- Опубликовано: 5 окт 2024
- In 2014, RUclipsr DenkOps (Chris Denker) created a fictional version of himself inside of a pro wrestling video game. 8 years and 1.5 million fans later, it's time to turn fiction into reality. This documentary follows Chris's odyssey into the very real world of professional wrestling, with every
bump, botch, & breakdown that occurs along the way. Can he make it through training and prove he has what it takes to do this for real? Or will he find himself... in danger? It’s definitely not a game anymore.
Directed by Harry Aaron
Runtime: 76 minutes
Starring Chris Denker (aka Chris Danger)
Trainers: Matt Clement (WWE's Tyler Breeze) & Ron Arneill (AEW's Shawn Spears)
Special Appearances by: Austin Creed, Adam Cole, Claudio Castagnoli, The Reality
Special Thanks to: Flatbacks Wrestling School, DPW, John Downey, Noelle Giorgi
Additional Footage: Anthony Deiulio, AEW, WWE, WOW Superstars, WWE 2K
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who has supported the journey of Chris Danger throughout the years. None of this is possible without you and I am forever grateful for the movement that we built together.
Stay tuned in 2023 to find out where you can catch Chris Danger live & an action!
I guess we can once again say... "It's not a game anymore".
It hits different irl

Can’t wait to see Chris danger in a major promotion. Shit even WWE GAMES division as Chris danger. The legit create a superstar in real life! His taunt should be stings emote yelling “CAW” 😂 calling all his fans!
Not gonna lie, this inspired me to train to be a wrestler. My late grandfather always wanted me to do it, and when he took his own life when I was 17, he took my love of wrestling with him for a long time. I'm 25 going on 26 now, and if I'm gonna do this, I'm doing it to make him proud. Thank you Chris, for reigniting my love for wrestling
awesome
Damn. I'll watch you, best of luck to you.
That’s awesome, hope you’re still doing it, best of luck
@@The_JustJoshing I still do it when I can find the time. Between work and various other things it's been difficult but I enjoy it. Even if wrestling doesn't work out I've made some amazing friends and learned a lot about myself in the process.
Good luck, brother. I wish you the best.
Chris has come so far and it's so inspirational.
Ok
A million and a half behind you Chris. I think I speak on the behalf of all of us, Good luck.
Good luck
Good luck
As someone who also went through wrestling training this year, I can understand all of those feelings... I almost quit the Nightmare Factory on two separate occasions because I though I was at my limit... Proud of you Chris!
Quick question how did find a wrestling school?
What helped you push through?
@@jarameewilliams6774 you Just look for it I was fortunate enough to live in the same city as the only Wrestling School in my state

I'm a year into the wrestling journey, made my debut in September, and I can identify so much with Chris. It's a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun, and I wouldn't trade it for a second.
You could tell just by watching him going through the training, you could see so clearly his passion for wrestling and I'm so glad he didn't give up. I know what it's like the constantly doubt yourself and think "am I wasting my time" "am I even worth it" "what the point in this", i suffered with severe lack of self confidence and stage fright, but I never let them get to me and I pushed forward and if you have the passion and the right mind frame.. Anything is achieveable
I am a longer time fan of wrestling but long time fan if yours. Krupp going bro love it
Not enough people talking about how cool it was for Austin (Xavier) to show up and support the way he did. Genuine is an understatement. Keep killing it Danger!
I can only imagine how cool it was that to get tips from Claudio. That guy is one of the best and to get tips from him is awesome. Proud of you Chris, excited for the future
😊😅r😮😂xiffffff
I was so happy seeing claudio there. As a german I already had that connection to 'The Swiss Superman Cesaro' back in WWE and obviously I love him in AEW, I love him with his friends on UpUpDownDown and he just seems like one of the nicest and coolest people to know. I loved seeing Creed, Breezy, Spears and Cole too but Claudio was just the cherry on top
Absolutely phenomenal Chris. Loved every second of it. So proud of you mate. What a ride!
Thank you bro! I appreciate you
Next vid should be what if Chris Danger made his WWE debut? Also I’m very proud of you Chris, your making a fictional but legendary character that many people including myself love from a video game and making him real. Love you both❤️🙏🏼
I'm surprised you're channel's not verified yet
@@DenkOps I love this documentary brother. My wrestling career journey is similar but also very different. I have 6 years of experience myself under my ring name Vincent Cantoni. I was trained at NYWC by Mikey Whipwreck, Bull Dempsey/Bull James, Mike Mondo, & Matt Striker. It’s definitely not as easy as it looks on tv or in the video games, but it’s definitely worth it. I wish you the best of luck on your journey & I hope we get to work together eventually. I also hope we can be friends.
As someone who has watched Chris since 2014 I can honestly say I'm glad I'm a fan of his looking forward to seeing what he will do next.
I’ve been waiting on this documentary to come. It’s so cool to see Chris process of becoming a professional wrestler much love to ya
I honestly watched this all and was so excited for the next chapter of Chris danger. Makes me want to get off the chair and go do something, highly motivational thank you Chris for everything

As someone who did it at 16 til 18, I can say I felt this exact way the entire time
The rush of it is just absolutely incredible… then I got hurt, bad, 4 weeks of not even being able to breathe properly, barely able to move… stopped me dead… now I’m 25… and gained damn near 130lbs but this… this might of just inspired me to get back to the gym, get back into fitness, and possibly get back into the ring gotta lot of weight to drop but… seeing this definitely gave me back the passion I definitely lost all those years ago
So thank you for the reminder Chris, and keep it up, I remember a compliment my trainer/coach gave me day 1, “This is the quickest I’ve ever seen somebody want to learn, actually learn and show the most promise I’ve seen in a lot of years” the class was 6 months ahead of me starting in January as I started in July and after my first month, I’d completed what they did in 7! When you truly really have the love and passion for it, you can accomplish anything
I doubt I’d be that quick at it now but, this definitely has given me the inspiration to try again
Do it bro u got this
As someone who's been part of this community for a fairly long time, watching this entire documentary from start to finish was emotional and greatly inspirational. Man, watching you just evolve over the many years you've been a RUclipsr, it's just so crazy that the video game character we followed for so many years, is coming to life. Thank you for all the years of entertainment and joy you brought us Chris! We'll definitely be here to follow you throughout this next phase of your career..
Lots of respect for chris putting his body on the life when it comes to the world of pro wrestling
The fact that Chris already had connections with real professional wrestlers like Breeze, Spears and Creed is incredible and you truly know your getting trained by the best of the best
you are living a lot of our dreams, i hope you continue your training because i’d love to see chris danger as more than a manager.
I'm currently 13 years old and Chris Danger is a masive part of my childhood. I've been watching since the 2k16 my carreer and my character in WWE 2k games was HEAVILY inspired by Chris Danger even always using your theme as an entrance song. Even when we "wrestled" with my cousins and brother when i walked towards the "ring" (which was a bunch of pillows on the floor) your theme played in the backround. Seeing you do this "project" really put a smile on my face. Best of luck Chris. Hope from the bottom of my heart to see you in the big leagues one day.
I’m incredibly proud Chris, I’ve been watching for 3 years and I’ve watched you become what you are today and how far you have come is just crazy. Can’t wait for a dpw match.
Ever since I turned 10 I’ve always wanted to be a WWE superstar, and you just told me where to go when I want to train to be a WWE superstar so thank you for telling me where to go so I can train whenever I get older and is old enough to be a WWE superstar and you just inspired me so much to follow my dream from hearing your story you’ve got to be the best RUclipsr ever heard Chris danger you’ve got to be the best person I’ve ever heard and so nice you’ve got to be the person who is telling me what to do and I grow up.
I hope one day I hope I get to see you live on WWE. Good luck, I believe in you

I remember I started watching Chris back in 2015 with his WWE2K15 career mode. I quickly became a big fan and watched his every video, at the time I was also really into wrestling. I remember watching him for years, not just the wrestling videos but stuff like the batman series as well. However as I slowly started watching less and less wrestling I slowly started watching less of Chris. However I never unsubscribed, and would every now and again watch a video.
It has now been a while since I watched a Chris video, but knowing this man and watching him grow so much over the years I just had to check this out. Big kodus to you for this journey Chris! Awesome documentary!
I wish you all the best😁
Love the message but it's "kudos" lol
Me too
I remember finding you when I was 12 years old and i stayed up all night to watch your career mode videos. Today I'm almost 20 and watching this made me feel so happy and inspired to chase my dreams. Thank you Chris, for leaving a foot-print in my life
this man made my childhood. 2k18 was personally my favorite mycareer. Chris, I hope you know that you inspire and entertain us so freaking much and we appreciate you so much. Love from Philippines🇵🇭
I did this, "officially," for 2 years. We had an old Luchadore ring (no spring) that was left outside. So it had twisted planks, and ripped up mats, and thick metal cables for ropes (the kind that you see securing telephone phones to the ground) and barely anything covering the turnbuckles. It was painful, but I had a blast. Eventually, we got to the point to get a better ring and slowly started doing shows. Unfortunately, I had to stop for many reasons and it killed me. I was getting the push to be the champion, even won a rumble style match. Anyway, that company ran for about 12 years-ish. They just retired the company earlier this year and rebranded, but the people that came through there through the years are insane. A lot of them are on TV now and some of them were the champion. It's Wrestling Revolution, in McAllen, Texas (wrstx on youtube) but rebranded New Breed Wrestling if you ever want to check it out. I'm not in the videos but the original company logo was my design and part of it made it onto the belt. Ok, I am rambling, but I said all that to say this: This will change how you watch wrestling, this will change a lot of things, for the better. I am glad this happened. Oh and one more thing, I've been downloading Danger into every Universe Mode, with me and Wrestling Revolution, in every 2K since you've been uploading him. Anyway, good luck and keep up the good work in everything you do.
Drop some names.
@@CavinLee Once the company started doing weekly shows and getting bigger, they started showing up. I'll miss some names but, Raymond Rowe (Erik) was champion possibly twice, Sarah Logan, Teddy Hart (sometime after Florida, if you've watched the Doc), The Brian Kendrick, Paul London (I think both might have been champion), and Ricochet, I can't remember if Keith Lee was there but I know he wrestled people from that company, also in Temple, my hometown with a friend of mine, met him briefly along with ACH. Ember Moon (Athena) both in McAllen and Temple. Rob Conway, possibly Champion too, or he was NWA Heavyweight Champion at the time. Wrestling Revolution was a part of the NWA for a few years, that's probably when most of the bigger names came through.
@@royalschlitt5130 did you ever wrestle these guys?
@@CavinLee Unfortunately no, they all showed up after I had to stop and the company grew.
@@royalschlitt5130 what’s the timeline of your story?
What you talk about with wanting to be great the first time really hit home for me. The anger and anxiety building over wanting to be great from the very first bump is real. I trained at the Nightmare Factory last year and felt the exact same things.
This make me want to start my wrestling experience. I’ve always had a passion for wrestling but never executed it, also behind the scenes as well. This shows that if your passionate and believe in yourself anything is possible. Thank you Chris 🙏🙌
i was at the first ever DPW show and being able to see Chris go from a person i watch on RUclips to a person i see perform in real life has been an incredible journey. i’m so happy and proud of everything you’ve accomplished!
I’ve had 12 years of pro wrestling under my belt and Chris I’m excited for you and proud of you. When I started I was 19 and 150lbs as long as you have the determination and heart even the smallest can rise! Keep it up
Chris I have bean a fan since 2013
I used to watch all the Chris Danger playthroughs in 2014-16. Kinda forget about the channel as life changed and my interests changed with it. But I am so glad to see you where you are now man. Watched the whole thing and it made me super nostalgic.
Chris Danger in real life. Can't wait.
Same here. I’d love to see Chris team up with one of his trainers.
“99 overall my ass” popped me, but that kip-up earlier in the match?
Dude, I had no idea you could do that. Good job, man! You’ve earned it!
This is something I’ve wanted ever since I started watching his career mode in 2k16 and now that Chris Danger is coming to life, is absolutely unbelievable and I can’t believe it.
This was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. From where he started all those years ago to here, all his buddies helping him get to this point. Not only having the opportunity to do something like this but going through with it and succeeding at it, it's super inspirational. I am not usually one of those mushy people but I can't help but feel excited for him. If this isn't living the dream, I don't know what is.
Great job Chris! I've seen your channel a few times over the years, but when I saw this, I was super impressed with your performance considering you only had a small time of training, KEEP GOING!
Just from the few clips you see the reality of how tough and physically immense you’ve got to be to be a wrestler. Yes it’s entertainment, it’s acting, but above all it’s physically very very impressive

Chris were all so proud of u I’ve been watching u since 2016 and seeing how far u have come is absolutely amazing ur doin great keep making us proud 🎉
Been watching you way back since 2k15 vids when you had like 15k followers. Watching your evolution and growth as a person has been crazy. Go forth, be proud. Can't wait to see what comes next!
Now I can add Chris to the list of people I wanna wrestle one day ... Right up there with pulse .... Proud of you for not giving up
Chris is really out there making all of our childhood dreams become a reality. Amazing to see it
PS: Austin (Xavier Woods) is reallyone of the most wholesome people in the industry, to make time to show up for his friend with that crazy ass schedule alone
This documentary felt like the origin story of somebody who made it into the business and had a storied career.
It’s so refreshing watching somebody speak so passionately and with a never say die attitude for this business and is such an appreciation for this business for decades.
Really hope one day we see Chris Danger on one of these big promotions because you can tell Chris just gets “it” and wants to be the best version of himself.
The humbleness of which he approached every day of training, every conversation with established friends and talent is something 99% of people who don’t make it never have.
Been a fan of the RUclips content for years now and this pulled the curtain back on Chris Danger the person and now I’m a fan all over again
It’s kind of cringey lol. As if the story is unique to him, and not everybody else in the world, played the same exact story mode.
Bro you have no idea the Level of inspiration you are to a normal Wrestling Fan who grew up with the same dreams. The fact I got to see you grow and see you keep growing is amazing and inspiring. Much love bro always
Chris, DenkOps was the first channel I ever subscribed to in 2014, and trust me when I say this, you made me feel like a proud little brother. Love you, bro, and always keep on shining.
That’s how wrestling training was for me. The conditioning of it is a whole other level. I ran cross country and track all through school, shit I ran up to 60-70 miles a week for 4 years; I played basketball, baseball, so I was a pretty athletic person. But wrestling training like you and everybody will say, it’s 110% a completely different ball game. But just like you, I loved every second of it. Glad to see Chris Danger come to life. Hope to see you in a ring again 👀
I remember watching Chris' WWE 2K16 playthrough back in the day, let's suscribe to this guy i said, at the time he had 250k suscribers maybe less i think the fact that Chris' love for pro wrestling put all the effort to make Chris Danger a real person and not only game character is amazing and mind blowing. I'm so proud of you boi and i hope someday see you in a the major leagues like AEW, TNA or maybe WWE, keep in pursuit of your dream and never give up because something Chris Danger did through all these years is never quit and always fight.
Go get it Chris, love ya.

Man you are really living the dream of every kid that was a wrestling fan. Excited to see where you go from here and will be following you all the way. One of my favorite wrestling youtubers to watch. Keep up the awesome work!
This doccumentary is so relatable with mentality. I go through anxiety badly and overthinking the bad every single day and it's a battle that is so draining, like you said, and even at work I can't stop until I feel accomplished and feel I've succeeded in my, and others, eyes. No matter how much I get paid or who it's for. I dreamed of being a wrestler since being a child. I am 20, turning 21 in 2023. I'm going to use this video as motivation. I really need to get my anxiety and fears under control though, it's literally ruining my life
You can do it!
Chris has a mindset that shows the difference of dreaming about something and actually putting the work in. Hoping to see you as a top star soon
I remember watching your 2K videos for years and to see you training in the ring is dope as hell. With the passion and love that you have for wrestling that a lot of us fans have, I can say with confidence that this doc was a dope Christmas present. I loved every second of it.
