I've been getting a lot of Texas Roadhouse vids on my recommends here and on Instagram for some reason. I've actually never been so gave it a try last weekend ... I was shocked at how good their steak is. I've been to some of the best steakhouses in the world (Peter Lugar, Keens, Delmonico's) and I'd honestly put Texas Roadhouse up there with any of them, for about half the price. Bread was great too, definitely going back!
It's refreshing to see a food review RUclipsr who is totally honest, balanced and gives constructive criticism rather than just proclaiming everything they eat to be amazing
People are so easily impressed lol These reviewers are making bank off of the easiest content imaginable, and the bar is literally to just not say everything is amazing.
@@davidbehm8184 Not just broccoli, alot of veges smell like ass when overcooked. Cook them so they still have a good bite and it will never smell like that
Last time I got a burger they overcooked it to where I couldn't eat it had them send it back git another one and it was just as bad super burnt dry hard and just barely edible. Their steaks are amazing though
Unless a dietary restriction definitely should’ve got the ribs they’re the best entree on the menu tender flavorful fall off the bone goodness and next thing would be rolls like no one really goes for steak in my area (better options around) so it’s ribs and the chicken family meal and always extra rolls!

Then I asked the waiter what did he like on the menu. He not only suggested the grilled pork chops. But he also suggested the chili… Both were outstanding. It was a nice change up from the norm. And it was nothing less than great like the waiter said. I doubt that these items were sitting in the freezer just waiting on me to randomly orde it. Especially since I only go there once or twice per year. It’s on their menu because it sells. Kind of like the menu at Bonefish Grlll… Sure, they are known for their fish and seafood. But burgers, steaks, chicken, and pork chops are on their menu because people do buy it. Restaurants don’t stock perishable items that are never ordered. I was more than pleased/shocked with how good the waiters recommendations were.
Texas Roadhouse is my gatekeeper for all restaurants from being an okay restaurant and being a great restaurant. Roadhouse is my definition of a good restaurant.
Working here was my first job when I was in highschool. Anything fried slaps and the Salads are quality. We got to eat for free bruh I ate sooo many ribs
Ordered medium rare, got blue rare. Sent the steak back to get a bit more cook time for medium rare, came back well done. The roadhouse I go to is pretty inconsistent with their steaks. Just personal input but those rattlesnake bites and potato wedges are amazing
You HAVE to try their chili. With the cheese and onions. Omfgggg. My go to is a loaded baked potatoes the sweet potato (whatever mood I’m in), a cup of chili, and the 12 oz ribeye, medium rare. And always get a Kenny cooler with a kicked. Perfection every single time.
Went there last night. Payed about forty dollars for the tips with a ceaser salad plus blue cheese crumbles and mashed potatoes. I got a double shot of gin and tonic.
The fall off the bone ribs are fire tho lol. I'm also open to the fact that my bbq taste is very ignorant and miniscule. So many famous bbq spots in Texas I want to go to >.< Glad you liked the food a bit! :3

One of my favorite steaks is an 8oz sirloin cooked medium from texas roadhouse. Idk how but they make it so god damm perfect. Every. Single. Time.
because they have grilled where you just slap the meat on it, select the cut, size, and temp and it does it automatically.
