I really liked how Cabracan got in character and raged the entire second half of the match, props to the player and wp Sam!
As others have said, critcorn makes dash deal 35% more, but it still has your regular crit chance, so buying more crit helps it. I don't think it's worth going attack speed with it, just go full damage/crit and the dash+auto can deal like 1200. Don't need attack speed if they're dead in 3 autos. Something like jotunn's-hydras-deathbringer slaps.
Also breastplate glyph got buffed. For just 600 gold you can turn a 55 prot item into a 167 prot item. Doesn't work fully in duel obviously since the passive will never fully proc due to only fighting against 1 damage type, but that just means you'll always have the extra 28 prots from the first half of the passive. So for 600 more gold it goes from 55 prots to 83 permanently.
If you want to have the wockiest crit rat build that still smacks and is uber versatile try this:
Critcorn, jotunns, hastened, rage, deathbringer, whatever you want.
Oh and upgrade db to malice unless heavy shield meta opponents then go envenomed
Crit Rat is a guilty pleasure. Something about starting off right out the gate hitting crits feels great.
The amount of times I’ve gone this build and just steamroll mid. God, so op. You can one shot them off lvl 3 and just do it every single time they go mid. I once killed a kuku 14 times in 8 minutes.

@@blankblank yeah of course it works. its just difficult to have most of your damage on your getaway skill. and then if the enemy team has a brain they buy 2 spectrals and during late game team fights if you didnt steamroll the game by then you are a non factor.

thickbark is so slept on. Rat is a backline diving fiend with a bruiser thickbark build
You should go Crittatoskr and rush straight into Deathbringer first item (well, after acorn), before they have the chance to build defence, and watch they explode
Full crit is so fun on rat. I have ran the deathbringer upgrade that reduces cooldowns when you crit.
Crit dash-crit auto-stun-crit auto (obviously that's hopeful), but with hydras and deathbringer it really pops off
Honestly I’d LOVE to see the match against the toxic guy after the second game. Watching you slap guys who use toxic and cheap strats is the best
Sam, if you really want to go to the darkside with critcorn: Instead of going attack speed critcorn, you can abuse the cooldown from the malicious deathbringer with hydra's for those big meaty auto attack cancel crits. I guarantee your auto after your dash will be hitting about as hard

In regards to the crit acorn, I just wanted to say, this was Professor Ratatoskr's favorite(most fun) of the 4 acorns
@1:19:50 so about Sekhmet's not working... I think it might actually work. If you look at the cooldown timer for your dash when you hit Olorun with your 3, it jumped down a second. So it works? And maybe Vital Amplifier would work after all??
Counterintuitive since I'm pretty sure it _should_ count as healing from an item, rather than an ability. But maybe it's coded weird.
Worth the experiment.

The crit acorn gives you the chance to crit plus ncrease the damage of the dart by 35%. So with just the acorn it will crit 25% of the time because your crit chance is just 25%.

Titan's bane is great with crit acorn btw since you tend to open a fight with a dash-crit.

Ngl that last game reminded me of a video you made years ago, you played Cthulhu on the old map and built full HP with Blood Soaked shroud. You had Gaia, and every time the enemy knocked you up you shouted "Thanks for the Gaia proc NERD!" In conquest if you’re jungle go crit rat, healthy rat for solo (it’s slow but late game pops every time)

Challenge video idea: you play Gilgamesh with a bingo board and each spot on the board is an item Gilga can get with his passive. Winning the game puts a random spot on the board and losing removes a spot on the board. At the end of the game you see if you win (even if you get bingo, losing the game can remove the spot)

Crit rat in conquest will one shot w a dash and hydras auto late,late game. It’s that easy
Rat 2 shreds prots. This buffs your damage against structures. You can take phoenix faster if you 2 it
