I low-key think other professional fighters are watching your channel and taking notes. There's no number you can put on how valuable this is.
Not lowkey, everyone definitely watching Vargas RUclips channel to get better at their game. Gabriel here is God sent
Big thanks to XMartial for sponsoring the episode. Check out their website for the t-shirt I'm wearing plus loads of other great gear.

Did u hurt ur wrist in training champ?
Ramsey Dewey is advertising same site isn't he? They have cool stuff
Just watched your Sitmonchai fight for the first time another masterclass. Love watching your different adjustments vs different opponents and your tutorials are second to none. Appreciated 🙏
The rules against clinch, elbows, and knees were implemented because those kill the ability to use combos. So, in kickboxing with the Thais being limited, you need to use those to your advantage.
Love these bxing tips, coach champ!!!
gabriel you're a great teacher your whole channel is pure gold
Awesome video! Having started kickboxing a few months ago, i've really come to appreciate your channel and breakdowns. I can see you stepping away from those push kicks, i can see you using that dutch style effectively, what a beautiful sport!
It really is beautiful. The aggressive side blinds many people from it but you see if once you start to understand the sport.
Amazing fight iq Gabriel. Respect!
Great work Gabriel. It's hard breaking down yr own fights and this was spot on did well showing us the game plan you used to beat a great Thai fighter. Your ability to take people out of their comfort zones is amazing and a huge part of yr success
We like you Gabe. Whatever you do in your videos will be cool either way champ
Loved this, I remember watching this fight. One fc last night , kaonar vs some daghestani reminded me of this. Too much volume in 3 rounds for the Thais and combos if they aren’t used to it
excellent strategy and explanation. thanks!
Great breakdown!
Great video champ 😊✌
Thanks 😁
Hi GV. This experience bodes well for your Karate Combat. 😃CHEERS
Thanks for this very detailed breakdown and sharing your strategy. It helps developing own fight IQ!
Can you do a video on "dirty boxing" techniques? Very interested in that
Dirty boxing
for sure. Love that style.
But I'm not teaching head butts 😉
Nice bruise on your left forearm! Thanks for the video.
I love the editing bro. Maybe I'll check out the gear.
Hi Gabriel thank you for the video would you use this strategy in a fight under Muay Thai rules? I’ve recently started to really enjoy that pocket range in my own training
With all due respect the main reason why you defeated Sitmonchai is that there were no elbows, clinching and sweeps.
This is so awsome how do you win these fights
When you're a novice martial artist like me fights like these look like the matrix, hopefully I can progress in good time.
Hey Gabriel!
Love the channel. I've been following you for a long time, and it is good to see you get the recognition you deserve for all those video's you've uploaded the past years. I want to suggest a future video for you to make, but you must understand that I don't want to disrespect you in anyway.
You've had a fight with Robin van Roosmalen, which you've lost. It was a TKO loss, but there is no shame in it, because Robin is a multiple weight world champion. Could you analyse what went wrong in that fight? KO losses seems like the worst way to lose. Is it possible to include what the different 'feeling' is after such a fight between a KO loss and a decision loss? Does it give you more hunger to train harder for the next fight? Or does it reduce hunger, and make you more introspective about the pathway of your carreer? Basicly: what are the consequences of losing by KO, besides the brain damage?
I think such a video can really help some fighters, especially those who are anxious to losing by KO. So, again, my suggestion is not to disrespect you, but more one suggestion out of curiosity.
Thanks Frits. I've actually made a video about my fight against Robin. I'll link it below.
I've never had a KO loss because against Robin my brother and I decided there was no point in fighting round 5 so we took the TKO loss. In that moment we were thinking about brain damage. Another couple knockdowns could be bad so take the loss and move on to a new fight. My motivation was still very high after that fight.

How did you condition your legs for taking leg kicks ? Is it something young fighters should be worried about ?
if you're serious and intending to go pro then I think every form of conditioning is important.
Lmfao thag clothing shout out was cringe as bcos of how serious you presented it. Like so direct 😂😭 "BUY IT NOW".
love yohr content btw but yeab them sponsored ads night lose ppl half way thru so definitely weigb out the risk vs reward 😂❤️ peace and love brother
That's a nasty bruise on your wrist! Hope you're ok
What would you choose muay thai or kickboxing?
He's got a really good video comparing the two!
ruclips.net/video/Nxkmth0CCrM/видео.html
muay thai.. most muay thai fighters that are actually good can go to kickboxing but most good kickboxers that go to kuay thai dont do to well
@@DCMAGIC101 I second that!
