I used to do a similar thing, at night I'd always rush from the brightly lit corridor into my dark room and dive into bed as fast as I can to avoid the darkness monsters. See, monsters legally aren't allowed to get you while you're in bed, but the rest of the room? That's game.
I also "rescued bugs" and made homes for them, it was really cute.
As a kid, I remember a tv show where one of the characters had these "double knees" and she runs/ crawls really fast.
So she was chasing the main character and climbed up the stairs really fast and kind of bouncing off walls, and I thought it was really cool, so at my relative's new house, I tried it.
Made me feel like a god with double knees.
ummm, idk if I am being dum by asking but what are double knees? I tried googling it but I don't think I understand yet.

I remember when I was younger I thought that if I balanced the light switch just enough I could make it to where it would be kinda dark in the room but not all the way dark. It would be kinda bright too-

When I was younger I would sometimes walk on all fours
I also do the car thing with Wings of fire dragons, HTTYD dragons, and different video game characters
Often when I had free time at school/camp I would draw monsters straight from my imagination. I remember drawing an owl with massive scythes for wings and this one dinosaur-dragon with a head shaped as the metal part of a scythe but thick. I thought scythes were cool, ok?

The game music thing. In Pokemon Black 2, I would just listen to the music in this town where the music changes depending on which people in town you talk to. I would talk to all the characters that added to the music and then just listen. The song was really calm and I loved it so much that I didn't want to leave that town for a while.

omg me and you have a lot of similar things we used to do! i did basically all of those you listed in this video. man, it brings back nostalgia! lol
Some other things:
- Sprinting up the stairs after turning off the lights
- Getting excited when the time had all the same numbers (like if it was 2:22 PM for example)
- Always having weird competitions with other people that they don’t know about (Racing somebody to the door, for example.)
- Pretending that the raindrops falling down the window was some kind of race
- Staring at 2 clocks and trying to calculate about how far behind/ahead one of them is
- Putting pencils between your fingers like Wolverine
- Turning to face away from the door in bed and thinking somebody is going to kill you
When you finally catch the light in the fridge turning off.
I thought I was a genius when I found the button to turn off the light
I wanted to see if it could work while the fridge was closed
I did that yesterday and I found out that there’s a button for the door and when I accidentally pressed it I kinda screeched
This! My fridge has a lever in it that shuts off the light at the halfway point and I made the food spoil from keeping the fridge open.
and then soon afterwards you would find the switch that turns the light on and off then just press it everytime you open the fridge
Addon to the last one: Trying to go down the stairs on all fours and then immediately regretting it

Somehow I have done this and survived when I was younger
For 28 i learned how to make a REAL light saber that if you swing, it shoots out.
(For normal BIC Round Stic M pens)
1.Twist the nib of the pen while pulling. The top of the pen should pop off, leaving you with a plastic cylinder.
2.Grab the inc capsule and push off the plastic part that is right underneath the darker small pen part leaving you with three pieces (small dark piece with inc capsule is piece A, medium light piece is piece B, and the plastic cylinder is piece C)
3. Stick peice A into piece C so peice A is upside down.
4. Grab peice B and place it on top of piece A, into piece C and also locking piece A into place.
5. Swing your newly crafted pen-saber so the pen is facing normaly and and show off to your friends!
I have 3 things that most people do/believe: 1:making paper fans on a hot day. 2:Believing jinxes so you try to find wood to knock or you knock your head. 3:And crossing your fingers for good luck.
About the stair i would 100% do it and sometimes there's a teacher and they were like "who raise this kid?"

3:29 I totally agree with this one. One time when I was coloring one of my drawings, the green pencil got so freaking small that I couldn't hold it properly. I would get super frustrated when the nib broke because I had to hold it in place with pliers while sparpening it. Sometimes I even used the broken nib to color just to prolong the life of the pencil, and it hurt a lot. So you people better appreciate the pain.
I'm still going upstairs on all fours, and always have been, ever since the age of three. And I would ALWAYS have an invisible character jumping (by blinking) over trees and cars.
I once wrote "help" on my mother's car window backwards so that you could read it when looking outside of the window. For some reason the writing never went away and it is still on the car window to this day.

I remember that once , due to the fact that I didn 't have a pen , I decided that it wouldn 't be a bad idea to play tic - tac - toe by putting pens on the line that I found somewhere under the closet ... and I managed to take all three pens where one was red ! I felt like I had ripped off a million
3 years late to commenting on this, but when I watched my current favorite movie for the first time, I kept myself up the whole night imagining how well the visuals would hold up on my bedroom TV. I still see that one scene in the back of my head every now and then.

I can relate to stabbing the eraser, going up the stares on all fours, drawing on the windows when they're foggy but there are some things here that I relate to but what I do are slightly different like when I play the Mario and Luigi games, even though I completed a special attack I will still press the button when it would hit as if that would do more damage or when you said you watch TV in your head before you sleep. I do that but instead of TV, it's my own imagination. by far, the most relatable thing you said was the hand going to sleep. you ever seen static on a TV? that's what it feels like.

I used to have a freezer where that was actually pretty easy to do. As a curious kid, that led me to *see the actual switch that the door was hitting* and realize it was controlling the light.
...Then I'd just open the freezer just to poke the switch and watch the light go out, and my dad would scold me for wasting all the cold air. 😂
