Tom gets a lot of stick for his prices but this is not your ordinary pub food and you are paying for top quality ingredients, skilful chefs and support staff. This is all about the experience and yes not everyone will be afford to eat there but they can experience it vicariously through your reels.

Just a matter of interest Anthony Worrall Thompson restaurant The Greyhound is only 20 minutes up the road absolutely blinding steakhouse you need to go there and doesnt hit your pocket hard either.
Have to say my mouth was watering through this whole video.The food looked fantastic. Too many ignorant people complaining about the price.They have no idea !! The quality and skill that goes into such food is worth every penny. I (my wife and I) love treating ourselves to great food and this place is now top of our list to try. I've eaten at the Hand and Flowers, and a big fan of Toms, often cooking from his books. The man is huge driving force in getting British food on the map. People who knock him, really do not understand what he's about. To be fair, for what you pay at his restaurants for a 2 Michelin star meal is quite cheap. 2 stars isn't just the food, the level of service is incredible. Well done to you guys for ACTUALLY going there, and seeing for yourself, as opposed to people who never have, and moan at the cost!
I'm a big fan of Toms too. He really needs to sort out the crap Harrods are serving in his name in their fish & chips.......... I'm sure he is earning nicely from it, but it is not to his standard at £37 for fish & chips.
Watching this I would be tempted to try the place however having previously been there 3 times already in the past, once as a mystery shopper for Green King, I can honestly say that none of the food I was ever given looked as good as this and was in fact tasteless and greasy there was even the smell of stale cooking oil in the car park. Friends of mine went about 6 months ago and were thoroughly disappointed in the standards of food and service, on a positive note another friend swears by the place and loves it so it seems to be very hit and miss.
You have to try Canotto Pizza in East Kilbride Scotland it is unreal! Place doesn’t open until 5pm but it is worth it! Smash burgers too but only a Sunday!

I think I had a moment about 6 times watching this and at one point I nearly cried. This is definitely on my hit list for 2024.
