Love how the ending shows that Sans is willing to go the extra mile for those he cares about despite his apathy.
Total side note, but it’s a breath of fresh air to see Undyne laughing at Sans’ sense of humor instead of getting pissed off.

We're at a point in time in which both sans and papyrus are grossly misrepresented by the community. This is why I love stuff like this. Just some classic sans and papyrus
so true. I get everyone having their own interpretation of them, but it's like nobody knows their original personalities anymore
and yes, they have some hidden edgy lore to them, but most of the time, they're two bros doing funny shit together.

@@enigmatic2878 I'm new to undertale Fandom around 2020 and now; see a lot of great content that enjoyable unlike the sonic content. I listen to some cool music watch fun/cool animation, read comic like:endertale and so much more. There even a "undertale the musical" that I find breath of fresh air. Play the game and sometimes watch playthrough. It was fun. Now don't get me wrong, the Fandom have some issues that I now learning about the history around 2016 however things have change and most of the time it have improved even better that I don't know about. To be honest when I saw that skeleton, i thought it was the protagonist but boy was I wrong; it was a human child (gender neutral, probably 10-13). Which I find it funny that I see so much sans been cool and badass while the human is treat as useless despite how they face in their adventures.
Funny how all the comments are full of nostalgia and are like, "Finally! Someone who gets their personalities right!" And then I'm over here just enjoying the beautiful animation and humor-

Coming back to this animation after years is wild, it still holds up so well and actually has these two boneheads’ personalities down to a t! I also didn’t realize Chase Young did both of their voice work, he did a very good job!
it does really well on all of their personalities, and their voices are pretty much the way I imagined them to sound, especially Undyne. And in one 10-second joke they nailed Undyne and Alphys' relationship perfectly

Ever since this animation came on my recommendations, I've always revisited it time and time again! All the small references from the game itself - like the abandoned quiche and the 'librarby' sign - make this animation feel more real and fun to watch. It even captures Sans and Papyrus's individual personalities so well, and it's accurate, adorable, abd most of all - heartwarming!

Honestly? I love this animation. I wish there was more like these. Like the story of toriel and asgore, or even undyne and alphys! But it’s hard to see animations like this anymore, back when it was simple, no uh, “things”. Just classic undertale content

Im gonna be honest, this animation is so amazing, I find out new things about it every day. 6 years later I’ve only just realised Gaster in the corner at 4:28
After 7 years, It's still good as it ever can be.
Probably the most accurate fan content to this day!
I don't mind a lot of the edgier incarnations of our beloved characters - I love a good dramatic plotline just as much as the next fan - but it really is a breath of fresh air to come back to this lovely animation after everything.
This really captures the original relationship between these two brothers so well. Heck, it captures general familial relationships even better: Two bros who do everything together, mess/tease with one another, but still obviously love each other very much.
I loved that the animation paid attention to the original game. Not only are there tons of small references that collide together wonderfully, but I love that it subtly embraces the more grim and depressing side of Sans as well - something that we only get to see a couple of times in the game, such as his dialogue whilst recovering his soul in the Pacifist route and hearing him say "This is what happens when people like me take it easy" in one of the neutral endings.
Those are some very sparse moments that are difficult to catch in the main game, and y'all managed to capture it extremely well, neither over nor under-playing it. The addition of Sans's overstuffed mailbox being overdue bills is honestly perfect - taking an existing object in the game and giving it further context that just makes sense in a brilliant and kind of soul-crushing way. And you do it multiple times, too.
I think that the ending was also perfect. If there's anything that Sans will work hard for, it's his bro (just don't tell HIM that!). It really put the biggest cherry on top of their awesome, wholesome relationship.
Everything here just seems to fit so perfectly with just the right amount of charm and jokes mixed in with just a touch of realistic darkness. It encapsulates everything Undertale is so well that I could have sworn it was written by Toby Fox. Certainly my favourite depiction of the game, very accurate and adorable :)

I never thought I’d find this nostalgic video of all things in my recommendations again! It’s been so long since the golden era of Undertale animations ended yet seeing this video again after so many years, makes me feel warm-hearted to have been a part of this community when I did and to feel that same sense of Classic Undertale humor after all the crap that’s been thrown my way really made me remember how good both this animation and this fandom is.

I love this for many reasons but the main reason I love it is because it reminds me of a simpler time. You know back when RUclips wasn’t stupid and whenever I feel down I always come back to this because this is what got me into Undertale all the way back. Thank you for molding a part of my childhood, I wish you the best of luck moving forward.

if you asked me 5 years ago what this was about, id have said "Mmmm brr good animation" but now that im more mature i can say that this is a bitter sweet animation, containing the sweet bond of a family (in this case siblings) but also some raw reality. Despite some dark traits, this is still wholesome and lovable. I just love this gem
Edit; No matter where you are rn, Undertale or not, i hope that the heart and soul that was poured into this keeps going and youre still happy with what you make

Oh man, talk about nostalgic! This was one of my favorite Undertale animations when I was little, still have 4 drawings I made inspired by it and a 5th I remember making but don’t have anymore! Tbh it’s still one of my favorite Undertale videos all these years later, love revisiting it every few months xP
