Well, dressing in black feels like an expression of the shadow self. And when dressing results in darker apparel I find that it is because I have submitted to my subconscious with whom wishes to express its light of day.

Black, especially black clothing, provides me a blank slate on which i can examine the colors of my Self more easily. Both outwardly and inwardly. Wearing black feels heavy in a comforting way, like a weighted blanket around my shoulders, or a tight hug - stabilizing, grounding.

From my studies its no a wise thing to wear black all the time: Although the fact that Black can absorve energies easily, the same still applies for dense energy. You gotta remember that those energies can soak in overtime, sometimes being difficult to remove.
