What I love most about this is that having followed Chris for years, watching and growing with Chris Danger in video games, he achieved a dream many of us have had. From watching wrestling as a kid, and creating myself in the games, I always thought how fucking cool it would be to do it for real. Tonight, I lived vicariously through Chris. Congratulations on an amazing achievement and here's to the future (and hopefully a first W!) 🍻

Went into watching this without low expectations. Was completely into it as soon as it began. Watching Chris be such a natural at this reminded me of my own dream as a kid of becoming a pro wrestler one day. It's encouraging to see it's possible.

This is the perfect Rookie vs. Veteran match. Even though Chris lost he didn’t look bad at any point even when Shawn overwhelmed him with his experience….. I enjoyed every second of this match.
I've been saying it for awhile but I think Shawn Spears is one of the best wrestlers in the world and it's a shame the people don't get to see him on TV every week anymore. When he's in the ring he makes good wrestlers look great and he makes great wrestlers look world class and he was the perfect opponent to help tell this beginning part of dangers story. Good shit DPW

I honestly thought this match would be bad but not for a bad reason. But because he’s very new with little experience. Definitely did a lot better than expected from somebody of his level. You can tell he really loves it because the effort and improvement showed in this. Obviously it isn’t the best but it was very enjoyable to watch because the effort they both gave was enough to make it feel disrespectful to not pay attention. I’m simple terms , I had 0 expectation for this when hitting play. But even if I did , he would have exceeded it. I just hope people don’t think it’s hating for me to assume the match wouldn’t be great. It’s those beginning matches of a great career that I personally find most enjoyable to watch. Because you get gems like this in the process where it’s somebody who’s played all the games and finally his work all is paying off

After seeing Danger's performance, especially with a nasty gash, on his arm, I definitely see a Bright future for him in Professional Wrestling. Great Job Chris! 👍👍👌👌
honestly this was such a great fucking first match and i’m not talking about just the performance danger made for his debut but also the entire performance and idea for it. The commentators literally told the story to us as it was happening perfectly. Shawn could have ended it early but as the match went on you begin to doubt if he could because of chris’s heart. The gash on his arm was dangerous but it made this match 10 times better and gave chris a huge boost.
Honestly, better than I expected. The suicide dive was very nice, Taste of Danger looked good and props for fighting through having a bit of your arm missing. 10/10.
I believe legitimately that if Chris continues to train and tone up his dad bod, he doesn't have to gain a 6 pack but just a nice solid frame than he has already. He can become a legit talent and i believe that this can continue to he his gimmick. His opponents always underestimate him, til they get in the ring and realize "oh shoot, this man is legit".
