They made a perfectly matching numpad, Cidoo V21. I got it standalone just because the value of it being Alu + Gakset + Tri-mode Wireless + QMK/VIA, at HALF the cost of the only other numpad I've seen like it, the Glorious GMMK Numpad. I think I'm going to get this board to go with it even though I wasn't initially all that enthusiastic about the beige color instead of white.
Modded and stock doesnt seems far too different for me except for the stabs which is great, now iam really confused on to get this one for the wireless connectivity or Monsgeek M1 as it is 'cheaper' as iam going to change the keycaps and switches anyway in the end
If you're gonna end up changing the switches and keycaps, go for the m1. No point in spending extra money on a keyboard that comes with them. And the fact that the tape mod made a very subtle difference to the cidoo v75 surprised me as well!
@shareemrasyidi9948 if you remove the first layer of foam attached to the v75 pcb, it's very soft, but otherwise it's stiffer than the m1. The m1 is not stiff, but doesn't flex much. Softer than foamed out v75, stiffer than casefoamless v75
The assembled v75 is more keyboard for the money. On sale it's sold for like $110ish at times I believe. I don't agree that there is no point to getting an assembled board. When the cost is minimal I'll personally take a whole extra set of switches and keycaps. Especially when they are pretty decent ones at that. Why would I buy an M1 for basically the same price without those extra and without the wireless connectivity? The only reasons IMO would be that you just like the M1 better for it's looks or something, the QMK/VIA support will ultimately be better (the CIDOO doesn't currently have full QMK support since there are no release firmware files), and finally easier access to alternative plates. They will inevitably sell the v75 barebones and in other colors like the v65 as well.
Thanks for giving example of the tape mod. You saved me some time, because I thought about trying it and your video shows that it doesn't make much of a difference. I've actually tried some basic mods on this board like taking out the original foam and replacing it with something else, and nothing makes a big difference on the sound signature of this board, other than changing switches.
Damn... I am getting the keyboard bug. So far started with 1- royal kludge m75 2- Yunzii y87 Now just purchased this... Damn... I have a thing for 75% boards
Just got this for $68 with prime day deals. Love it so far!

@@SimulatorTech How is the typing feel comparison between the two? Kind of curious about that too tbh

Oh btw that was my personal acc. I forgot to switch lol

V75 sounds better than my board I bought and modded for over twice the price 2 years ago.

Thanks, very good explanation and good quality video
I got it customized with a 21KB classic Windows 95 keycaps and it looks beatifully retro.
Dude that's actually sick, this board handles the retro looks wonderfully
Hooray for south-facing LED
HOORAY
should i buy this or the barebone version?
The prebuilt is pretty good value, but get the barebones if you want control over the switches and keycaps
I got it for half off on Amazon deal days for 70 bucks and I think that's an absolute steal.😅
Is going for Finalkey v81 plus a good choice?
Never tried it, but it looks really cool. I would see if anyone online has reviews for it.
I am getting a good deal on LMK81 and milky yellow pros.. looks a lot like this
