Thats the way to do it. Water on 28 secs from the first pump coming to a halt.

From the time of arrival until water was on the fire 🔥 was 30 seconds. That is amazing!!! 🤩
I wish American firefighters 🚒 could do that. They usually spend 5 minutes or more getting hoses out and putting gear on.

They don't use high pressure hose reels that are pre connected to the main pump via a third stage and is already charged with water which allows getting to work quickly, American firefighters tend to use pre connected flaked hose which has to be charged with water and kinks in hose removed before showing water which takes extra time. They use larger diameter hose initially for higher volumes of water.

I agree. However I'm guessing their Biggest Priority was putting out the vehicle fire and stopping it from spreading.

@@Cumbria999 Not really an excuse, breathing in that stuff is a one way ticket to cancer or health issues.

@@staffsemergresp That's True. Their Response time was around 3 Minutes from the Intial Call and the fact it took till the 3rd Firefighter for a BA Set to be In the Mix is a slight concern.

I recall the days when we didn’t have BA, now almost 80 and still here to tell the tale.
