    Bro I love this. I am working towards my blue belt now. It’s been the greatest new thing I’ve done in my life. It’s purely self protection for me. But while I’m doing it, it’s changing who I am in a good way. I’m in shape. Been working out for years. But not only is this physically challenging. It is very mentally challenging. Gracie Jiujitsu has been amazing and you are explaining the art here beautifully.
    AVOID THE FIGHT AT ALL COST.
    IF ATTACKED PROTECT YOURSELF.
    WHEN APPLYING SUBMISSIONS USE MINIMAL FORCE AND NEGOTIATE.

    Being a woman whose 5'1, it's helpful to have defensive skills especially when walking at night. Now, I never thought of using it inside the hospital, but just the training itself sharpens your mind and body. I have fast reflexes and my colleagues are always amazed by my strength in moving patients even though I'm so much smaller. So yeah, 100% recommend. Also, Great content and quality vids! you just earned another subscriber.

    All facts! Almost any position that deals with the public could benefit from training. I can 100% see why healthcare workers could use good control techniques that can prevent injuries to the person in healthcare and the patient. Why not add options to your tool belt? I don’t see a down side. Great video 🔥🔥

    I am medical student in one of the Eastern European contries. Been training boxing for almost 10 years. I wear mouthguard, helmet, I'm also trying not to engage in hard sparings. What do You personally think about potenitial brain/CTE damage, that boxing can cause? Or will You recomend some other MA? Thank You very much!

      Hey Deniss! Hope med school is treating you well. Ya that's a tough one. I enjoy training Muay Thai and have similar concerns. I think if we're solely focused on brain health, even getting hit lightly is probably not great. But having the information is important so that we can at least be aware, prioritize what's important to us, make tradeoffs, and ultimately accept whatever consequences may come our way. And obviously there are some things we can do to reduce or eliminate damage. I.e., light sparring rather than hard sparring, work technique & drilling only, or to not do it at all. Hope that helps!
