These guys have no idea how to set spinnaker in fresh breeze. Pole should be forward of beam and strapped down HARD using Pole downhaul before the spinnaker is raised. If the spinnaker takes over and starts to roll the boat simply dump the pole brace allowing it to go forward against the forestay. This will dump the power out of the spinnaker and allow the novice on the helm to regain control.
