefits to come. You've got this Imi!! 💪💛
yes i read the no period now what book! i too didn’t agree with absolutely no exercise. i just took the overall advice by increasing calories and decreasing exercise. i still continued to exercise and i ended up getting my period back, so know it is def possible to get ur period back while still exercise but ofc you have to eat more to make up for the calories burned from exercise!
I think it just depends on your relationship with exercise, because many people with ed’s (like myself) struggle with severe exercise addiction. So in that case I think it’s important to take time off and retrain your brain to not be dependent on it! But def just depends on the person :)
Hey lovely :) the smile when you gained 0.5kg was infectious :) just wanted to say that it’s important not to focus on reaching the minimum previous healthy weight as you were younger so you might need more as that is still a super light weight for your height - totally great to aim for as a start but just in case the ED is fixating on not being more than that it might be good to try and shift that because you’re an adult now not a teenager 💙 I’m really pleased for you that you’ve felt motivated and positive and healthier tho 🥰
I just finished watching the video and it’s the best video you’ve ever done! I have been following you since the very beginning and your energy and positivity is contagious! :) HANG IN THERE keep going!!!! X
altho i’ve been eating when i’m not hungry, i still have no hunger cues. it is so frustrating...it feels like they are never going to come back :( i have no appetite at all
I love all your videos & im so happy you are doing so well & pushing yourself even further! I struggle with body dysmorphia too and have anxiety, so i know how hard it is. I am very athetic as well and i am vegan. I struggle to eat more then 1200 calories a day as i also have a lot of food allergies, and a lot of the foods i can eat are lower in calories and i find it mentally hard to eat things like pasta/rice/bread. I am going to try adding in things like vegan protein shakes, nuts and more snacks, thanks for the inspiration xx
Hey I thought I’d ask what you would think about removing some of your older older content with restrictive habits, some videos have popped up in my recommended from 3 years ago and I didn’t realise a few times and the content was slightly triggering. Of course this is your journey and your channel, but might be good to look over some videos that people who don’t usually watch your regular content might come across xx
If you continue at this pace you will get a period at 30, I also thought it would not be healthy for me to eat much but I relied on my datan I even kept doing runs but I ate and more ate and more I was not tasty but I finally got a period, I am much healthier Than I was once and the funniest part is that I eat full to keep the weight off I eat more than I supposedly should but do not gain weight at all, still sometimes hard but I keep eating,. consistently, and true it was very hard to gain 8 pounds in three months while running but I did the This and I'm proud everyone around me is just trying to lose weight while I know I fought for every fat crumb I have. Somtime we are the greatest enemy of ourselves, Eat well, put in energy, that the body will have the power to bring life,Then your life will be more beautiful too, you can do it, put as much fat as possible in a high-calorie food Almond nuts Avocado Salmon Eat everything and a lot until you really can not and then two hours later eat again until you have no place if it really matters to you then you Just have to fight for weight and not give up until your period comes and only then a sign that you are eating enough. Good luck and I'm sure you can do it because you're a champion as you're a great athlete with the same determination you'll succeed
I think you're just too focused on getting a period that that's your motivation for wanting to be healthy. When people are talking about you over exercising and working too much it's for your overall health, not just to get a period. The reason why things got to this point in the first place is because of over exercising and working too much
stop calling yourself ugly. You are so beautiful inside and out. You really need to realise that.

Hi, I like you, you are so cute, I'm from brazil.
