Disagree. She does not possess (objective) justice or patience. We literally see her being pissed off at you for not dying to her attacks in the neutral/pacifist routes. As for justice, she thinks what she’s doing is right, but objectively, what she’s doing isn’t. Tell me in what universe is it justice for undyne to serve asgore and kill 7 (innocent) humans (that are possibly CHILDREN) who in turn would commit genocide on 7.8 billion humans just because their ancestors did something that was “wrong.”

Okay, the person you got to voice Undyne is a perfect fit. That and she managed to nail each part of the speech. From faltering despair to the moment of clarity and then determination and hope. Excellent work
Y'know, I'm kinda sad the Undyne fight doesn't nearly get as much love as it deserves. And the fact that it's always overshadowed by Sans' fight. Like, maybe I'm just bitter cuz it took me nearly a whole year to finally get past this fight and then coming up to Sans fight and it looking a bit easier than I was expecting cuz of how the fans hype it up so much. (Haven't beaten it yet tho due to my joycon drifting, but even with that I can almost get to the halfway point with relatively no issues. And also I think why Sans fight appears far easier is just because Undynes attacks are so fast tho XD) BUT STILL!! Like, Undyne comes back from DEATH just to kick your ass!! And more or less goes Super Saiyan on top of that but almost no one ever talks about how cool Undyne is. And the fact she even has DETERMINATION to begin with and uses that to come back from dusting herself when Monsters aren't even supposed to be able to handle DETERMINATION. Not saying Sans fight isn't less cool or anything-because it is. And I absolutely ADORE those Gaster Blasters of his. But- I'm just saying Undynes' genocide fight deserves a lot more than it gets. It's no wonder Monsters call her "The True Hero." All in all, I really think you captured the emotion behind how cool that scene musta looked when she transforms

This is an excellent animation. I love the shading quality and the art style. I especially like how you drew Undyne with larger fins/ears than most, allowing her to appear larger and more menacing. You matched the character design well and I love it!
That would be really cool, but I like where it ends. It plays with the viewer's emotions and leaves them with the realization that no matter how hard Undyne will try, the human is just going to kill her anyways. The message it conveys is kinda sad once you realize that you can go up against someone really determined and strong, and defeated them. But then they're gone, just like that. This is one of my favorite animations because it embodies a lot of what the genocide run is all about.

i love how absolutely EVERYBODY makes Genocide Frisk attack with the Real Knife(even though he's not supposed to have it at this point) just because having them attack with ballet shoes,a glove or a -EFF-ing frying pan looks ridiculous
This is one of the most beautifuly made animations I've seen of this moment in genocide and it captures the anger of undyne and the setting with the human expecting a easy kill
Seriously though, this game was so well made to make you feel like the bad guy, I found myself excited to see Undone get up, and the person she was fighting was literally you. you playing the game. and the way this animation captured it was splendid! I just found this channel and you earned yourself a sub!
this is actually really good. I like how it doesn't have frisk unreachable like in some animation. it has to have emotions too!!!!! GREAT VOICE ACTING!!!!! and I love the remix with the wind in the background but the earth refused to die. it's amazing.
This is why undynes my favorite character, i overlooked her fight when i first played, now when i look back on it, i feel honored to have had my ass handed to me by her...
+SFS Animation Well yeah, that is true, but I honestly did not take it into consideration because it's a toy plastic knife, not a real sharp knife. I understand it's a weapon nonetheless, but I honestly don't think it could slash through armor. But hey, you guys did a damn good job with the animation, I just chock it up to video game logic you know?
Think about it this way as well: the other option was to have Frisk walking away with a ballet shoes on their hands :Y It'd've been silly. A knife, even a fake one, was the most dramatic option.
It's been nearly 5 years since this was released. Stuff beautifully animated and with great visual story telling exists, such as Glitchtale, X!Tale, Underverse, MegaTale and others. And yet. Despite it all. This scene. This video, this animation adapting the (arguably) best and most badass scene in the game is simply perfect. I never thought that i would find anything paying respect to this great character, during her greatest moment. Yet i find myself back here really often. No Undertale animation (or any animation that I've seen, really) is able to capture me like this one. It just has it all. The voice acting, the artstyle, everything is simply perfect! I haven't seen much stuff involving Undyne, let alone her Undying Form, (as it is overshadowed by the oversaturated funny boneman that goes "Dunananan"), and the ones I've seen are never able to capture the impact and emotion of this scene that made this anime-loving fish waifu that throws spears my favourite character in Undertale and one of my favourites in all of fiction, with the exception of this one. There's a high chance you won't see this, but congratulations SFS Animation. You made my favourite scene far better than i ever thought it could possibly be :)
You're the first one I come across to actually give the Heroine a different voice than the normal Undyne. I really love the Avatar-State-esque voice. Also, correct accentuation on the name; /ˈʌnˌdaɪn/ instead of /ʌnˈdaɪnˌ/, like a lot of people say. Really nice job! Perhaps Undyne's "splitting apart" could've been visualized a little bit more dramatically, but you stayed mostly true to how it looks in the game, so it's still good. Overall, I say it's great, kudos!
Okay, I know that it's hard to animate, but could you make a sequel to this that is the undyne fight scene? That would be EPIC!!!!!!!! Also, Undyne obviously wouldn't give a demon a spear to block attacks with, so Chara would probably use their knife.

+091104chris Well, before I did my Genocide run I had already been spoiled that there only were 2 real fights in it, and that Sans was the final boss. But I always assumed that the other "real fight" would be against Asgore, so seeing Undyne the Undying for the first time was quite surprising for me.

This is one of the most beautifuly made animations I've seen of this moment in genocide and it captures the anger of undyne and the setting with the human expecting a easy kill

Seriously though, this game was so well made to make you feel like the bad guy, I found myself excited to see Undone get up, and the person she was fighting was literally you. you playing the game. and the way this animation captured it was splendid! I just found this channel and you earned yourself a sub!

this is actually really good. I like how it doesn't have frisk unreachable like in some animation. it has to have emotions too!!!!! GREAT VOICE ACTING!!!!! and I love the remix with the wind in the background but the earth refused to die. it's amazing.
This is why undynes my favorite character, i overlooked her fight when i first played, now when i look back on it, i feel honored to have had my ass handed to me by her...
And thus, Frisk died over and over and got angry and gave up and reset
I was really hoping to see a fight scene... But this is still amazing!

At 1:17 the shading on her hair makes it looks like she has a slit iris. Looks cool.
I'm not one to nitpick, but in the game, you don't get an actual knife till you fight sans, right?

I understand it's a weapon nonetheless, but I honestly don't think it could slash through armor. It's been nearly 5 years since this was released.
Stuff beautifully animated and with great visual story telling exists, such as Glitchtale, X!Tale, Underverse, MegaTale and others.
And yet. Despite it all. This scene. This video, this animation adapting the (arguably) best and most badass scene in the game is simply perfect.
I never thought that i would find anything paying respect to this great character, during her greatest moment. Yet i find myself back here really often. No Undertale animation (or any animation that I've seen, really) is able to capture me like this one.
It just has it all. The voice acting, the artstyle, everything is simply perfect!
I haven't seen much stuff involving Undyne, let alone her Undying Form, (as it is overshadowed by the oversaturated funny boneman that goes "Dunananan"), and the ones I've seen are never able to capture the impact and emotion of this scene that made this anime-loving fish waifu that throws spears my favourite character in Undertale and one of my favourites in all of fiction, with the exception of this one.
There's a high chance you won't see this, but congratulations SFS Animation. You made my favourite scene far better than i ever thought it could possibly be :)

You're the first one I come across to actually give the Heroine a different voice than the normal Undyne. I really love the Avatar-State-esque voice. Also, correct accentuation on the name; /ˈʌnˌdaɪn/ instead of /ʌnˈdaɪnˌ/, like a lot of people say. Really nice job! Perhaps Undyne's "splitting apart" could've been visualized a little bit more dramatically, but you stayed mostly true to how it looks in the game, so it's still good. Overall, I say it's great, kudos!

+091104chris Well, before I did my Genocide run I had already been spoiled that there only were 2 real fights in it, and that Sans was the final boss. But I always assumed that the other "real fight" would be against Asgore, so seeing Undyne the Undying for the first time was quite surprising for me.
