One tiny bit of advice for long term happiness - don't be your child's whipping boy. Once in a blue moon is one thing, we are human. But daily/weekly/monthly, unacceptable. It's controllable when she taught how to express it in a healthy way on something other than a living being.
Your daughter is so strong otherwise she would not have survived the years with her egg donor.Having cancer is tough for anybody at any age, but your daughter has had the cards stacked against her her whole life. And if there is one good thing to come out of that is that it has made her stronger. We found out that my son had cancer when he was a junior in high school. He had stage four and everybody said that he wouldn’t make it. With the exception of me and his doctor. The treatments themselves are the hardest part. My son wanted to give up on his 18th birthday. And I lost it I told him it was his choice and that I couldn’t legally make him continue his treatments. I was so upset that I could barely talk when I was telling his doctor that he wanted to quit. That doctor tore into him. The doctor told him that he wasn’t going to waste his time nor was he going to be just one more statistic. So a long story short . My son is now 52 years old and the cancer has never returned. If she loses her hair well you take her to a wig shop and make a day of you two being silly trying on wigs . Yea you too! Just try to keep her spirits up. And if she cries then you cry with her. Most importantly just pray! You and your daughter will be in my thoughts and prayers. If I can help you in any way please PM me and I will do my best to assist with anything I can! Please keep us updated on her progress.
This poor girl, I hear stories like this, and see my friend's granddaughter get brain cancer 3 times before she was 6 and remember the time, we took my mom to the Alzheimer's ward in the nursing home, and I saw all those poor people trapped in the bodies that have betrayed them. I just don't understand how people can worship such a cruel god. If there is a god, he is not the caring god he is made out to be.
This is my biggest fear that when I was younger or when I was released from prison I had a lot of 1 nights stands with all kinds of chicks that I met at a club I worked security at (ended up marrying 1 of them) but someone reaching out to me saying that I am their father
