Thank you for this video, what specs do I need if I'm streaming off the console and just need a laptop for the Elgato capture card, streaming and recording? Can I get Leveno gaming laptop with just 16 gigs and not experience lag?
So cool of you to put this out there for beginners! When I was searching around in the beginning, I was definitely looking for the best bang for my buck, and there's always gonna be downsides to that, but it's cool that you list all your personal favorites, as well as good equipment to just start with. Definitely going to be looking into one of those webcams!
So I bought a desktop and still have my laptop. But I’m not sure if I should run both the stream and game at the same time or do a dual computer setup. Do you have a video on that?

Is your laptop strong enough to handle 1080p and 60 fps through the use of a capture card in obs studio? I'm looking for a much better laptop but I don't want to buy something that I'll regret.

@@CpawsMusicI should have specified. It shows up in the actual kick chat. But I use that twitch overlay you suggest for one monitor users. And it doesn’t show up there. Like new followers or even gifted subs don’t show up in the overlay. My timed commands do though

I don't have any experience with dual pc setups, lowkey if you have a decent laptop/pc then a dual pc setup is overkill in my opinion.

I tend to avoid macs for streaming since they aren't as compatible with software but you might be able to get away with that!

I'm not a huge fan of mini PCs but they can definitely be the choice for some select people
