I’m a native to the area and Tommy’s been a spot I used to frequent a lot in my childhood. Nowadays it ranks as my fourth favorite spot, just behind Alfie’s on Myrtle ave, Luigi’s on Atlantic ave and Romeo’s on Liberty. Tommy’s always hits the spot for me on those chilly Autumn and Winter days.
I’m trying to remember if Romeo’s was another spot I had as a kid. Have they been around a while? Also, glad to see a Queens native land on this video. Thanks for commenting!
Hi Gabriel, your Grandma might really like that pizza, too... I see it's steaming hot!... looks so good! I need to get out to these places someday. Looking forward to a 'Chicago style' reviewed in The Windy City sometime. The Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Co. is very unique... it's like an upside-down pizza potpie turned right-side-up.
Believe it or not, she had it back in the 90’s too because my family and I lived with my grandparents in Queens! I’m sure she’d love it now too! I don’t know what that is but it sounds so dang delicious! I added them to my list for a future Chicago trip. Thanks for the pointers!
Haha looks like damn good football pie to me. Looks like good cheese to sauce ratio. Nice crunch! Nonthing beats eating at one of your childhood pizza places !

I’m always looking for new pizza spots to hit up when I’m in NY, might try this out next time
You won’t be disappointed! The pepperoni was pretty tasty too!
My first and favorite pizzaria
Oh really? That’s so cool! You chose a good favorite
Nostalgia is best when it still tastes good. In that regard, the Vacation theme song playing over the sound system was the chef's kiss.
I didn’t even realize that theme was playing 😆 That’s awesome!

@@StarvingActorFoodReviews nice!
Their website is the business name and they show their upside-down trick on the homepage. So unique and good!
I’ll definitely be checking them out! I appreciate it, man!
I like a slice with a bit of grease. (Hello Pizza Hut) Pretty cool to visit a place you have not been to in decades. Cheers!
You’re not kidding! I love me some Pizza Hut! Especially back in the day when you could sit down and eat at one with a fork and knife 🍴 😂

That crunch of the end crust was so good and DIDN’T cut my pallet (always a winner)! I think you’d enjoy it any day of the week.
