I got thr 5560u model for $229. I can't complain for that price. Beats any n95 or n100, and for my uses, I'm currently running batocera on it and im playing gamecube at 3x and ps2 at 2.5x

good sir how the performance in Windows, I knew Emulator in Linux more optimize but I cannot afford to use dual boot in my everyday work and most programs I use can only be use in Windows, so I mostly use Windows to play game either via steam or emulation, and I barely can find Windows PS2 performance for this kind Mini PC, I did find ETA Prime video but its not useful coz his solution is just OC the CPU and APU or just slap eGPU.

Maybe it's because I'm an old senior but I see computers as a way of reading email, using MS Office, watching videos, DVDs, listening to music CDs and surfing the web. I enjoy watching RUclips videos. I'm planning on getting one of these mini computers but never for gaming, if and when I game, I use a console. These are GREAT mini computers.

I have the 5700u. I love it. It plays Fallout 4 with all the bells, and whistles. No complaints.
I play every Fallout game. I also play 7days to die. It runs great. All at just 15 watts.
Sound wise I've never heard any sound.

Not a gamer, have the 5700U Beelink SER5 Pro, removed win-dose, loaded Mint OS, use Kdenlive video edit, it just works! Paid $250, replaced NVMe (1TB), installed a spare 2.5 SSD, and doubled RAM! My back up to my mid-tower, no issues! Good performance.

These mini Pc’s are great for just your everyday fast browsing and mild editing. A bit of Minecraft and Roblox will do just fine maybe Fortnite and Valorant but keep your expectations low. If anyone is interested in a mini pc like this. Get a Zen 4 one with the 7000 series the 780m igpu is a beast and can play triple AAA titles at med to high settings 1080p.

Interesting idea to compare the two processors, but RAM useage is sus between the two computers. System RAM readings are incorrect on the 5500u.
    Don't add up.
    1. Is the RAM verified to be dual channel?
    2. RAM running at 3200MHz for both CPUs?
    3. Are games really at the same settings? Should include Settings screen for each game on both systems.
    4. Are both systems running the same background processes and programs?

It's interesting watching these improve so quickly. I caught a sale on a 5500u SER5 unit a few months ago, you can now get some of the updated units for less. The 5500u suits my needs fine for what I'm using it for but if the 5700u units come down to around the $250 mark I might grab one or 2 more to use as low power servers. Next gen AMD APU's look like they could be a substantial improvement so I'm pretty interested to see how those perform when they come out.

So question. Since this is made for gaming. What if I didn't use it for gaming. What if I just used it for streaming. Like running obs and editing videos. Would this be a solid choice?
