Looks like a whole lot of fun, probably made from spares from other projects. So much venom in the comments, seems like a lot of fun.. is that frowned upon these days?
@@jackflores4703 what is it with you and bathtub meth? You gave that answer on a couple of comments, here in this video. But I'll bet, this guy and his bathtub meth lab (as you keep supposing about), has more automotive knowledge & fabrication skills than you'll ever possess. Looks like some old school or government building is now missing about 50' of handrail somewhere. LOL Still pretty damn badass. It doesnt have to look good it just has to work. \m/
68 Olds 425+Rusty old frame+4 barrel Holly carb+2 Mickey Thompsons+1 car seat+ 1 Mack truck steering wheel+60feet hand rails+ 1 retired welder/bored husband- 1 car body-any kind of safety devices+high test gasoline= WTF were thinking, straight up insanity. Mark.
I did that with a 1950 chevy truck, and it had ancient army 4x4 drivetrain. The cab rusted loose so just removed it and mounted a seat on the frame. Made a small engine powered winch on the back to tow in logs. Took it camping back in the wilderness once, across rivers and through mud and rock piles. But I abused it and broke it so bad I finally gave up fixing it and parted it out.
A friend of mine built what he called the 'Cadiddle' back in 1967-ish. It was a Cadillac of course, basically cut in half lengthwise, welded back together, now maybe 8-10 feet in length. Horrible ride with that short wheelbase. Had something like a 440 or 454 GM big block. It would do wheelies in a heartbeat. I drove it once, I almost flipped it! This car is definitely longer and weaker.
I see it is equipped with that Armstrong steering unit. I hope you guys kept that 425 around, that is a hell of an old mill and getting harder to find. Forged guts in those.
you can see at around :16 he put a much bigger fuel line hose to feed the carb, and had to pinch the crap out of it with a clamp. death trap waiting to burst into flames. don't ask me how i know that.
He is always building stuff like that. He got side ways when it ran over some water that had blew out of the radiator. It was so funny , we called it the "water pipe rail job". The original video is a little longer but this one has most of the good stuff.
I know it's still running to rich, any idiot can see that. It's safer to run rich then lean, I'm sure he jetted it to big to be on the safe side... But he did it because of the open pipes. Fuck off.
Haha, what a fantastic piece of shit. Looks like fun. Everyone in the comments needs to chill out. There's absolutely a time and a place for Model S sophistication. This ain't it.
Pretty judgmental crowd. Looks like fun, obviously not intended to be a show car but so what? Sometimes the cheap thrills are the best. I would consider wearing a helmet because that thing breaks loose pretty easily. Thanks for sharing.
Looks crazy and dangerous... I want it!
425 from and olds, and a steering wheel from the Titanic.
and the exhaust too!!
WOW That looks dangerous...... Can I have a turn?
Yeah, lemme try it too!
I bet the neighbors love this guy..he fires up the munster mobile and fish tails up and down the street and parks it again till tomorrow
Witness Me as i ride into Valhalla
WITNESS MEEEE!!!!!!
That’s a good one
Just add silver spray paint!!!
Shiney and chrome
Holy fuck bro. Best comment ever! I'm fucking dying over here 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I don't see any venom. people seem to think it's pretty cool.
i think he needs a bigger steering wheel
sultanofthesands1 no shit that thing is HUGE
sultanofthesands1 And a bigger brain to go with that steering wheel LOL 😆
Rusty Climber Dammit why did I think of that 🤔
Think he needs one more paps blue ribbon beer an a pain 💊 pill....lol a roll cage wouldn't hurt....
Love that ol' skool "power steering"...
THIS, is the ONE AND ONLY Machine, that would possibly compliment a set of truck nutz
When you tweak and have access to a junk yard this is the result.
Some thing tells me there is some bath tub meth around there some where

God I love this I’m dead
Heck I’d do this in a heartbeat. Looks really fun. Just needs a bit of work.
Now THAT'S a proper hot rod, nice build :)
Really ?? It’s actually retarded

Absolutely rite .
Git-r-dun. Yee haw!!
She’s beautiful
You had me at death trap! Just love this car.
That roll bar is a hoot
Looks like some fun as long as that engine don’t end up in your lap.
The guy is just having fun. And occupying himself in a rather cool way. I dig it. Not everyone fits the mold.
All is good, he has a roll bar made from exhaust pipe
that looks like a pretty solid roll cage lmao
duhh it is
It will support the weight of the car, no worries 👍
Why can't I have neighbors like this? My neighborhood is boring.😷🍺
That looks so sketchy. I wish he was my neighbor so I could take for a spin!! Awesome

I'm sure the neighbors LOVE this guy !!!! "We don't need no stinkin' power steering" (notice no belt on pump @0:35)
In the 70's everybody on a back road in my area of Michigan was building and driving junk like this,oh how I miss those days.
I absolutely love it !!
we must have an update please
nitrious

Reminds me of when I was in my teen's back in the early 90s we built one like this we used a 250 inline six out of a maverick.
This has Mad Max all over it.
Nice home made buggy 10/10 😂
Roll bar looks like a breakaway model, if you know what I mean.
Love it! It reminds me of a Road Warrior machine....Be safe down there...
I love it during the second burn out there just as much smoke coming out the radiator as the tires
Cool machine
If you crash in this, you don't die, you just go straight to heaven. That quick!!!
The steering is made from a drive shaft and the drive shaft is made from a steering column .. LOL
I mean we got to give the guy some credit he built the most Genki dragster I've ever seen
DAM it even smokes up front!!!!!😂🤣
Outstanding ! We need more people to do this!!!!

Sounds like the car from HL² :D
Nice work! Would love to drive this!
Wow ! Looks like a lot of fun , even has his own track amazing , from Joey in Honolulu , Hawaii , Aloha 😎
You scratched my mailbox!
I see it is equipped with that Armstrong steering unit. I hope you guys kept that 425 around, that is a hell of an old mill and getting harder to find. Forged guts in those.
I like how he backs it up onto the street and immediately does 2 burnouts.
This world never ceases to amaze and inspire me.
the smile on your face at the end says it all! haha LOVE IT
I would have a ball driving that!!! I'd call it The Widow Maker.
looks GREAT TO ME !!
Love that sound
Looks like he would be a fun neighbor!
Like that the Cable Guy has safety in mind with the roll bar and all.
lol! definitely a death trap 😂 well done sir!
that thing's fucking awesome about 20 years ago I built a three wheel trike like that
lol...lets put it away before the cops come
The cops are still coming for sure
Impeccable craftsmanship.
With a better rollcage and some suspension work that thing could be the prototype for a new super low budget dirt modified class.
I don't think it would pass state inspection or i'd make him an offer...
I bet the neighbors just love it too.
Your neighbors must love you.
you can see at around :16 he put a much bigger fuel line hose to feed the carb, and had to pinch the crap out of it with a clamp. death trap waiting to burst into flames. don't ask me how i know that.
3/8 fuel line on 5/16 fitting.

Priceless!
Dam, I didn't know Larry the cable guy was a stunt driver. :)
Not sure if that roll bar is DOT certified
GM never failed me once
Neighbors are a pain,, glad I don't have any! I build a lot of car projects too, have for 47 years now.
3x I love old recommended videos 😍
Youll always find someone with the parts to drive the BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got mine!

Oh boy...genius is timeless.... and the sense of that Roll Bar is to save your melon from the smasher???? This Hick's time must be over by now!!!!
Nuckin FUTZ!.........Love it!
love it mate good job!
That thing was running way way rich
***** Someone doesn't know how to adjust and jet a Holley.
I bet he turned it rich or jetted to big for the open headers. Running open headers makes the engine run lean.
Ian Thompson It's still too rich for open pipes.
I don't think you know anything about jetting carbs, you're just chiming in to be chiming in.
Buelligan88 Probably just a junkyard setup and they don't know how to tune it proper so they left it. Better rich than lean anyway lol
I know it's still running to rich, any idiot can see that. It's safer to run rich then lean, I'm sure he jetted it to big to be on the safe side... But he did it because of the open pipes. Fuck off.
that steering wheel lol :,D
This is where mad max begins lol... i know what im doing when my crown vic dies. :)
Perfect video to show my kids when I preach to them to stay in school.
I would figure it's insanely fast because it has no weight. Would make a great strip car.
Its good to get back to the basics every now and again.
Wow, this is amazing, props mate.
Death Strap has a nice corporate PR ring to it.
I could see this rolling through a Mad Max movie! Badass!!!
Roll bar looks legit 💀😭🤣😂

I would also consider strengthening that rollbar
just beautiful plain simply beautiful
That thing doesn’t even need an engine to be a death trap...
hell yeah!
awesome!
Needs a bigger wheering steel.
mad max eat your heart out-super cool:-)
Only thing missing is to weld the spider gears put a cup holder for beer and put a set of paddle tires and flag and lets go do some wheelies!
swear to god that better be in the next mad max film..I like your buddies dad...doing sketchy burn outs in the street my kinda guy
Boys and there toys!!! Awesome
Hey man, can you please post the uncut version of this video? I've been waiting months to see the whole thing!
So This is where Cletus Came up with the "Leroy"
That's a good one.
That is so epic!!!!
looks like something out of the MAD MAX movie, looks great
Im not sure that roll bar would do much... sick!
Nice build!
