I love how you get the humor of the show. Even the little things like everyone having swag from daveys store or livia getting scared at meadow opening the door. The funny moments always helped me appreciate the show even more.
Thank you! this is the best compliment:)
The guy who play uncle Junior is such a good actor
He doesn't need a lot of screen time to shine
great singer and stuff too
I love when carmela goes to talk to Chris and he's just slamming that button
I think the show is realistic for this. People are not black and white, even criminals. In many respects, they are just like us. They have families that they love and care for, but then they go out and conduct these horrible actions. Tony Soprano and the rest of his crew are good depictions of this. Not excusable but since we view things from their perspective, it's kinda easier to not be as repulsed by it.
yeahh i agree actually-- which is why I don't like to get any heat when I say that I like Tony, and people are like "but he's a murderer!!" ... like, I know, but he's funny sometimes haha
agreed but let’s not forget crime is relative, some things are legal but horrible and some things are considered crimes but aren’t actually and some are crimes for some people but fine for others… it all depends on who does them…
Keep the 3 o’clock message in the back of your mind till the very end of the show
Also episode 9 this season was written by Chrissy’s actor. Michael Imperioli.
This. Super important. Only caught how significant this was on like my 4th rewatch
No spoilers, but as David chase has said many times, all the answers are there if you pay attention
It's one of the funniest parts of the sopranos, Chris' vision of hell is an Irish Bar where it's St Patrick's Day everyday and they always win at gambling.
I remember watching it originally and feeling it was the fastest hour on television. Best show on television in its day
If feels like it was just a couple of years ago I was still waiting for “Sopranos Night”. I can’t believe it’s been off air for so long.
Quickly becoming my top 3 favorite Soprano reactors! The commentary, the edits, the insight, emotion, you seriously have the makings of a Varsity RUclipsr!🤣 Keep grinding porrrr favor🫶🏽 Also, please put The Wire and Succession on your list if you haven’t watched already! Great shows
Wow, thank you!
Lol “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!” is an old expression people used to use. It’s like a more polite way of saying “Jesus Christ!”
Bouncing back and forth on your channel between the MCU and The Sopranos, these are like my 2 favorite things lol, keep up the great work ! This show only gets better and better
Awesome reaction as always Christy! Hope you're still enjoying this amazing show!
Cheers!
You guys keep getting me with these upload times. I think the last two Sopranos videos uploaded at night which would be fine but i love having them to watch at work when I'm bored. It's so frustrating knowing they're sitting there to watch but i have to wait until the next day. So yeah, now my first world problems have been vented. Everyone please ignore me, and Cristy & Jorge, great job as always!
I love how you do the, "How ya doin'"? It reminds me of the Colombian "Quiubo" versus "Que hubo" or "Que onda" hahaha. Great channel! Looking forward to Season 4!
Micheal Imperioli who plays Christopher Moltisanti wrote a ton of episodes I am pretty sure this is his first tv writing credit
That's the first time that I have watched your reviews. And you made me laugh with some of your comments, which were all on point. It was an enjoyable watch. Thanks.
You finally started watching this show ! It’s been awhile! Happy New Year to you and your family !
crazy that S2E9 was the first time we see The Sopranos have sex lol
Every day is St Patrick's day. love it!
Paulie talking about the rules of purgatory is hilarious 😂
ahhahahah yes!!! such random formula
The jacket wasn't ugly lol. It was a beautiful jacket.
22:12 "what's the 3 O'clock for tony I am wondering" 👀😅
The frog & scorpion analogy is interesting, since frogs typically win fights against scorpions. 🤣
It’s a story about a frog giving a scorpion a ride across the river on its back, and when the scorpion stings the frog they both die, when the frog asks why, the scorpion replies it was in its nature
@@newjojosupercutsandmore2489
Oh yeah. I forgot about that story. Thanks.
Not sure if you realize that the actor who plays Silvio plays guitar with Bruce Springseen's E-Street band. Fun fact.
13:05 Pauline makes a lot of sense here
Tony isn’t that nice. Tony giving $50,000 to Beansie, he buys peace-of-mind for himself. All the bad stuff he was doing with the Matthew murder, the bust out with Davie Scatino, missing AJ’s swimmeat etc.. it’s all for Tony to feel better about himself. He thinks he can buy his way into heaven. That’s why he gave Beansie the dough and was walking away smiling.
"Jesus, Mary and Joseph" is a common expletive.
It's amazing to be be witnessing your journey. Honestly your in for an amazing ride
“He’s in the same bathroom that his wife kissed another man.” You are still ruling this reaction Christie! Keep up the masterpiece 💯
16:40 It's crazy seeing how I was around those kid's ages around this time
that guy got the information not for the money, but to score points, and he couldn't leave without taking some money, it was to save face
haha you really thought they were gonna let that kid live after trying to murder chris... there's no such thing as scaring somebody enough. just last season we saw tony murder a guy for snitching a long time ago.. they arent going to take any chances ever
If you guys haven't recorded it yet I'm putting in a request to do the last 3 episodes of this season in one video. It is a lot of time to sit a watch stuff though, but selfishly it would be awesome.
We originally planned on doing this, but when it came time to actually record we realized it was a LOT. Burnout is a real risk especially when recording (and editing) while also having a full time job. Ultimately we decided to have the season finale be its own standalone video, and (having already recorded it) I think it's for the best. Each episode gets its due and the impact isn't diluted. Also makes the season finale feel more like an event. I think we're gonna stick with that for future seasons as well. Sorry!
I honestly love your enthusiasm! But, until I can do this ful time, I probably won't be able to do 3 episodes in one sitting. BUT the time will come, my friend
@@CristyReacts Hey it was worth a shot.😀 You guys are sweethearts for even answering my nonsense. Like I said, it was just me being selfish and not wanting to wait another week for the finale.
@@every-ist6222 Please don’t apologize. While I was typing the message I was thinking 3 hours is long time for Cristy to spend watching and then having to edit a 3 hour episode is even more work. It was a long shot of wish that I definitely did not mean to be taken seriously, but you guys are awesome for even answering me.
One of my new favorite channels 29:40
13:56 Ha ha ha! 🙂
Love how english just leaves your brain in moments where something big happens 😂
Hah! I love the idea that maybe Tony would let Matt go... thank you for your vids!
Imagine your wife says, if your gunna keep doing what you do, basically indicating she’s aright with him cheating on her like come on lol
9:25
Keep working on it. 🤣
It’s foogeeetaboouuuteeet🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
I think your facial expressions during Janice and Richie's sex scene is exactly how most of us felt. 30:10
Every time you try to do the New York Italian-American accent, it reminds me of the movie Mickey Blue Eyes (1999) starring Hugh Grant as an art gallery auctioneer getting married to Jeanne Tripplehorn's character who is the daughter of mob boo played by James Caan. You might enjoy it.
Nice shirt. 😃🤘
32:48
🤣
Michael Imperioli (Christopher Moltisanti) wrote the episode From Where to Eternity.
The next two episodes should be a lot of fun. 👀
**A man on the show cheats**
Christy: “DEATH TO CHEATERS!”
**A woman on the show cheats**
Christy: “You go, girl!”
🤣
No cheating by anyone would be ideal, but Tony cheats on Carmela SO MUCH and she turns a blind eye! If that's how it's gonna be, she should get to mess around too!
Incel take
Feels like you're missing a heavy dose of context there champ
@@CristyReacts Haha, I hear you. I just found the stark contrast amusing.
idk if anybody said it to you yet but noticing more and that you like Paulie it made me wanna tell you that you should check out his real name because he's got a pretty cool history part of which has to do with him being an actual mobster back in the day and somehow got out. oh and fun fact he was the only character from sopranos that had real life ties to the mob.
HA CRISTY👋👋👋👋
Davey really messed up with his addiction and Tony took full advantage. But, to be fair, Tony did warn davey at least twice not to get involved.
You'll find out about 3 o'clock later in the series
What does 3oClock mean? Just remember in season 6: 3oClock can indicate time, and *direction*
STOP YAKKING & JUMP!😱
Poor Matthew, they ED-209'd his ass...
The poor man, rich man joke ain't for EVERY one lol and I don't see how Tony is THE WORST
Is it a coincidence that Joey knocked on the door to leave right after you said "husky"??
ha! he thought i was talking about him
They wet Mathew up like that cos it was personal. Also isk why I always confuse Mathew up with Jackie junior.
Yeah......how you dooin'.
Listen, I want you to step away from the wine (unless it's homemade) and start drinking Dr. Pepper when you're watching TV. Especially "The Sopranos". We need you with a clear head.
Wine? I was literally eating a tangerine
@@CristyReacts Just a joke about your comment at the 13:56 mark. Obviously, a very bad joke.😭
Ahhh I get it lol!! honestly 58% of my jokes land terribly so don’t even worry haha
@@CristyReacts Too late. I'm worried.
I think you should just keep doing your best to chip away at that 58%. Why I'll bet if you try really hard, you can get that number down to 55-56% by year's end.😜
Besides, you're jokes hit well over 60% with me, but I have the sense of humor of an immature 12 year old boy. Anyway.......since The Sopranos is my favorite series, you just keep doing what your doing and we'll get along just fine.😎
for me, Carmella doesn't get enough criticism for being a hypocrite. She profits from Tony's criminal career more than anyone---- and yet she plays this sanctimonious, self-righteous christian facade and acts surprised when Tony cheats on her. (Edie Falco does an amazing job of this).
Thats never happened to you? Carmela and Vic.? I've been there once. I was able to resist at the time.
I think that was really really big at Tony to have her tested for AIDS. I don't know why she got upset after that
"I got my mistress tested for HIV to keep me and you safe from it, but I won't take extra measure to ensure I don't get her pregnant" Don't you think that saying that to your wife isn't a little out of touch?
Led-Zeplin!
You'll find out what 3 o'clock means at the end of the show, keep it in mind.
Three o'clock...
🌳o'clock
Did you ask what was wrong with AJ? I be depressed if that was my son too.
Yo here is a tip for practicing your NJ accent try saying it all in one word "howyadoin" all one word fast you almost got it down but I think you are saying it too slow
Sociopaths on screen, sociopaths off.
These are the most fucked up, revolting people in the world. If they were more successful, they'ed be Hitler or Pol Pot.
Typical horrible female advice... Carmella having an affair also would be what saves her & Tony's marriage. You can't make this shit up, folks!
I don't give advice to fictional characters; I talk about what I'd like to see as a viewer. I like the drama! Thanks for watching
You can forget about 3:00 o'clock for quite a while. And even then, you might not realize it without someone pointing it out because it may not mean what you think it means.
22:29 objectively wrong
You have more street smarts and basic understanding of a lot of than most reactors I've seen 🤌
