Thank you for the great knowledge and advice 🙂 When I race I put my quad to 50hz and lock it and now with the new BF presets it's so damn easy to adjust the firmware ❤️

Hey Joshua, I've read your past posts about this not being an ideal idea(2 years ago). I've been running Xfireshot for years, but always Dynamic. Now, it's all you say you run. Has something changed technology wise? I'm in the process of switching to 4.3, but locked/forced 150kz has me worried lol. I just don't want to rip a bando and lose control. Could you ease my mind a little before I set my RC link in 4.3 to 150kz? Much love and thanks!

I recently tried the 150hz setup and the result was awful . Failsafe around 500m away and many Rf signal low alarms. Any other ideas?

    Thanks! 😊

Elrs 2.4 goes upto 500hz and most fly for long range at 250hz.
That's much faster than crsf at 50hz.
ELRS is very consistent so I don't think it'll have this issue.

if you look at it, its still stair-stepping on the way down, just not as bad as the other side. One of my quads has been having the same problem and i can't get rid of it, even after switching to 150hz locked and using the preset. All of my other quads run using dynamic perfectly fine, though.

So wouldn't 50 hz be best for every situation? and also should we turn off dynamic power on the tango??

Hi there! Really need advice! If I’ve locked my TBS radio to 150hz instead of dynamic, do I then need to go and apply the TBS 150hz preset in betaflight? TYIA JB! 🙏

Hi Joshua, I'm Jorge from Spain, my question is, when I set my rx nano crossfire to 150hz, I see the micro Tx led go from green to blue, and when I set it back to 50hz or Dynamic it turns green again, Is this so? Does the LED light turn blue when locked at 150hz? Thank you

same observation.. i think blue led indicates 100mw of power..

How much will this impact the long range abilities?

May i ask how i set the crossfire from dynamic to 150hz? Is it through the crossfire menu?

If it's similar to ELRS, here is how I would try.
I'm using the Tx16s, I press the SYS key > this brings me to the screen with all the protocols, select the one you're using.
That will open the Transmitter screen. (a loading bar appears at the top of my screen here)
In that screen, there should be options to change Frequencies, Power, Pit Mode, for you, I think this is where you can change to or from dynamic.
In that same screen, if you are bound to an Rx, there will also be an option to choose 'other devices' >
That will bing you to the options in the Receiver. (don't know if you have to be in Rx Page or Tx Page)
I don't use Crossfire, so I am just hoping that they are similar enough, where this can at least get you close enough to see what you're looking for.

Hi JB just looking at presets in BF4.3 got a bit confused which to pick …crossfire 50hz or 150h for a chimera 7” long range with crossfire diversity …

@@doncunningham3124 hi Don I decided not to lock crossfire to 150hz or 50hz just left it dynamic because your limited for range with DJI air unit anyway so you’ll always be able to out fly the video
I just enabled Mark Spats 7” preset in BF. 4.3 and left the rest at default no Crossfire preset
      Flys like a dream 😊👍

I'm also curious on this - why choose 50Hz or 150Hz? From the people I've consulted (more knowledgeable than me) the long range guys are saying 50Hz locked. Dynamic is not good and 150Hz is better for shorter range or racing? Thoughts?
