Disney era is easily the best era of PR. They got some of the most liked seasons (spd, dino thunder, rpm, jungle fury) and objectively the best mentors (Kruger, Tommy, RJ). Even the worst of the era (operation overdrive) is just middle tier PR
Let's face it Disney and cartoon network have our childhoods in grip . From power rangers on jetix to shinchan and Doraemon on Disney. Moreover next comes animax got me into anime in my teens .
Ninja Storm is one of my favorites and probably the most underrated seasons of all time, good to see someone show some props to that season. Disney also had the morphing sequences on lock… they had the seasons with the best even Operation Overdrive.
Ninja Storm is by far the best season of Power Rangers for me. Probably because when I was on holiday around 2003, I remember seeing it on a little tv, and just being hooked by it. I think I was 9. Wow 20 years have gone by real fast. 😊
i'm actually glad that he was a "samurai" ranger. samurai and ninja were just a job title. they worked together in history. that kinda blew past most of us back then since, ninja turtles and other ninja shows made us believe they were enemies. as i got older, i got interested in a bit of japanese history, they definetly mention samurai who were also ninjas or civilians who were ninjas working for the same lord the samurai served. they respected each other. on a side note: what made me interested in that topic back then was when i realized that korean swordsmen were often doing espionage or assassination. if they did it in korea. what about japan?
@ulty1472 I would rather rematch operation overdrive 10 times then rematch what the hell the neo Saban Era was, especially Megaforce and super Megaforce
Honestly the one thing i remember about ninja storm was how hot tori was. Also DLC ranger is the most hilarious term ive ever heard to call them by. Accurate
As much as I love the Neo-Saban Era for giving us Dino Charge, the Disney Era is also incredibly important to me! Ninja Storm, I believe, was on of the first power rangers I ever watched! And RPM is just so so good. These shows definitely need to be talked about more
Ninja Storm is my favorite PR series. There were so much interesting story lines, the brothers redemption arc, the love relationships, but my most favorite was the journey of Cam becoming the green ranger, who actually was the most useful guy in the whole team. He was smart, strong and very responsible, which all of the rest were not. Not to mention I was madly inlove with him. 😊😅
I don’t see how this is the neglected era because more people liked Disney’s run on Power Rangers then Nickelodeon & Hasbro’s run on the series. If anything, the Neo Saban Era’s more neglected.

Speaking as someone who came to the franchise as an adult and has only been watching for less than 2 years (bounching from all different seasons), I have to say so far my favorite era are the 4 seasons right after Turbo. In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, and Time Force. They still have that classic feel pre-cell phones and such, and I like the adult rangers with actual jobs and more mature storylines. I think they also pushed the physical action the farthest they would until RPM. However, I've only watched SPD, Jungle Fury, and RPM all the way through for the Disney era, and I LOVED all of those, especially RPM. I think I'll watch Dino Thunder next, it seems pretty popular.

I grew up watching Ninja Storm as well, plus a bonus fact that you should have mention: the show was suposed to be called Power Rangers Hexagon and it should be an Avengers's style organization leaded by Tommy Oliver as a Nick Fury type of leader, the origin of their powers was by Ninjor just like MMPR Season 3, and the Thunder Rangers was suposed to be in the Anti-Hexagon team and trained by Jason (OG MMPR Red), and Tommy suposed to be the Green Ranger and the final antagonist and had to end Hexagon and his story Arc as well. But everything had to be re-written as the PR franchise got sold to Disney.

I didn't grow up with the Disney era (which I consider Ninja Storm through RPM) but surprisingly it's my favorite for its consistency. Aside from Mystic Force which was just okay, I love the other seasons. Half of them were better than the Sentai they were made from (Ninja Storm, SPD and RPM) while the other half were still great shows and even improved upon certain aspects of the Sentai even if they were not better than them as a whole.
Disney Era was the Greatest!!!! Best Story Arcs, Fight Choreography, and even the Acting for Power Rangers was better. A lot of those Actors went off to other big shows, and movies.
I love a lot of power rangers and the thunder rangers and where just so cool. Love the crimson red and navy blue. God i forgot how much of a nerd I was about this stuff 😂
Disney is the neglected era? WTF, Disney era is the power rangers golden era. Ninja Storm had banger tracks, Dino Thunder had the GOAT rocking the mentor role(R.I.P JDF), SPD had a good story, whoever says that Disney was neglected is trippin
If you're a wrestling fan, the Disney Era is like the Ruthless Agreesion Era. Underrated and over shadowed by the more iconic eras Attitude Era/Golden Era which would be the mighty morphin period. Yet me being older seems to run into fans who are younger than me that much to my shock they first experience Power Rangers at Samurai or Megaforce.
I get the sentiment but you are wrong the post Zordon era lost galaxy light speed rescue time force is like that my problem with the Disney era is that it lost its campiness
@@capdiesel24 Disney can’t be the golden era it wasn’t the most successful and didn’t have the cultural impact. Like the title of your video it’s forgotten. Was it the best written maybe but that’s a low bar it’s power rangers known for its cheese and camp

1:36 brazilian here, man that shit was awful, my family were good, wealthy, but not to the point of paying international cable. I remember that for some reason, every 3 months or so, Jetix would "open on national cable" on a random channel number for like 3/4 days, and that was enough for me to have access to Power Rangers, that was 2006, so I was able to watch SPD, Dino Thunder, Ninja Storm, etc. And another famous channel here called Globo had the rights to Time Force and Wild Force until 2007. that used to be my means to watch the Rangers, and thinking nowadays we can just search any season and find easily is so insane!!!
peoples abilities to watch this stuff at different times is so interesting, cause it can change your whole perspective. thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
I thought the Disney seasons were the most popular, I guess that goes to show I don't know much about the Ranger fanbase haha. But I know a lot of people loved RPM, though I myself have very fond memories of watching SPD, I loved that series!
I mainly grew up with the Disney era of power rangers ninja storm all the way to jungle fury started with reruns of light speed rescue going into time force was awesome had the original movie and trubo on VHS the Disney era of power rangers shouldn't be ignored in the slightest they had they're good moments too mostly for my generation that grew up with toon Disney and jetex this spiderman x men gargoyles pucca super robot monkey team code loycko ❤❤
May you please do SPD personally that was the best season for me growing up and we actually had a good black red ranger 😂😂 (Nevermind watched your video it was pretty good)
The idea of the Disney era being neglected is baffling to me. It knocked it out of the park for 6 out of 7 seasons. I started with the OG MMPR and I’d ranked most of Disney seasons over a majority of the Saban seasons and all of the Neosaban seasons. For me, Ninja Storm and SPD are the goats of PR. The main negative of the Disney era is the slowmo wire fighting…but the matrix effect was wild on most of the media of the time.
@@capdiesel24 holy shit you responded well damn while we at it I know this is your shit but I would love to see a video with Dino and SPD (probably the two you were talking about) but also RPM if you ain’t check it out honestly is a underrated series I would dare say 11 in a top 10 list

I watched power rangers pretty much since the beginning and I probably stopped watching after operation over drive. Simply because I was graduating high school and going to college. I lost touch with the show for a while. I did pick up glimpses of the show here and there when Nickelodeon took over the show for a while with Power Rangers Samari and eventually Sabine took the show back with Mega force I think, I saw the Dino charge series and I have not had an opportunity to fully watch the last remaining seasons. I did however catch the Mighty Morphing Power Ranger special on Netflix. I hope they bring back a special for all of the Seasons eventually. By far, for me, some of my most memorable seasons in order that I can remember. Mighty Morphing, Turbo, Space, Time Force, Wild Force, Ninja Storm, which I believe was the start of the Disney error, Dino Thunder, SPD, Over Drive, Samari, Mega force, and Dino Charge. Some people may or may not agree with my favorite picks but let me say that there were some seasons in the power ranger run that did not appeal to me at all. I actually do remember losing interest after Zeo came out, but then they announced the Turbo movie, and I picked up interested again, partly due to because I was becoming a teenager at the time, and turbo was all about teenagers and cars. The show grew up with me, and I am glad it did.
I’ll never get over the fact that the only thing Hasbro got around to doing for Ninja Storm was a retro Ninjakon figure that nobody (in their right mind) wanted. It’s so cruelly ironic that the only representation of my favorite (and admittedly first) season got was a retro retread of a non-canon, toy-only repaint of an MMPR character. There’s like 3 separate layers of insult to injury, there! I wish nostalgia blindness for MMPR wasn’t the driving force behind PR’s continued existence, but I guess maybe I should just be thankful that there are enough open-wallet-ed Mighty Morphin’ marks out there to potentially pave the way for some eventual new Ninja Storm merch. I still hate them, though. It feels like there’s nobody else to blame for the salt coursing my veins…
@@scooda it also kind sad that they don't even bother giving teams some collaboration with other franchises. Ninja Storm would definitely vibe with teenage mutant ninja turtles but NOO.... we have to get to mighty morphin
The only thing I don't agree with you on is the title subject. The Disney Era is not neglected. At all LOL they all have many cults of people having one of those seasons being their favorite. Dino Thunder is one of MY favorites 🤣 and anytime I talk about Power Rangers lore with someone, they talk about the Disney Era being their favorite period
I think I was 1 year old watching MMPR, and then grew up with the rest of the Saban series. I stopped watching after Wild Force and only caught Ninja Storm and SPD on ABC Family, but then anime became huge and I stopped watching all together. It wasn’t until NickToons marathoned the Disney era of the show did I grow to love those series. Ninja Storm, DinoThunder, SPD, and RPM are the best of the franchise to me. The show isn’t filmed like a kids show. Those looked like actual TV shows. And the acting and dialogue is better than the Saban seasons.
There are 3 reasons why i can't call the Disney era the best PR era: Space, Lost Galaxy, Time Force. The only season that can compete on that level is SPD and maybe, big maybe, RPM. After that, yeah, the Disney Era has Overdrive and Mystic Force as bad seasons but the Saban era has Zeo, Mighty Morphin S3 and Turbo's first half. When you compare the other seasons in the eras, yeah Disney has better stuff, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, and Jungle Fury are far better than Mighty Morphin S1 and 2, Lightspeed Rescue and Wild Force. Still, Space, LG and TF are the peak of PR, it's undeniable.
i never knew about might morphin for a while cuz my first intro to the rangers was Wild Force which i thought was the coolest thing ever. then when i realized it was over and there is a whole new team who are NINJAS i lost it. then dinosaurs? i didn't even know who tommy was in the series or his significance till 10 years later lol. my entire power rangers exposure was from wild force till mystic force and i'm really happy i got to experince that diversity in teams and settings, specially when i realized many of the older ones were the same team just rotating different members everytime with tommy and the red ranger staying for multiple series, i'm not a fan of that
"DLC Rangers" is the best term for the extra rangers I've ever heard

Thanks so much for watching the video and telling everyone about your experience!! If you’re looking I’d recommend giving SPD a watch. I’m working on the script for that season and should hopefully have the video done in a week or two!
@@capdiesel24 I've been meaning to watch SPD for a goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood while and I don't know WHY I never did it! Like, I really like the suits (from what I can see) and the police thing going on. I'll do it right now, before I forget! Thank you very much for replying and suggesting! I'll be waiting for your video!!
I dig your copy of Tensa Zangetsu!
I like all three eras but if we’re talking favorite season then definitely time force for me
I’m going to be rewatching that season at some point I remember good things about it!
Disney Era was the Greatest!!!! Best Story Arcs, Fight Choreography, and even the Acting for Power Rangers was better. A lot of those Actors went off to other big shows, and movies.
I dunno, I think the Saban/Fox Kids Era had the better acting.
@@ShockwaveFPSStudioshell no lol acting only got good until in space
i need to go down the rabbit whole to see what other roles the cast has been in!
8:21 He has ninja costume. He uses a Ninjato sword and has a ninja shuriken on his face. But Disney wanted to call him Samurai for some strange reason
I love a lot of power rangers and the thunder rangers and where just so cool. Love the crimson red and navy blue.
God i forgot how much of a nerd I was about this stuff 😂
Welcome home
Wild force, ninja storm and Dino thunder was my era. Peak PR
I started with samurai but I spent most of my time watching the goated Disney era
i love you and this channel lol nun weird but you got a new sub
Nothing weird about it!! The kind words mean more than you know a lot of work goes into the channel so I’m happy to know you enjoy everything!!!
at 11:20 you read my favorite off but wild force too
Disney is the neglected era? WTF, Disney era is the power rangers golden era. Ninja Storm had banger tracks, Dino Thunder had the GOAT rocking the mentor role(R.I.P JDF), SPD had a good story, whoever says that Disney was neglected is trippin
I think he means neglected by Saban and hasbro more so Saban
It was well done but people definitely don't discuss it as often imo. THANKS FOR WATCHING!!
I can see where you’re coming from my only pushback would be that I think this era is actually the golden era
@@capdiesel24 Disney can’t be the golden era it wasn’t the most successful and didn’t have the cultural impact. Like the title of your video it’s forgotten. Was it the best written maybe but that’s a low bar it’s power rangers known for its cheese and camp
@@pleaseshutup7053 speaking purely from a quality aspect. they were better written better fights etc. The best product is the golden era to me at least
I still have my crimson and navy ranger figures ❤💙 I love their more samurai inspired shoulder pads .
Love this season. As far as I'm concerned, it, Dino Thunder and Jungle Fury are the peak of Power Rangers
We add in SPD and I’d agree
@@capdiesel24 I'll be real, I liked SPD but I didn't watch it nearly as much as the three mentioned. Still perfectly valid tho
@@connorharnage6697 I feel you. I appriciate the view and comment on the vid!!
I thought the Disney seasons were the most popular, I guess that goes to show I don't know much about the Ranger fanbase haha. But I know a lot of people loved RPM, though I myself have very fond memories of watching SPD, I loved that series!
I thought the same to fit a awhile
Ninja Storm slapped fr fr, but why PR Samurai showing up as a disney season tho
Editor mistake lol
Appreciate ya for watching!!!
Looking back it feels like the Disney Era PR seasons really did their best to adapt key aspects from their respective Super Sentai origins.
I wonder, are there rangers related to each other like Cam Watanabe from Ninja Storm and Mia Watanabe from Samurai?
That would be dope if they were
Overdrive is extremely underrated in my opinion. My favorite season out of all
Amazing Video! Are you going to make a video on Dino Thunder?
Thank you!!! And that’s the plan I have SPD getting edited now Dino Thunder is going to get made after that
May you please do SPD personally that was the best season for me growing up and we actually had a good black red ranger 😂😂 (Nevermind watched your video it was pretty good)
Appreciate it ! Yeah had to get on SPD ASAP. I’m probably either doing Dino Thunder or jungle fury next.
Ninja Storm and my goat Dino Thunder are so good
The idea of the Disney era being neglected is baffling to me.
They just aren’t as popular as the other series and Disney barely promoted it
Yeah unfortunately Mighty Morphin is usually the first that’s spoken of when I bring up power rangers in discussion
4:02 That photo's not Jeremy Sweet, it's Ron Wasserman..
Easily the most overlooked seasons of power rangers when they are low key the best seasons of the franchise.
You know I know!! THANKS FOR WATCHING!!
Ninja Storm is one of my favorites
Every Disney season is good in some way minus operation overdrive.
Yeah Overdrive just wasn't it for me either.
@@capdiesel24 The team quit and everyone was unlikable!
At least we got “Once a Ranger”
@@gustavoalmanza2673 That made the current team looks horrible because their lost their powers and gave up!
And mystic force
I miss jetix 😢
Same!!!
Ninja storm is the blade of this era to me
I can see it I’m not mad at that
@@capdiesel24 holy shit you responded well damn while we at it I know this is your shit but I would love to see a video with Dino and SPD (probably the two you were talking about) but also RPM if you ain’t check it out honestly is a underrated series I would dare say 11 in a top 10 list
@@capdiesel24 oh and DLC rangers is officially the new term for me when talking about the extra rangers I appreciate that
@@KnotGulty yeah man i try to respond to the comments as much as possible this is just the first time I've had this many to look through lol. but yeah SPD is getting edited right now and should hopefully be out in a week. My goal is to get through all the disney shows it just takes a little time cause I'm legit rewatching most of these season and writing these scripts for these videos. I appreciate the comment my guy truly.
@@KnotGulty Glad i could help lol
Dino Thunder, spd and mystic force easily the best power ranger Disney shows
I watched power rangers pretty much since the beginning and I probably stopped watching after operation over drive.
My favorite series is Dino Thunder. White rangers suit was intimidating.
Yeah you’ll have to most likely find talented artist on Etsy to make the merch and toys you want from that era
@@scooda it also kind sad that they don't even bother giving teams some collaboration with other franchises. Ninja Storm would definitely vibe with teenage mutant ninja turtles but NOO.... we have to get to mighty morphin
I feel the same way about the Kobe era of Basket ball but yea NS was a real good season
Another similarity that Cam has to Tommy is that they both have a musical instrument/weapon they use to summon a zord
Great video
Good, for this video, I Like Power Rangers Ninja Storm.
Glad you enjoyed!!!
I fr just finish my rewatch of Ninja Storm!! Perfect timing!!
Glad I could be of service lol
I think I was 1 year old watching MMPR, and then grew up with the rest of the Saban series. I stopped watching after Wild Force and only caught Ninja Storm and SPD on ABC Family, but then anime became huge and I stopped watching all together.
It wasn’t until NickToons marathoned the Disney era of the show did I grow to love those series. Ninja Storm, DinoThunder, SPD, and RPM are the best of the franchise to me. The show isn’t filmed like a kids show. Those looked like actual TV shows. And the acting and dialogue is better than the Saban seasons.
Ninja Storm is my second favourite PR season after Might Morphin
Ninja storm and Dino Thunder are my favorite seasons
They are the best power rangers fr
Fun fact: Cam is the 2nd and last green sixth ranger. Tommy being the 1st (DUH!).
Green Ranger was my first taste of good Booking! 📐
Here's a sub and like, man. Gimme more!🔥♾️
Appreciate that my man the sod video is in progress
dis my favorite season !
i never knew about might morphin for a while cuz my first intro to the rangers was Wild Force which i thought was the coolest thing ever. then when i realized it was over and there is a whole new team who are NINJAS i lost it. then dinosaurs? i didn't even know who tommy was in the series or his significance till 10 years later lol. my entire power rangers exposure was from wild force till mystic force and i'm really happy i got to experince that diversity in teams and settings, specially when i realized many of the older ones were the same team just rotating different members everytime with tommy and the red ranger staying for multiple series, i'm not a fan of that
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Same i think i started watching with ninja storm then got a vhs for PR Turbo!
