I can´t decide! I was looking for the Keychron Q1 but now I do not know! I really like the sound of the Cidoo v75. Which of these you like the most? Please help me
ooo the Q1 is a nice board too! I believe it polls at 1000hz while wired, but only 90 on wireless, which kind of sucks. But from my experience and from reading about the Cidoo V75, it doesn't reach 1000hz (it polls around 500hz wired when I use keyboard inspector, and 125hz on wireless). So maybe this will help you decide a little bit better? Q1 will poll faster while plugged in, but slower while wireless. :D
But if you only care for wired...you HAVE to check out the Epomaker's prebuilt Leobog Hi75 on Amazon. It's on sale for $90 right now, and it will blow your socks off!
The Epo Hi75 has got one of the best stock sounds I've ever heard, it polls at 1k hz, and it's a great build that's totally worth the price now. (75 for barebones, 90 for prebuilt) - one of the reviews have a sound test that you can listen to as well (spoiler: it's mine) amzn.to/420Jmou

Hello, im new to the hobby and i cant decide between Cidoo V75 Pro- Cidoo V75 Plus and Monsgeek M1W. I want it to be thocky. Between these 3 there is barely 10-15 euro difference. What would you choose between them? Thanks for the cool video!
hi there! Thank you for your wonderful compliments! If you're thock-chasing, I think the switches and caps will matter more than the boards in this case, as these three are fairly similar. If you haven't, check out my other vid on the V75 plus and you'll see that even though the plus and the pro are of similar housing, the other parts play a big part in how it sounds. ruclips.net/video/aL-6Yc93SNc/видео.html You'll want a keycap profile that is thick and probably a little taller than cherries. Maybe MOA/MDA/SA profiles? For switches, this can vary greatly, but some nice thocky ones that I've played with are akko yellows, gateron north poles, alpacas, etc. As long as they're not clicky switches lol The M1W is a nice board though! I think you'll get a little more cushioning on the M1W (at least that was my experience with the Monsgeek M1), but the cushioning doesn't necessarily translate to thockiness.
@@keebtunes Thank you so much! I couldn't find the answer for 2 days. Im probably gonna get the m1w with SA profile keycaps. It helped a lot. Thank you!
Cidoo V75 is better value than the M1 or the Halo75. I'd have to give it to the V75 if you're looking for a solid ass setup without having to do any work to it. Now, I think the M1 feels a "tad" more premium, but in terms of specs they're very much similar. The Cidoo has a bouncier gasket mount than the M1 though...that thing is pretty stiff. I don't have much experience with the Halo, although I do own the Field75, and I think Nuphy's products are okay...It's more glam than wham, tbh. It's more aesthetic, but feels worse to type on... at least that was my experience with the Field75, which is 160 but doesn't feel that good to type on...I use it because I love the side volume knob, but out of all of these three boards, I'd have to go Cidoo > M1 > Halo If you want a kit though, M1W will be better (for $10 bucks more) since the M1 doesn't have wireless. Cidoo and Halo has all three connectivity options.

Awesome video, and very helpful 👍!!! I was wondering about that “bongo cat” keyboard desk mat… What are the specs on it and where did you get it from??

I didn't even mess with the stabs because I thought they were solid, although some hand lubing would only make it better. There's minimal rattle, and the stabs are moderately tight. The plate cutout is sufficient to accommodate third party stabs, although I don't think you'd need to go that route.
@@keebtunes thanks for your reply. yeah they do sound pretty good stock. Do you think just brushing some lube on the housings and injecting some grease into the wire spaces would make them perfect without needing aftermarket stabs?

If you do want to perfect the stabs though, brushing the stem and housing will be necessary. And if you're doing that, I'd wipe off the steel wire lube and apply your own, and maybe drop a stab pad or bandaid under the stabs before you screw them back in

Edit2: So I just searched and I like 75% keyboard with knobs like the epomaker th80, I want to build a creamy switch keyboard with maybe banana splits , the keycaps will probably be one of those black and white Japanese ones or some Neon genesis evengalion keycaps I found. But I really need help finding a good white case, dampeners, lube, pcb, painters tape and all other stuff I hear and see and I just don't know where to start with and how I can get a keyboard to sound creamy without using their exact build.
Edit3: okay so I am confused, but the layout I like is the one in this video. Like with the F keys and the knob and 3 side keys.
I am so confused on how I thought epomaker th80 was like that. Huh
Sorry for having so much edits!
Of course, we wouldn't want you using the same build as everyone else..let me pull together a list of things for you in the morning and we can go from there? A couple of hours from now when I'm in front of a computrr and I'll put it into a PowerPoint for you
@@keebtunes You are so nice. Thank you for helping.
@@amisukarei my pleasure! I'm just happy I get to discuss and share ideas with passionate people like yourself - I'll make things easy to digest, so don't worry!
I'm really making things harder for myself by refusing to buy wireless keyboards 😅 this looks pretty good, pity theres no wired option.
Oh you mean just wired only? I always like having extra options just in case I needed them!
@@keebtunes yeah. I got you, most do, my perspective is that what's not on there can't break, plus a wired connection is more robust. I don't like Bluetooth and I don't like having batteries in my keyboards or mice.
Thats a purist approach, I think that's cool 😎 tbf I use wired the majority of the time too, since I enjoy looking at my keyboard cables lol
@@keebtunes hah right, cables are a hobby unto themselves 😂
True that! What's your flavor? I'm sooo tempted to switch to straight aviators
I am getting a good deal on lmk81 and it looks very similar
I think it may be the same board, with maybe a slightly different bottom design and colorway
