This is a Tech-Demo preview for the up-coming Independent Professional Wrestling game "The Wrestling Code".
The Game:
The Wrestling Code is an up-coming Independent Professional Wrestling game developed by Virtual Basement. It is built on the Unreal Engine 5 and will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Virtual Basement:
Virtual Basement LLC is an independent game studio with a diverse team spread out around the globe.
This very diverse team has a passion for making games with a lot of imagination. Games are the next generation media outlet and there is no doubt that the gamer population is growing rapidly.
We strongly believe in designing games that are filled with innovation and creativity to inspire future generations to challenge themselves and visualize a unique and imaginative world of their own.

Full 1.0 consoles with full features/roster is most likely 2024.”

It’s almost perfect. The only issue that I spotted was the foot glitching into the ground whenever the player model steps outside of the ring. I cannot wait for further details to come out about this game that goes beyond just game play. I would like to see the different features such as arenas, create-a-wrestler, match types, ect.
They got Sandman in here 🔥. I can’t wait to see what the weapons physics look like for this game.

This is hands down the most realistic game ever. Its so much details in everything the ending was over the top, wow! I can just imagine with a crowd the intensity and interactions with the venue and backstage cut scenes with the voices. Story/universe mode will be classic. I got my $70 ready

This looks amazing, if this is just the beginning of the work on gameplay, I have nothing to critique. This is what happens when a group of talented devs come together for a passion project, the budget is irrelevant. I was beginning to think this was just another pipedream and you guys were just really talented graphic artists. But I can see from this video that you guys are building out the gameplay to have depth also. Fun gameplay and a set of decent game modes will instantly put this title above Yukes new title and head-to-head with 2K. The roster is already untouchable. Keep it up and take your time.
Sandman’s head opening up at the end was the cherry on top for me😂😂

Its not a matter of rushing it, is that they didnt showcase any actual footage yet except a couple minutes of a blender 3D model walking in an environment filled with store bought assets
This looks so awesome even in alpha footage. I am completely stoked for this game. I stated before on twitter to you guys, if you need someone to test the game out for bugs, I would be done. But good work to you guys for the job you put into it so far.

We announced the game in 2020 and covid hit. It's only been about a year or so of solid development. lol

Yo that was different, freaking amazing, the only part that through me off is not seeing the house when you could see behind the banners and stuff, obviously I wouldn't expect them to, and it isn't a bad thing that they didn't add it, just caught me off guard, but the graphics and everything are outstanding
We thought about adding the house but for privacy reasons figured it was best to isolate the arena.
