Earlier in the season when Richie heard about Christopher hitting Adriana, Richie told him to keep his hands off her unless you "give her your last name." Richie and Janice weren't married yet, so Richie broke his own rule and ended up dying.
He also said he’d cut chrissy up into a bunch of pieces🤣
Janis wouldn't have put up with that bull even if they were married.
They bend more rules than the Catholic Church.
The Sopranos has some of the best comedy lines ever. We buried him on a hill overlooking a lake. 😂
@@spencerm5612😢ya did?
@@darshin95😂
That line! I remember it when I saw the episode over 20 years ago. It was the first episode I watched of the series. I am rewatching the series from the beginning with my husband.
The whole plot twist of Janice taking out Richie was gold, and gave us the best scenes between Tony and Janice. I love that bus scene at the end.
Jr did tell the truth, however I felt he only did it because he knew Tony was a better option. I never thought it was a test for Richie.
Junior was surviving on subsistence level only, what crumbs Tony allowed him to have, and he used this to score points with him. Tony gave him a bump up in the company profit sharing program.
He didn't. He was completely in with ritchie on the plan to get rid of tony. He gave ritchie his approval and support. He lied to tony about being a sort of spy to get the truth out of ritchie. His evaluation of how he's better off with tony is correct. He didn't lie about that. But he did lie about being on tony's side from the beginning and how he was just part of ritchie's plan just so that he could get information from him.
@@TheSodominionHe would've stayed on Richies side if Albert would've joined Richie in helping to put Junior back on top.
This episode never fails to produce reaction gold! 😂
It's really fun to rewatch season 2 when you see how they set up the fake out. Thanks for another great reaction, guys!
There is a motiff of people tripping down the steps in the Sopranos in the series throughout the years. Even Tony's favorite childhood memory is the whole family laughing at their father falling down the steps. Even the prequel movie in 2021 has a scene like that.
This channel is such a nice vibe to come home to after a stressful day at work. Asia's laugh is contagious lol 😊
I agree, her laugh is awesome! And BJ reminds me of one of my friends! Same laugh... same mannerisms! The world needs more people like this!
Amen to that!
otally agree cheers from a swedish with italian descent
This was supposed to be Janice’s last appearance. It changed once the actress Nancy Marshand who plays the mother actually passed away
I remember when the Ritchie episode originally aired. I was like no way she just shot him, lol. That 20 secs from punch to last shot fired is still easily one of the top 10 clips from any of HBO's shows. Thats saying something considering Deadwood, Game of Thrones, Rome, other Soprano clips... Great reaction guys!
Jr was in with Ritchie but once he saw that Ritchie didn't have support from the other captains he switched sides and pretended that he was spying on Ritchie for Tony. Jr was only looking out for himself and used the situation to warn Tony to score points with him
Both of these episodes have fantastic endings. I love the warmth and normalcy of Tony returning his crew. And the choice of song on the second episode is perfect❤
Ever since we saw Richie show up this season we were just waiting for your guys reaction to this moment lol. Can’t wait for more 😃
These 2 episodes are great! 11 has some of the best Uncle Junior lines in the series. “Cocksucker Belleville” 🤣
Everyone was glad to see Richie go in episode 12! It was shocking when it happened. You’re gonna love the season finale episode 13!
I think you may have misread Uncle Jr. telling Tony about how he was testing Ritchie.
Uncle Jr. was planning to overthrow Tony, only when he found out he couldn't get any support from the community, he realized his best and only option was to align with Tony, and he threw Ritchie under the bus. He had to distance himself from Ritchie and he convinced Tony that everything he did against Tony's orders was just a way of smoking out Ritchie and what his intentions were. That's what separates the guys at the top from everyone else.
Richie made one fatal mistake: he underestimated the Soprano temper.
A suckling pig is tender and moist. Makes great pork roast, you know at Christmas roasted with an apple in its mouth? Also, great southern-style bbq, coated in black pepper and buried in a hole with hickory wood and hot coals to smoke it cooked. Dig it up and make pulled pork bbq sandwiches! Lets eat! 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷
I can't wait to see your reaction to Ralph next season. 🤣
"Hey Hey I saved the world today
Everybody's happy now
The bad thing's gone away..."
This show & playing 'happy music' when people get clipped / beaten up.
The character of Ralph Cifaretto in Season 3 is one of the more memorable ones of the series. He essentially picked up where Richie left off.
why are both of you posting spoilers?
Shoot, I think I drank too much! I'm sorry :0(@@jimchabai3163
I deleted it!@@jimchabai3163
Tony Sopranos enforcer, the one with the lip, in real life is Steven Van Zandt and plays guitar for Bruce Springsteen. He is just happens to be a great actor also. He has a spin off from the Sopranos called "Lilyhammer".
The Ritchie execution was the bomb. Great reaction!
It was crazy when Janice does Richie like that...🤣 I can't wait to see you react to his replacement. Nice scene at the end too when Tony tells Carmela too...😆
with pinecones all around LMFAO
Asia and BJ’s reaction was priceless when Janice brought that cannon out to smoke Richie. Lol. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
In italy.. garbage is the mafias number 1 weapon. They own ot completely. A high level mobster was arrested in Rome and held without bail.. overnight all gabage pick up stopped.. in just 3 days the streets were so full cars couldnt drive and the city came to a complete stop.. the guy was released and charges dropped. Thats scary power
Awesome, Awesome 👍👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
23:09 "You should read Tomato Sauce for your ass, it's the Italian version!"
I still PMSL every time I hear that line. 🤣🤣🤣😉👍
Right as Richie Aprile is getting cut into pieces, A.J. goes, "Now you see why they got the meat business!" 🤣🤣🤣
BJ
@@blakenorman4822 Ah, yes, was prob thinking of Tony's son AJ.
Jersey to Seattle is one long ass bus ride.
"Pushy" wigging out. He's got Stockholm syndrome.
Even the FBI agent had to tell him that he's not an agent.
And to hell with Tony anyway, he doesn't even hold up the cardinal rules either.
"You step on my bunion!, I kill you"-Jim Brown
(From the movie I'M GONNA GET YOU SUCKA)
I've gotta turn down the brightness on my PC on this channel. Asia be blinding me with those pearly whites 😛
Satriale's Pork Store is an Italian Meat Market with the finest of cuts. It's located in Elizabeth N.J. You can even pick up a Satriale's vinyl sticker for your laptop or water bottle next time you order some meatballs 🧆 steak 🥩 sausage or 🍖 or bacon🥓 .
Maybe not though since, to hide the bodies, they ground up one guy and now they ground up Richie at the meat market also.
I'm wondering if Tony's Russian girlfriend Irina is going to be smart and
"take the money and run" (Steve Miller Band).
Somehow I think we haven't seen the end of Irina quite yet!
Love you guys
🫶
Thanks A&BJ
Thank you guys 😭 your guys sopranos reactions are like crack to me lmao the best show ever and the best reactors on RUclips is a god tier combo
LoL BJ literally jumped out of his seat 😅
I'm on season 3. After watching y'all doing reactions to Sopranos, I had to re-watch again. Hope my favorite couple Asia and BJ have a amazing day. 💜💜
I did the same thing lol
"I'm in oar of you."
-Bobby B
who is yall fav character? i love Bobby Bacala, the one that takes care of uncle jr. by the end of the show you'll love bobby . he goes from a nobody to tonys underboss. his story line is a good one.
janice falling for tonys explanation hahahah
Satriale's is one of the fronts for the NJ crew. Tony has a piece of it. It's where Chris made his bones killing the Czech guy. Also where they've cut up some of the bodies. A state mafia is made up of multiple families and families are made up of individual crews. Tony's is just one of several crews.
This was some of the best, but you got more coming. What a great time during this series.
00:35:29 Junior wasn't telling Tony the truth. Junior was ambivalent and conniving the whole time (Bobby was "in awe" of the manipulation). He sold the drugs because of the money not to catch Richie in a lie. When he realized he'd have to choose between Richie or Tony, Junior came up with a story to convince Tony of his loyalty and secure his cut.
The crew has two primary hangouts/hideouts, Satriale's Pork Store and Bada Bing, though that eventually becomes more of Christopher/Adriana's spot.
Tony's comment in therapy about how "I'm gonna do the George Sanders long walk here" is a reference to the actor who committed suicide in 1972.
Best song & film pairing ever
Uncle Junior is the best!!! Show is comically underrated!!!
Tony owns Satrielles pork store and the Bada Bing. He also owns a percentage of the Barone Sanatation, where he works as a "consultant" so he can have free health insurance and a W2 to file taxes.
SEVEN is a good movie it's also creepy and scary!! But Brad Pitt screaming WHAT'S IN THE BOXXXXX 😅
You Guys are Back! - Like You Never Left!! 👊✊😊😆 The Saga Continues!! 🎃🍁🎃
Could you imagine if Richie played Tony in the cast roll, it almost happened!
HBO would've canned it in 2 seasons. He didn't have the makings of a prime time HBO athlete
@@odoylerules4503 😆
Richie Aprile to Chrissy at the beginning of the season - “You lay your hands on my niece again, I’ll chop you up into a bunch of pieces” Gotta love The Sopranos.
The sopranos is actually comedy. I forgot how funny almost every scene is
"Everybody's happy now, the bad thing's gone away."
Well there goes Richie Aprile☺; there was never a dull moment with him around- and he definitely had to go. David Proval put his foot in that role!! One of my favorite seasons. Not a huge fan of S3 Episode 1, but the season is good and I'm looking forward to watching it w you guys next!
Shame that both Janice and Richie didn't kill eachother because they are both easily the most obnoxious characters in the whole series.
Ahahah....I love that BJ knows how the world works 😂
Yesssss !!! Keep em coming like you never left 😂
"Now you can see why they got the meat business." -BJ
"and she did it in the comfort of her home." -BJ
Tony inherited Satriales meat shop from his dad. He also owns the Bada Bing strip club, He “works” as a consultant for Baron Sanitation making over $100,000 a year in taxable income there (I put the work in parentheses because he barely ever shows up there. They just pay him because his family controls the sanitation unions) He has a partnership in the two pizzerias that Beansie owns. He owns some real estate and he has some other stuff going on too…
Asia and BJ, making Tuesdays Great again.
Big joint toffee apple cheesecake and a sopranos reaction 👌 best kind of evening (it's legal ish here)
Great reaction! It is very interesting to see your reaction to the film Robocop 1987. This is a cool movie 👍🔥🦾
Ritchie and Janice are both gone! That's why the relief is so much.
Asia and BJ another movie that is really good the "The Others" with Nickol Kidman, It's scary and thrilling.
Now you know why the sign says sausage is only $1.99 per pound. 20:36
Just in case you care .. Furio was yelling " What the fuck you doing...Your always going fast..don't you know there are kids around here" ...at the speeding car guy at the end of episode 11
You guys are the best! Please do a Sopranos reaction daily! I watch while i work😅
4:40 Sliding Doors *is* a very good film, well worth a watch 👍👍👍👍
F**k no, Seven.
@@francisalbert1799Both good, both very different films 👍👍👍👍
Hope everyone is doing well today.. ⭐
Gotta make a Porchetta to eat during this show! So good!
Have you guys realised that Dr Melfi is Ray Liotta's wife Karen in Goodfellas? She's considerably older obviously.
I always got the feeling Richie's character didn't live up to what the writers hoped for him. Like they were talking through Junior when he said, "He (Richie) couldn't sell it. He's not respected." The audience doesn't respect Richie; he was supposed to be something more than a lowlife, but that's all the character was able to produce. And that only goes so far. So, they had Janice put in work.
Millions of viewers breathed a sigh of relief when Janis shot Richie. But... new people are coming to keep things interesting don't you worry.
Being on the take is when a law enforcement officer is being paid off to look the other way.
RICHIE IS A NIGHTMARE!!😵😵😵😵😵
Its sad cuz as far as I recall, this is the one and omly episode Katherine Romano appears in
next one Season 3 is my favorite season.
Great .....simply fun to watch again !! and watching your reactions...
FYI, “On the take” means involved with the mob
I wonder why Junior's lady friend was never seen again after this episode. it seemed like her and Junior were good for each other
You're flexinnnn'!
Awwww Yeaaahhhhhh!!! It's that time again!
I am a footman for sure, but not when it involves bunyans!
can't wait for y'all to see season 3
1:32 Snitches get stitches... 🙈🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣
i love you two guys! youre great
Hey Asia better shirt 👕.. Hey B. J just play that song.. Hahah ... epp 14 lets go
Hey hey
I saved the world today
I like the song they went out on
I think we can all say that we won't miss Richie Aprile...
Richie didn't hit Janice. He hit Beansie. With a Suburban. =P
It's that time again 😊 YAY
Love how ya'll are doing the entire show. Greatest show ever made followed by Breaking Bad and The Wire.
And plz keep going!!!!
@@shawnpiette5372snowfall replaced the wire
@@shawnpiette5372 I know I kinda just threw it in there but top 10. How about Game of Thrones for 3.
I'm italian and a new Yorker. When the sopranos first started I was walking down the street with my friend Jen .she said ed you remind me of Tony soprano.i asked who Is that? She told me it's a new mafia show on HBO. No sooner did she say that when some black dude walking toward us ,stopped and said, hey man I know you, you Tony Soprano!! My friend Jen about shit herself laughing!
BJ, did you really think Tony was telling the truth when he told Carmela he broke it off with Irena, c'mon bro 😉
"On the take" probably means if he worked with the mob or did things for them.
Yeah it does mean taking money from the mob.
and it only gets better from here.
SUCKLING PIGS ARE EXTREMELY TASTY AND POPULAR FOR FEASTS.🐷🐖
bj and asia i love u guys. your reactions are priceless and bj you a fool bro.
35:35 Junior was playing him. He didn't see shit. He was totally on board with Richie until he showed he couldn't get any support from anyone. Likely a result of his attitude with everyone since he got out. Junior decided to stick with Tony, so he played up being "in the know" and "playing Richie" to make it seem like he was doing more than he really was. Junior was impulsive from the start. Most of these guys are.
I'm sure that Janice will meet someone very nice on the bus... yeah...
