I literally assumed twilighters were grandparents raising their children’s babies 🤣
I thought something similar. But, definitely referring to "twilight years". Although, I now remember hearing about the movies a few years ago.
I love the sound of rain.
Peace & Blessing’s Heidi
I've been to Forks a few times. I love it up there. I'm originally from Longview, Wa, but am now living up on the Arctic Circle in Norway. Being up here has been an experience and kind of different in preparing, more like Alaska. Short growing seasons, sudden huge storms, snow and ice, but the midnight sun helps with the short growing season although quite different in what we can get to dehydrate. They have never heard of canning up here, so my little dehydrator has become my best friend when it comes to storing.
Thank you Heidi. You are a great teacher !! I just took my first batch of Chocolate Emergency Food Ration Bars out of the oven. Haven't tasted yet but they smell good and I think my picky sister may even try them. I don't have the ziploc mylar bags yet so this batch will be eaten. And my strawberry wine is still fermenting on the counter. Makes me so happy to learn these skills to not only help me and my sister but if some catastrophic thing were to happen maybe I can help the new neighbors across the street with 6 little girls. Thank so much Heidi
One of my favorite childhood memories is staying with my grandmother. We would go pick strawberries or peaches, take them home, and make jam. The next morning, she would make crapes filled with the jam and topped whipped cream.
We have skinny window sills too so thank you for sharing those succulent planters!
I’m a 65 year old granny and yes, I like the Twilight series. 👍
Thank you Heidi, still praying for ya'll & God bless 🥰🙏💞
I sure like this n that every Monday
That's why I like you so much, Heidi, you have so much common sense
I thought twilighters were Alzheimer patients with early stages of the disease. Memory problems starting in the evening. 😅😅
If I remember right, it's called sundowners not twilighters 🤦🏻♀️
@@Julesbc1234
😅
They are called sundowners. And it is a real phenomenon.
@@reibersue4845 yes, thank you. And please know that I'm not making light of that situation.
@@Julesbc1234
Didn't think you were. I was just emphasizing the point. Night shift nurse for 20 years. Our old folks could turn into something else, once the sun went down. They could be a handful.
@@reibersue4845 That’s honestly scary. Lord willing, we’ll learn more about cause and prevention.
Isn't it ironic that Lion sounds like lyin?
I had to laugh when you mentioned crepes, although I didn't comment about them on that video, that is exactly what I thought of as well. But that makes sense, with no eggs it probably wouldn't have the pliability of crepes.
As for the Twilighters....until you showed the picture I STILL didn't have a clue what you were talking about. And no...shows like that don't interest me in the least.
And I'm really looking forward to the Interview with a Hillbilly video.
God bless!!
I enjoyed the Twilight movies, but not so much I'd visit your town because of them, lol. Thank you for all the work you do to give us these videos, you are a treasure! ❤
I got that reference!!
Ty. I wanna make blueberry vinegar. Maybe it'll be blue. ???
I have made blueberry vinegar, it is more of a purple color
Thanks for going over so many details. I will say a prayer for you and the family for y’all today.❤
I really like your vinegar ideas and recipes. Have a hair question. Do you wash your hair with soap before the vinegar wash every time? Please help my hair is now a lot more curly, thin and dry.
I did cover that in the video so I am guessing you must have asked this before getting to that part :)
Sorry I saw the whole video first before commenting was just actually clarifying what I thought you said. So no was my actual understanding.
@@jaqulinehembree1713 I see, I actually have a video coming out in a few weeks about how I wash my hair with the vinegar and go in more detail including how much I dilute it, which is about a 1:3 ration of vinegar to water
@@RainCountryHomestead Thank you. I am looking forward to that video .
Where did you find your planters?
The link is in the description box :)
Hi, Heidi 👋 I liked that vid from 2016.
Sorry, when you said twilighters I was thinking of those having sundowners memory issues. 😆
Crepes & blintzes. Yummy.
Mistakes happen. It's ok.
Succulent planters... good to know. Thanks.
Vinegar. Good to know about the pansies and hibiscus added to the forget me not.
Thanks Heidi.
HUGS
Thank you Heidi! 🙂
Being unfamiliar with the Twilight series, I appreciate the explanation. I thought you were referring to folks like us and older. Actually, I like that better than senior, boomer or ol fart. 😄
Blessings! 💜
So funny that my uncle and his family have lived in Forks for 50+ years. Last time we were up there in 2017 I found out the town became famous from the Twighlite series. Interesting.
Such a beautiful testimony of your father-in-law. a tribute to a wonderful life of a man well loved.
I’m sorry 😢
I did enjoy this video, thanks❗️
🙏🕊🙏
Praying for you and Patrick and family. God bless and comfort you all. ❤🙏
Good This~N~That video, thanks for sharing YAH bless !
I missed the Twilight reference and quite frankly, i would have never made the connection to the books and movies.
I cant get into the fad books. I've tried when they were lent to me and could only read so much before they bored me to death.
I love your this and that videos. God bless . Prayers for your family always but especially for tomorrow. ❤
youtube will not let me like your video but I DO like them all
So sorry to hear about your father in law. You are very fortunate to have known him.
I never knew my father in law he passed away before I met my husband. My husband was only 19 when his father passed away. God bless.
I'm so sorry to hear about your father in law. Sending prayers
Love crepes
😂. Cream cheese filled smothered in fruit.
So very sorry for your loss. ❤️🙏🏼
Haha my mom is actually a huge Twilight fan. She thinks Edward looks like one of my brothers whom we haven't seen in almost 20 years (I don't think he does lol). Funny enough, the Forks area had been a place I'd looked into moving to when I was around 20 because of the rainforest there (well before the Twilight books came out). It's such a beautiful place. I'm glad you mentioned the Forget-me-not vinegar, too, I was just thinking about starting some floral vinegars. I don't have forget-me-nots, but I have seeds I could start, and vinegar works best on my hair as well. I really like the idea of completely replacing commercial shampoos with it.
Prayers for you & your family!
I know tomorrow is going to be a tough day for your family, praying for all. I have read the Twilight series, bought the dvd set and enjoyed them until I found out that they are an abomination. I had no idea. These were part of many things I threw in a bonfire. This is also about the same time I started following a kosher diet, and learning what the Bible really says. I always considered it “just entertainment”.
I love the new seed starting pots you bought, the glazing on them are beautiful, and they are a great size for that.
As always, asking Blessings for you and yours! Shalom.
Since my Monday videos are actually shot on the Thursday prior, we did have the service and it went far better than I had expected. We were pretty exhausted by the end of the day but grateful for those who came, brought food and condolences.
So happy to see your Monday's videos. God bless you Heidi and family ❤😊❤
I appreciate your channel so much ❤
Look forward to the 2016 video
How about bachelor buttons?
Hi, sorry for your loss.
Thank you.
You could add a Butterfly Pea flower or 2 for more color in your Forget-Me-Not vinegar.
For those who can grow them, that is a great idea. I do have blue butterfly pea powder, however, I do not that when it is used in anything acidic it turns purple anyway so while it may start off blue, it would eventually turn purple as it becomes vinegar
🌻🐛🌿💚💕🙏
Great video as usual! Thanks for the updates!
I played detective, put your description of planters on your Amazon link , Bingo it pulled it up. 😊💕God Bless You and all your family through this difficult time, may GOD’S BLESSINGS GIVE YOU AND PATRICK, and FAMILY EYES TO SEE ALL HIS WONDERFUL LOVE , that surrounds every moment of ALL. YOUR LIFES NOW AND FOREVER!, In JESUS NAME I ASK , AMEN!
I actually provided my affiliate link to them in the description so when people go through that link, we can earn a small commission
I look for it 4 times and couldn’t find it. But I did go through your Amazon link to give you the credit
Welcome back Heidi!
👁👁 Happy to drop by…🫶🏼
I love your this &that videos!
Thanks Heidi 😊 ❤❤
Again, Thank you Heidi!
I love the pillow too but I ordered the smaller one thinking it would have plenty of extra fluff inside and it's too small for me because it's not quite fluffy enough but it's great for between my knees at night so I ordered the regular size one now also. I need to start the fruit and herb vinegars again and actually use them on my hair. Brilliant ❤ Thank you for sharing your wonderful things with us and linking them. God bless you ♥️🙏 have you tried lilac vinegar? So you don't need shampoo? I'm thinking the vinegar will stop the itch 😊
I have not tried lilac vinegar as the flowers are a bit too precious yet for me to use for that
@@RainCountryHomestead true! I have to agree lol
I don't know where I saw it, sorry.......I saw where someone used a rain gutter, that was cut to fit a specific sunny space. It was filled with soil and used for seed starting.
Yes, I have seen that quite often but it would have been too wide for the area and I wanted something a bit more classy looking
@@RainCountryHomestead I get they're not beautiful, it was just something I never would have thought of using. Someone crafty, certainly not me, could probably decorate them to be more aesthetically pleasing to use in the house. Truly enjoy your content.
Thanks Heidi.
Thank you 😊
Hi Heidi!
thank u
I just ate a lions mane mushroom, it sure has boosted my energy, and is one of the tastiest mushrooms I have ever tried!
I love your natural hair color Heidi. So beautiful. The lioness healer.
Not sure what you are referring to as my hair has been the same natural color in all my videos: dark brown with grey. If you mean any old photos of me from my college days, I went through a short period between the ages of 19-20 of dying my hair red. I do not recall sharing a photo of that in this video but maybe I did
@@RainCountryHomestead It was just a compliment of how you wear your hair Heidi.
Hey Heidi 🥰💞🙏💞

I heard the Twilight reference and laughed because I knew what you were referring to... and no, I'm not a fan at all either. Thank you. God bless.
Ditto. I was at the tail end of my high school years when the first one came out but didn't know they existed until after I graduated. I read them just to see what the fuss was about (18-20 years old, maybe?) and thought they were ridiculous, stupid, t o x i c , vapid, etc. Such crap writing, the tropes are awful...and x number of years later, the same ones and more went flocking to the 50Shades series, which is even worse...
To each their own, but there's a reason why it's become a meme LOL
Thank you! Continued prayers for all.
I never could bring myself to watch to watch Twilight because besides of both the vampires and other evil entities, and the idea of a few hundred year old seducing a teenager.
Yep
I was pretty immature socially when it came out so I liked it then, but as I grew up and more wise, I realized how very toxic every relationship in that story is. The dad is literally the least toxic person there, and even he's pretty strange. And worse, it sparked a whole slew of girls in real life calling their boyfriends their "Edwards" and their non-romantic male friends their "Jakes". It really set a whole new level of toxicity for society. And yes, that's on top of the 100-yr old seducing a teenager and referring to is as "old-fashioned" rather than what it really is: grooming. It goes to show what the author really feels on the subjects.
Yeah the age gap, the crap writing, the tropes, the ridiculousness, the toxicity...all of it just...I never saw the appeal. Yes, I read them. No, I was not a fan.
Even worse is the subsequent 50Shades series...

Hi! I love your videos so much. I live in Norway and I would love to find a way to get started figuring out the plants and things around me and their benifits but it is a slow start so far.

We love you. Wish you would put more on rummble ❤😊
I am not sure what you mean, I am putting the same amount of full length videos 5 days a week on Rumble and once in awhile I put an extra one or more
Twilight that takes me back
HEIDI DO YOU KNOW OF ANY STORE BOUGHT APPLE CIDER VINEGAR THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND ?
I do not want to use Braggs anymore.

I LOVE the scenery in the Twilight movies. Especially the Columbia River and beach scenes. I like to fast forward to the “Edward and Bella flying through the trees scenes” and just watch it over and over! Visiting that area is definitely on my bucket list.
We did watch the first movie and found ourselves laughing at a lot of it. I saw them showing the Columbia river on several occasions but no matter which way you go, it would be at minimum a 5 hour drive to get to it from where Forks is.
I know the forest they filmed in was by Kalamath Falls (the actual waterfall) in Oregon. It's a beautiful area, as well.
@@RainCountryHomestead Lol when it first came out, I was still pretty young, in my mid or late 20s and still very immature. I loved the movie then, but as I got older, I realized just how toxic all those relationships are, and now it's a big nope for me lol. If i see clips of it now, I do laugh.
@@homesteadgamer1257 And it takes about 12 hours to get to Klamath from here, haha, we used to drive down there every summer to visit family. It is where Patrick's dad lived for a good number of years before moving farther south into California
I missed the Twilight reference, too. Never read or saw any of it. Praise the Lord! 😉
