I come from the land of LinkECU (I know that's a bad word around here) but I thank you for changing the way the menus work with the new "node" system it makes a lot more sense to me, I can't wait to try this new VCM would be cool to see a "club" version or cut down version for basic track/drift cars with fewer outputs/inputs to bring the cost down.

Thanks for sharing. I'm just starting to configure the Elite 2500 for a 2jz. I'm running a wideband 02 sensor through the CAN, but i cannot figure out how to assign it to the CAN. the old program i used adding devices tab and cannot find it on the ESP platform. Thanks
Interested in data logging and log viewing. I feel that the data log functionality on the elite series is lacking. The need to export a log before viewing, especially when exporting is slow, just kills usability. I want to be able to be street tuning, make a change, tail a live log to see a trace in higher resolution, then change some parameters, all without having to export a log. If it could be done within the same program, even better.
THIS! I love love love the way Infinity does this all in one program - all while datalogging EVERY channel that is operative. I sure hope the R5 can do this! It really cuts down time being able to scroll through the plot and see where on the calibration I was - live.
I am about to remove my Haltech ecu and replace with a modified stock ecu because of how dissapointed I am with the data logging on the Haltech NSP software. I mean, checking a log, then having to guess where on the map the area you want to change? Are we in the 90s? The hardware and basic firmware is great, powerful and lots of features, but the software to do anything with it is hopeless and frustrating. Spent 2.8k setting up my car with the Haltech and couldnt be more dissapointed.
We also accept livers and lungs as payments for the CAN Keypad and iC-7 just in case you were interested.... Seriously though, when you install yours send us some pix or tag us in a post, we'd love to see where all the R5s are getting installed:)
@@haltech wow! Haha that means a lot to me. I really put myself through struggle to achieve this result, and to be noticed by such a good company really helps me soldier on! :-)
If I'm running a mechanical fuel pump, but I'm also using an electric fuel pressure regulator, can I use the fuel pump setting on the R5 to send signal to the pressure regulator instead, and if so, can I rename the function to "fuel pressure regulator" instead of "fuel pump?"
In the ESP software at the main screen when you start the software and update option appears, you had the opportunity of check what is new in the software and firmware updates (The notes), now I want to check the notes of the updates of firmware in the NSP but I can´t find where... Where I can check the notes of each firmware update?
When an update is available a pop-up window will appear when you launch NSP explaining the update and prompting you to install it. Alternatively you can click on the "update" button (second from the left on the main menu bar). This button will turn green when there's an update available.
Does the Nexus R5 have all of the features of the 2500T? Self learning, traction control, etc??? Also, will it interface with an MSD Pro 600 CDI? Will it CAN communicate with an AIM dash, or only Haltech CAN dashes? Thanks.
no link to the nexus on haltech website in the description? just want to check prices but im assuming the thing will be out of my price range since i just spent like a year of savings on a elite 750 lol this thing is next level, im currently wiring in my 750 and re doing the whole body wiring too, this thing would make it so much easier
The Elite 750 is definitely not in the same league as the NEXUS R5. If Elite 750 ticks all the boxes for you then the R5 would be an overkill. Stay with the Elite 750 - it's a good unit and we are still going to support and develop the Elite series.
@@haltech thanks for that, yeah its a little overkill for my setup, but i can defenatly see the benifits of this system over the elite series for more serious builds. it will eliminate so many common issues people have when wiring cars, and even relays and stuff can add up when re doing an entire car, this makes everything so much more simple, hopefully after a few years of development you will have different levels of nexus to offer like the elite series? for people who only need 1 wideband, 1 knock circut, less IO like the injector and ignition outputs? but still incorpirate the body control stuff.
