i love how so confident Paulie was about his purgatory theory 😂😂 "all i gotta do is 6000 years until i go to heaven"
and thats nothing in eternity terms.
Could be much, much worse.
The paulie psychic scene is one of the best in season 2 😂😂 also seeing Asia get emotional during this show makes me happy cuz that’s the impact it had on me
Paulie's a sensitive guy
Satanic black magic. SICK SHIT!
@@ShawnKavanaghPaulie is a sociopath 😅
The end scene with the boat seems to me to show that Tony doesn't care what happens to the little people in his wake literally with the rowboat and figuratively like Davey and his store.
He is who he is
Asia cracked me up
Vic “I want a home cooked meal”
Asia-“u better go home then”
One of Asia's best reaction lines yet!
When the witness was talking to the detectives, they lied to him that the victim is just some kid that got in with a bad crowd. But when he heard that news flash that its related to Sopranos, thats when he immediately called the cops and "changed his mind" that he didnt see anything. If he knew it from the start, he would have never agreed to be a witness in the first place.
Did they lie to him? He was a kid that got in with a bad crowd, that's for sure. It does confuse me as to why he said that, though. I fig the reason was edited out, (I've never seen this show - I know, I know ☹I couldn't afford HBO back then)
@@snakeinthegrass7443 I consider withholding information is the same as lying. And to me it looked like they did it intentionally. Anything to get to Tony.
Yeah no way those Detectives were gonna tell the eyewitness that the guy he just ID’d in those 10+ year old mugshots was Tony Soprano who’s the current street boss of the Soprano family..that guy would never pick up the phone again..but as for the criminal case even though that guy wouldn’t actually take the stand in a million years Tony and his attorney don’t know that for sure so it still gives law enforcement and the Prosecution a lot of leverage even in just a plea bargain..so whoever that columnist was from that newspaper did Tony a big favor by following up on the case and writing another article about the latest news about it..
Fun fact: Michael imperioli (who plays Christopher) wrote this episode, and says he based the “3 o’clock” thing on an encounter he had with a ghost!
That bit always seemed out of place to me, because the show is otherwise so non-supernatural and materialistic, very down to earth and realistic. Maybe that's me projecting but David Chase seems like a very rationalist, non-supernatural guy...the ending of the show being the best example of the way he thinks about life after death, so the genuinely weird, inexplicable Paulie encounter seemed abit out of place..
@@thesprawl2361The show is deeply intertwined with spirituality and Catholic faith, which is the reason why the belief in Heaven/Hell, God/Devil was mentioned. As far as Paulie goes, he's a superstitious hypochondriac so seeing a median isn't too far fetched.
@@malikburchettYes. This is true and makes sense considering that many mobsters are deep into Catholicism at the same time that they are cold blooded killers and crooks. David Chase often explores this dichotomy in some episodes.
3 ' o Clock on Friday , is the Time when Jesus died. So they say.
I saw him on celebrity ghost stories
The civilian witness' wife has such a small role, but she plays the hell out of it.
They both do. Seemed like he was reacting off of what she did, and it definitely seemed quite a bit improv
For me, the last scene of that episode perfectly sums up The Sopranos. Tony is having a heartwarming moment with his son AJ, but then he gets joy in knocking over two men (who are probably hard-working and honest) on a much smaller boat with his luxurious yacht that he obtained through lying, scamming, stealing and hurting people. His happiness is always at the expense of others.
He's a man you would go to battle with, but he's also a vicious predator
Asia had a true reaction to Mrs. Soprano's plea to God for mercy. Which proves how well this show is written and acted, and how genuine Asia's reactions can be.
The psychic medium scene always kills me. Paulie throwing a chair at a bunch of ghosts and calling them queers has me dying with laughter.
How do y’all keep your composure with Paulie scenes? Every time he’s on screen he has me dying laughing.
Those silver wings
@@ShawnKavanaghOOOHHHHH 😂
My favourite thing about The Sopranos is the lowkey, unexplained supernatural element. It's not a supernatural show, it's 99.9% based in reality, but every now and then there'll be a scene like the psychic one that is completely unexplainable except for being something genuinely supernatural, and then it's just sorta never touched on.
The end on the boat was cool. We visually and figuratively see how Tony (and maybe AJ some day) is completely oblivious to the damage he does to the people around him. He just ploughs through life not caring or seeing who he hurts. Which was sort of a motiff the whole episode.
I’ve been wanting to do a sopranos re watch but kinda was overwhelmed by the idea. This is has been a nice way of doing it, I never thought it made for great reaction videos but I’ve loved every second of you all doing it.
I revisit this treasure at certain points
Resonates throughout time
Although the genre can be oversaturated, these two have excellent reactions
Fun Fact: When the Sopranos was being filmed Edie Falco didn't know how to cook at all.
yea the eyewitness called in to withdrew his statement
Mafia hits tend to be major overkills--to make sure they're dead. One Mafia leader was killed in a restaurant about 40 years ago and was shot in the head 10 times.
Sometimes, it's about sending a message
The last scene is a metaphor for the disasters that the Sopranos leave in their wake!
Never thought of that...theres so many things like that in this show, its impossible to catch them all.
Journey - Wheel In The Sky? a little bit of foreshadowing there 😂
We certainly didn't need to get to the last few episodes of season 2 to realize this but the casting in this series, specifically the smaller parts, is simply elite. These 2 episodes are a perfect example of how even the characters with smaller parts, few lines, maybe just one scene, are so well written and acted and believable. Not a false note to be had by any of those supporting actors and actresses.
That was really big of Tony having her tested for AIDS
😅.
Seen a few channels react to Sopranos, but this one is hands down my favorite. Thanks for the great content Asia and BJ!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Our pleasure!
Keep being you. Oddly this is the only "reaction" RUclips channel I have actually subscribed to as it's kind of an embarrassing guilty pleasure but there's something fun about seeing people enjoy things you enjoy and you guys seemed like kind of people who have great attitudes and it's a lot of fun watching you react to what are a lot of my favorite movies as well. You have excellent taste in entertainment.
I do have one question though. Some of these movies it seems you surely would have seen by this point in your life. Especially things like back to the Future for example. How have you gone so many years without seeing some of these undeniable classics that most people saw back in the 90s or at least in their youth for the younger folks. It's great that you're finally getting around to checking out some of these awesome movies but I truly wonder how you have not seen some of these already as they are such staples of pop culture. My only guess on this is perhaps a strict religious upbringing or perhaps your parents didn't really believe in TV or something? You really have never seen some of these?
Love the channel, you guys brighten my day..... Keep up the good work.
The witness realized who he would be testifying against so the witness refused to testify. Said they refuse or they don’t remember or whatever it takes to get out of it. 🇨🇦🖖🏻
Couldn't help but notice Asia cracked a big ol smile everytime they showed the painters face.. heehee
LMAO Paulie throwing the chair at the ghosts
You guys are quickly becoming my favorite reaction channel. Especially looking forward to your reactions for the coming episodes/seasons as I´ve seen the show 3 times now and theres some real shock moments. Sopranos is such a great show.
Can't wait for them to react to the amazing twist in Ep 12!
The actor who plays Chris, Michael Imperioli, wrote episode 9, along with other great ones.
Carmella's prayer was flawless 🙏 ✨️ 😇
😂 😂😂 omfg the Carmella scenes BJ straight up tried to look threw the ceiling 🙄
"I just miss having a home cooked meal"
"... Well he need to go home" (Asia) 😂😂😂😂😂😂
AWWWWWW YEEEAAAAHHHH! More Sopranos with the crew!!!!
Paulie Vs the ghosts ....again, sopranos one of the funniest shows ever 😂😂
That Otis Redding song playing throughout that episode 👌
Notice the red cooler that Carmella gave Vic? That is from the ones ordered through the store.
yessss, So glad that this was uploaded ! Keep em coming !!
Also, at 1 minute 10 seconds into the video…Bless You, Asia 🤧
Here's whats crazy.. I glanced up at my wall.. and it's exactly 3 o'clock.. now I'm trippen lol
28:34
He's ALSO the T-1000 from the Terminator movies
Awesome 👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
The witness was reading "Anarchy, State, Utopia." That's the kind of humor this show is best at.
Wait to you see the last 2 episodes of this season!! Omg I hope you both watch it soon
Every time I sin I can't help but think I wish Paulie were here to give me a pep talk.
“Soldiers don’t go to hell” one of my favorite Tony monologues ever
A true captain
The "ghosts" chased Paulie all the way to a guest appearance on the CBS TV crime drama "The Medium" where the psychic detective Allison attempted to assist Paulie in calming his "fears!" 😆
Its public holiday here in Australia. I got to turn off my alarm have a sleep in, and wake up to a new Soprano reaction :)
Carmela was in the kitchen with the Shania Twain bumpin ready for her sneaky link to pull up😂
Asia and BJ get a kick out of Paulie Walnuts. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Y'All Came Outta Left Field W/ This 1!!!!! Salutes To You Asia & BJ!!!!
Great reaction but I think you guys misunderstood the Christopher shooting and Richie's position in it all, he didn't lie to Tony and his crew about what he knew , he told them that Mathew came to him and admitted to having shot Chris, he had his connects on the streets looking for him.
Watching the two of you reacting to the Sopranos and discussing the episodes makes my day! I can't wait till you drop another video!
Sounds like BJ calls him “Pushy” 😳
I think he does that to not get demonetized lol
Bussy
@@BayAreaMike99the best kind
On the fridge ! On the fridge ! ….. best line ever !
I am looking forward to you guys watching the rest of the season. The Season 2 finale is my favorite episode in the entire series. Most people prefer a certain episode in Season 3 [no spoilers] ...but the Season 2 finale has some of the best writing in the entire series.
You guys are some of my fav reactors. Thanks for keeping it coming.
"I had her tested for AIDS, what do you think I am?!"
Tony... thr thing to say was yes ma'am
I think what makes season 2 great is the tension. Really great writing
Tony didn't tell richie the truth because he still thinks richie might be behind it.. or is loyal to Jr. Since richie is a made guy and Chris is not.. if richie did decide to pop Chris. There's not much Tony could do about it. Killing a soldier who isn't made is not a big enough offense to kill a made man. It's actually very tough to get the OK from the commission.. all the heads of the families.. to hit a made guy. Even a boss supposedly can't do it. Made guys are suposed to be untouchable and it's taken seriously. Pretty much the only way you can sanction a hit on a made guy is if HE killed another made guy without permission. But you still have to get an OK from the heads of ALL the families. That's how they insure made guys have special rank of being untouchable.. without that rule, crews would be wiping eachother out all the time. Hence.. thats why it's so great to be made
Asia & BJ You had me rolling on the floor the way you reacted to Paulie getting freaked out by the psychic guy knowing about the poison ivy incident when he shot the guy in the woods.
😂
You guys are the best! 🫶
Yay another episode and reaction from my favorite channel!! ❤
Have a beautiful and blessed day! Much love
Thank you.. and you have one as well ❤
"Oh, Jesus!"
"Mary and Joesph!" 😆
Hey to my favorite couple Asia and BJ. I'm really enjoying watching this with y'all. Have a great day 💜💜
"Here is my brother, best paper waller this side of Kentucky"
- Who dat? FBI?
fuck, i can't 🤣🤣
14:22 until the later seasons this was one of the nastiest things Tony ever said. I think every son felt that. 😖
"Ghostbuster" LOL
The two best back to back episodes 🔥
Chris may be a screw-up sometimes but he's a beast with a gun.
Paulie will always be my favourite character.
Melfi was scared I think bc she's still spooked about having to go into hiding and now one of Tony's closest guys gets shot. She might not think it's over
44:19 - Asia, the witness didn’t know it was a mob guy he saw when he first went to police, much less Tony Soprano.
The witness didn’t know it was a “Saprano” episode he was witness to. Once he found that out.....”I saw nothing!!”
"im supposed to get vesectomy when this is my male heir?"
IM DEAD Tony is really a piece of shit HAHA
35:51 “well you need to go home” 😂😂😂
First time i saw this ep was the first time I heard My Lovers Prayer. Legitimate A+ jam.
This series low key has a ton of really really good songs
Did asia sneeze in her hands?! BJ you didnt even say bless you haha
Here we go again. 2 fav reactors and the greatest show of all time. Let's gooooo
You two are awesome. Love this channel.
Not Today Pal podcast starring Meadow and AJ aka Jamie Lynn Sigler and Rob Iler !
Season 2 episode nine and Paulie 🤣😂🤣😂. More to come w Chris and Paulie!
Michael gambond who plays Dumbledore has die today
Tony says Meadow is just like him. Then, she goes and milks grandma for money.
Great writing.
Great episode y’all!! I don’t want it all to end, good times😎🤘
Maybe this has been written but dr. Melfi psychiatrist is Peter Bogdanovich, one of the best directors of the 20th century.
PLEASE watch Sicario. I would love to see that.
Tony was made aware of the witness bc they have insiders that are cops. So Tony knew before journalists or the cops released a statement. Newspaper was just printing news journalists have ways to find out, no conspiracy there. The witness then saw the headline, realized the cops withheld the severity of the situation, and retracted bc he feared reprisal.
Loved this show ❤❤❤❤
Wait until you watch Godfather Part II, you'll get to see Corrado / a.k.a. Uncle Junior (Dominic Chianese) when he's 20 years younger. He he plays a supporting role as Johnny Ola, a Jewish mobster.
Isn't he Hyman Roth's Sicilian messenger boy?
@@lizd2943 Yes, Ola isn't jewish, he's an Italian
"Oh Mr. Musto no is come." I'm surprised Carmela didn't dump everything she was cooking into the trash this time.😂
"Maybe it has to do with the CK1 stinking up your shirt last Wednesday night"
A woman can smell another woman's perfume on her husband at 100 yards! 😸
2x9 at the end with Tony and Carmella hit home with y’all. Love it
Otis Redding soundtrack.
4:21-Richie wasnt lying to Tony about who sh*t Christopher, he was telling about a dealer that knows where the unshot kid was hidin out. Great reaction u 2👍
You guys are awesome! I love all your videos!
The witness did not realize or told by the police the murder he thought he witnessed involved the mob or waste management consultants. Just a random incident. Upon reading in the paper it was related to organized crime they freaked out and decided they didn't witness the thing that didn't happen.
Junior had an epiphany, and is atoning for his sins
People can say tony was wrong for saying that about his male heir but he is just being honest.
Basically the qitness went to the police that he saw a shooting. They showed him a picture of tony and said is that him. He said yes without knowing that was tony soprano, mob boss. I guess he never had a name to a face. He knew of tony soprano bit not what he looked like. And the police were careful not to tell thw witness who the man in the picture was. Which is why when he saw the article, he got mad cause he knew the police didnt tell him who he saw because he would be too afraid to testify.
I felt bad for Carmela she wanted to have an affair with that guy. She deserved to have one since tony always cheats on her
I agree , she deserves it after the way Tony treats her , but like alot of guys they get to do what they want , but if their wife strays just once and has a bit of long overdue fun the man pays the price . You especially dont mess behind Tony's back .
I Really like the Show - Always Did. Even Back in the Day When I Used to Watch Each Week - Every Sunday night I Remember. Fantastic Just Gets Better and better. 😊👍👌
The Saga Continues 👊✊😆🎃🍁🍁🎃
Alright!
This is my favorite Paulie episode
Lol other than The Office, The Sopranos is the funniest show of time. Belly laughin' ova heeeeeya
