Not sure why your car has started so rough since you've had the vmp tune on. They should be able to tune that better. There should be a startup enrichment table in the tune. Think it's just way rich on startup.
I mean it's e85... probably hasn't started it for a while
E85 starts way easier than that in Iowa winters
Chris E hmm let’s see... they just replaced the fuel pump, all fuel lines, fuel rails, etc; which means no fuel in any of the lines, possibly Air in the lines that needs to be purged. And to top it all off the car hasn’t been started in over 2 months.
Doesn't really matter. It's not a mechanical injected diesel. Within a second or two all air should be bled with fresh fuel at the injectors, and if the startup fuel table is correct, it should fire in that same start cycle. Something still isn't right, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt with it sitting for two months, even though MPI vehicles aren't known for hard startup after sitting anymore. Maybe 15 years ago, but not now.
@@karter2895 thing is it was doing the same thing before he added the fuel pumps. I supercharged my 01 Impala and switched to e85 and it starts within 2 or 3 seconds. I tuned it myself and I know for a fact there are tables in the tune that can cause a bad start like that. But not sure how VMP tune is setup.

I would shorten the wire from the battery to the fuse, I was taught to have it shorter than a foot to minimise the length that could possibly ground out before the fuse.

Should of just tapped your staging brake into the rear caliper lines, and just used your factory brake calipers to stage the car at the line. You're not building a drift machine so there's no need for a dual rear setup for what you're doing.

I killed the ecu in my car before. Was loading a tune on and accidentally set the charger to 70 amp start. That was a expensive mistake.

Right? This vehicle is at the point where an AGM or lithium battery would work better. And yup.. but it isn't as much of a big deal being a unibody. If it was FOB design, he'd have all sorts of issues grounding a triple pump setup into sheet metal.
