Hi Mark! Been watching you for a while now from Thailand, I'm originally from just outside of Wigan, been in Thailand for going on 17 years. Back in the UK in October for only the second time in the 17 years, will be in Blackpool for three nights so see Jane McDonald and some other shows. Love the videos, brings back many great memories, holidayed in Blackpool every year with my parents and visited many times throughout the years, I love seeing what is going on! Lots of great info too. Thank you!!!!

Really sad to say after 40 years holidaying at least twice a year in blackpool , we have decided as a family to stop . Its been going downhill for years and now the grandkids dont want to go theres no point . The reasons are the shabbiness of the prom compared to resorts like skegness, Scarborough, many more, the backstreets are just slums nowadays and the weekend drunks are horrendous . Its a sad time for me but will watch your videos and hope for signs of improvements . Till then bye blackpool .
Unless you stay out of the way up in North shore.
And keep yourself to yourself.
The weekends can be very rowdy.
The problem is like every town.
And I would be the same you need people to spend money.

Hi mark the weather in Blackpool is awful we are in July all your videos are great in Blackpool it is always windy in Blackpool where cocker street is in I like the little street called Francis street is lovely little street is not normal seeing it in blackpool such a nice Street and some hotels seem closed it must a quiet week I would be opened if it was me not good seeing hotels closed the hotels that open are the ones that always busy and the best ones hopefully when the schools break up for the summer holidays it will be busy nice to see the council spending money on the Metropole it's a shame it is not opened to the public the promenade looks really quiet mark it looks like winter out there it should be getting better weather for July you do a great job out in Blackpool in all weathers thanks mark take care from Keith
The council aren't spend your money on the Metropole the Metro pole is.

Allways wingy on the coast of any coutry that has 1. Watch holiday adds on coat = wind.
Lots of indoor stuff to including. Tower, Sand Castle, 1 of the bigest indoor water parks. +++.

Sorry to say after being a holidaymaker to Blackpool for the last 40 years , as a family we've decided not to visit anymore , the reasons are , the prom is shabby compared to other coastal resorts , the backstreets are horrendous and more like slums , the drunks at the weekends are shocking . My grandkids hate going now . Will continue to watch your vids to see if things improve in the future . End of an era for us .

Crikey, Nth Pier could do with a lick of paint. Almost like Blackpool Council are actually encouraging people NOT to visit the town.
It is a little bit tatty but it's privately owned.
The same owners own all three peers.
They don't seem to spend a lot of money on North Pier I've noticed

Hope the guy was ok in the end. He looked desperate, homeless and probably stole a sandwich because he was hungry. The Police should have taken him next door and got him on a free all inclusive at The Metropole Hotel
It turns out he was wanted.
Innocent till proven guilty.
What it was an incident happened two hours previously

Hi mate asking advice I know morcambe isn’t far from Blackpool what is it like for a family don’t know if you’ve ever filmed it .
It's very quiet a lot of shops are all closed up there is not a lot going on.
I'm not being negative in this comment.
But I have friends who live there and I do watch videos up there.
It depends what you want.
It's worth a one-day visit and walk around but I don't think there is a much to do up there at all.
That's my honest opinion
