One thing this black-and-white film has is imaginative camerawork, often crafting images with light and shadow,
and interesting camera angles. The creative visual statement adds to the acting and story-line itself in a major way.
you got no credits at the start nor the end. not cool.
It's on Plex.It's a gorgeous opening and closing song. And an important opening set up is missing.
Sal Mineo in tighty-whiteys AND a Speedo? Yeah, and that Speedo left NOTHING to the imagination. Damn!!

It has been cut out with the opening of the story it self. The little girl who dies.
OMG, what a sad, sad movie, not just because of the story, which was quite prudish at times in spite of all its interest in salacious subject matter, but due to the knowledge that Sal MIneo was no longer being offered decent movie roles. Why not?! He and Elaine Stritch were the only people worth watching here; Juliet Prowse was bland as an actress and Jan Murray as an actor was a very good game show host. Thanks for posting, though. I understand this was hard to find for a long time.
Fantastic movie. Sal was hotter than July. This version is presented in a different aspect ratio which cuts the bottom and top visual of the film. In the original aspect ratio, Sal’s workout scene leaves nothing to the imagination. This is a horrible presentation of a misunderstood underrated film. It had great performances from amazing actors. Sadly, title and end credits are missing from this so seek out another posted movie and don’t waste your time watching this edited garbage. The original film in its original aspect ratio is a five-star flick

He is Sal Mineo.....he starred In Rebel Without a cause, Giant and Exodus along with Paul Newman and Eva Marie Saint

@@peterwebb725 - YT if they were smart would have the commercials at the beginning and make them so you can't skip through them. Not unlike previews in a movie theater.Wouldn't hurt their bottom line.

Sal is bursting with sexual energy, very beautiful, very boyish. His velvet sensuality just swoonworthy.
Anybody know the name of the Jazz score at 52.35 when Sal Mineo's character goes out looking around sex shops & peep shows ... Music is really cool 👍👍
@Robert-qm5so I tried to find it with the Shazam! app, it found nothing. I tried finding other music too, like the song that Juliet Prowse and Sal Mineo were dancing to near the end, Shazam didn't find that either. I have a feeling this music was originally produced for this movie, which would be surprising.
It reminded me of Miles Davis. I always stay
until the musical credits play. It is disappointing that they were cut off especially with all that music.
