my lumenock has all kinds of teeth marks on it. i dont carry an arrow puller when i am hunting. i like my knock to be real tight. i have had looser ones shut off when it hit the leg bone on the opposite side.
I have several older Alpha lighted nocks but one question, my nocks light up when I try them by bumping them but when they come out of the crossbow they dont work! Im shooting a Tenpoint Turbo S1. Ive shot 4 times this season and lost 3 bolts, 2 were kill shots at 15 yards and 2 were misses but one of the two misses went into a tree and nock was not lite.
That's really weird! Im not sure why they would light up when pushing the nock by hand but when shooting they don't turn on. So is it the older one with the light sticks that you can pull out? Maybe the light stick button is too loose and bounces back off when shot?
Dang, I don’t know the solution to that issue! We’ve sold a ton of those nocks and I haven’t heard of this before. Either try different nock caps and light sticks or possibly make the plunge to their new alpha HP system. Sorry I couldn’t help more!
For my Ten Point I use my teeth. I don’t usr plyers if I use my teeth. I use my two fingers also and I always look if it twisted. nope it has to line up with the line on your arrow and nock. that tool you are using I use that just to pull the air out, when I’m shooting the Broadhead . with a fuel point, you can pull it out or just two fingers. I guess I’ve never tried that. Every knock is different though if you pull the whole damn thing will come out.
@ well one thing with Ten Point the aluminum inserts have a groove for lining up your knock. But you don’t want to twist them left or right because it could hurt the work of a lighter knock.
@ kind of funny I used to make my own arrows around the country for everybody. I was no company at all. I just do it on the side job besides my regular job and the cop feather I’d always lineup just by my eyeball but then again that was for compounds and you never did glue them in. If you make your own arrows, it’d be nice without the aluminum insert so we can just go ahead and put your veins on or feathers, but for crossbow veins are better. It be easier to line up your aluminum insert with the groove lined up with your cock feather, I mean cock vein
Tenpoint makes an arrow puller with a nock tool on the flip side! Works great!
There you go! Ravin makes one for their bolts too! Seems like each crossbow manufacturer makes there own.

If it works, that's all that matters! Thanks for checking out the video and good luck this season!
Nice video!
Thanks Greg! Glad you enjoyed it!
Turning the nock off starts at 2:30

@@farmsteadoutdoors Yep its the older style with the sticks and they all seem tight, all the o rings are there etc.

Will this work with lumenoks?
This will work perfectly with the lumenoks! Highly recommend!
@ Just bought a lumenok extinguisher and my molars thank you for the advice!

The teeth trick can work but you just have to make sure everything is lined up and it already sounds like you're on top of that! So thats good!

I just pull straight out with my fingers
I know tenpoint nocks you can pull out with your fingers but it’s those ravin nocks that are a little more difficult.
