For goodness sakes, so many of these short stories should absolutely be full, feature films. The potential is tremendous and there is such a vast richness of material to work with. The necessity of the short story to so be a full film almost makes the current product mediocre in its incompleteness and lack of potential. Someone expand some of these short films. We desperately need them.
Agreed. It actually ends up being so frustrating and unsatisfying. Instead of a hamburger, the hungry viewer only gets the bun.

👬 🏳️🌈 The two dark haired guys are a better match for each other, and I was hoping they would be together. The light haired guy didn't seem like he could be in a committed relationship with anybody.
The fact that the two guys that Eli was seeing ended up together and left Eli out alone like that made me really jealous
I dunno if I have ever felt so much jealousy, vicariously via a short series before. WTF that was a powerful twist that was unpredictable but still felt realistic enough to not lose your immersion + kick your empathy in the balls.
This should absolutely be a movie the writers have the talent hope they get something out one day.

Good job! I really liked the boyfriend and the fiancee. I struggled with the main character... only because, like a lot of us, his overthinking hits too close to home. I wonder where you are going to take this? Does he find love? It looks like he needs a grounding force... so who are you going to bring in?

I love fragmented stories.
Eli reminded me so much of Carrie Bradshaw of Sex And The City. While Carrie is the female version ranting non-stop about her love life and selfishness. Here, Eli is the male version of Carrie. But instead of ranting aloud, Eli ranted mostly internally that actually hurt himself mentally. Too much thinking and hesitant without proper firm decision. No thanks to his 3 breaths.

If introducing your partner to your gay friends ends up in a cheating disaster, then you either have bad taste in friends or you have become the victim of gay culture where every friend is a potential sex partner. This was so toxic on so many levels. How does the main character have the audacity to cheat on his bf and then after he catches him, have the guy he’s been cheating with still around? And why would the returning bf be like, “oh, you’ve been sleeping with this guy for about a year while I’ve been gone and he’s even asked for your hand in marriage, but that’s totally fine. I’m not too upset or anything.” And the third guy who wants to marry the main character, why is he mostly fine with the love of his life lying to him about having broken up with his current bf? And on top of that kicks him out to let his returning bf back in his apartment. He’s still in a relationship with his Barcelona bf! What are you doing! Unless this was some type of open relationship, then I could begin to understand this bizarre behavior, but from what was shown, it was neither mentioned nor clearly implied.

These characters have no self-respect or standards. I honestly couldn’t relate to, or sympathize for any of them, except to feel sorry for what they are willing to accept and pass as a relationship and love. Relationships founded on lies and cheating are bound to fail to those same qualities.

eeemmm nooo noooo nono... no es por ahí, esto es todo lo que esta mal en una historia de amor... no hablemos del cliches ni de la cursilería obvia de las historias románticas y la idealización exagerada de las mismas, comenzando con que los actores, aunque malos, son super hegemónicos y están puestos ahí a propósito con el solo objetivo de vender la historia (como se hace todo el tiempo en el país que le dio origen)... me refiero a situaciones en si y a diálogos que si se llegan a dar, cortan toda posibilidad de erotización entre los personajes... el amor no se ruega o existe o no existe... Si a mí venís a rogar per sé ya me deserotizaste... Un poco de amor propio porfa

I think Eli made a BIG mistake!
I thought it was funny, with a good plot. However, when they kissed, it felt awkward and badly acted. Then I realized what was wrong, they are not gay and it felt stupid after that. Acting is about making sure that the actor convinced me until the end.
