Great video! Love our RV oven! I cook in it every chance I get. We travel with NO appliances, so this is it. Cooking old-school. Pizza stones work, but I find that they crack, a lot! So now I cook with 2 pizza stones. Last October I made Shephard's Pie for us, and our neighbors, who smelled it and came over!
We make our pizza crust with spelt flower. I cook it in a 12 inch cast iron skillet which I preheat as the oven is preheating, then I cook the crust before adding the toppings. My daughter and I love this! If I ever get to go full time I think a large toaster oven in an outdoor kitchen would be a good way to be able to keep this tradition up! I like the rv kitchen cooking content!
I also use a magnet for my knives. I put the knives upside down so if they do shimmy down, the edge of the knives catch on the magnet which stops it from falling. Been doing this for over a year and none have fallen yet!
We love being full-timer..we've been full-time since 2020..it's a interesting challenge, both my husband and I love to cook..because of this we've been thinking of moving up to an alliance 395DS. Thank you for sharing on this subject..
That is awesome! That's a beautiful unit and we do love Alliance as a brand. Perfect, no... but they have surprised us with their service and attentivenes when we open help tickets, etc.
As far as your spice rack, i suggest you get one of your friends or followers with a 3d printer (or reach out to me) to custom make the rack to fit your needs. They are light weight and strong. Plus you can get it made in any color you want!
Great reminder, I do freeze them sometimes but they tend to get broken in the freezer. We usually eat them enough so I just started leaving them out. We do like a good quesadilla. lol
Great cooking ideas! Sounds so flavorful!! We use Naan flatbread for pizza crust, works well. Thank you and Safe Travels!
Loved this ! Great storage tips and plan on making the pork recipe. I hope you will do more like this ❤
Thank you! Will do!
Love the koozie tip!!!!

Great idea. Thx
Did you get a sigma oven with your alliance?
No, it's a Greystone. I'm not a fan. When it goes out, I'll get something with 4 burners, if I can fit it.
I write our shopping lists in pencil and as we shop we erase what we get
Nice!
Freeze your tortillas. They will last longer.
