i do this but with clothing, dressing up even if i'm not going anywhere helps me be more comfortable with my body and self image. just taking the extra time to build an outfit and just have some time designated just to my body has helped my mental health so much

I've had SO many men tell me to "wear less makeup" when literally all I had on was red lipstick, but I've gotten no comments when I'm wearing much more makeup but in a more "natural" look. I guess they only notice it if it's in bold colors?

I wear colorful makeup if I’m feeling down so I can be pleasantly surprised when I see myself in the camera. Color = mood boost

i think they have colorful liner like this at the dollar store. You can get super cheap colorful eyeliner for like 1$-3$
