    I am currently on my 3rd and 4th McLarens. I LOVE these cars. I have a 720 Spider and a 765 LT Spider. They have been outstanding performers, and very reliable. Previously I had a 650 Spider and a 600 LT Spider. By the way, I agree that they should have Apple CarPlay!

      @@mzainrabbani8016 I have been happy with the McLaren interiors. They are obviously not going to be a Rolls Royce. Designed for very light weight and simple modern style.

      @@ianmacpherson8042 Wow, I'm very impressed with your opinion, I don't hesitate anymore to buy the McLaren 720s coupe unit😃 because I saw several videos showing the issue of the McLaren interior panels that loosen easily, in my opinion it depends on how we care for and use it, and it's not at all the fatal thing, even my friends who own Ferrari have many problems with the interior carbon trim layer which peels off easily😥
      Oh yes mine is a 2011 E63 w212, at that time it was my first time playing a performance car, i took it because of the price cheap at the time and had a fairly large engine😁✌️ thank you so much sir🙏🏻

    Great video!
    After testing a Ferrari F8 and a McLaren 720s by myself, even if you consider the Ferrari usually looses less value over the years: Go for the McLaren, it is an outstanding car, absolute high tech (frame, suspension, state of the art display, infotainment from my point of view is great except car play ... just compare it with the features of a F8)..., daily driver if you like.
    And I would suggest to take a good used 720s into account. Usually if there have been issues with sensors or control devices, these have been sorted already by the dealer.
    Therefore there is nothing more add to the statement of this video.

      @@TCGRS Your numbers are the same I am taken into account. Still on factory warranty, but after that, it will be around what you have written. Porsche approved is cheaper, but the most high tech car is definitely the McLaren, worth every Penny, if I compare it with a 911, which I did and have had owned years ago.

  • @user-pn8dq6vt4s
    @user-pn8dq6vt4s 7 месяцев назад

    I think when people discuss depreciation, they are talking about what the dealer will give them on a trade-in, which is much lower. If a car depreciates 30% in 3 years, the dealer will probably try to offer you 50% off MSRP on a trade. Which is why I always consign.

    From what I've discovered, one issue is that the engine isn't very forgiving of reving when cold (if it's done repeatedly) before oil has warmed up and you need to check that the oil level is okay regularly as again lots of wear if the engine is reved hard without oil. But as long as you do basic maintenance you shouldn't have problems (more than any other car - if not less). 30% depreciation is pretty good but like you say alot of money on an expensive car. Not having carplay/Android auto is poor on a modern car, wonder if they have it on the 750 :-)! Unlikely to ever be able to afford one but would love to have a Mclaren if I could!

    I agree with everything you said. I have a 720s. My car is perfect. So many fake videos on RUclips. I use both my local mclaren dealer and an exotic car tech that comes to my house to do mods etc. he said without a doubt mclarens are without a doubt the most reliable supercar. Ferrari and lambos have a lot of problems. Guess that’s why the tech has not 1 but 2 mclarens in his garage.

    • @kinosgarage
      @kinosgarage Год назад +3

      Having owned several porsche GT cars, the reason their warranties are cheaper is because the cars share 60-+% parts with all the other 911’s and some other models in the lineup. They also build 30 times more 911’s than 720’s. The level of performance between the two are also worlds apart. The higher the performance the more maintenance a car requires. A highly specked 911 GT3RS (not 992 models) still costs 75-100k less than a 720S spider. The 458 is a bad example to compare from Ferrari, the 488 costs the same for extended warranty.
      Maintenance cost is slightly higher due to the complexity of the car and how many pieces have to be removed to maintain it at each interval. Add to that that a porsche dealership will service 1000’s of cars per month while the McLaren service department might see 80-100 at max.

    • @TCGRS
      @TCGRS Год назад +1

      @@kinosgarage Thanks for the well elaborated explanation! In your opinion is the 991.1 GT3RS better than the 458?I'm debating between the two. • @kinosgarage
      @kinosgarage Год назад +2

      @@TCGRS sound like doesn’t define a car, at least for me. The 458 and GT3RS couldn’t be anymore different in terms of literally everything. Two diff purpose built cars. Handling and back road feel, the GT3RS all day! In term of reliability, the RS hands down. Sound wise with an exhaust the 458 wins; however the RS with a center bypass would sound really good. Hair on the back of your neck… 720s will achieve that along with superior handling, steering response (best in the industry) and will overtake both cars without a sweat.
