As an ER dr, I’m not happy to have to get these drunk, combative, nasty individuals dumped for me to deal with. Sometimes you can extinguish the tirade by separating their hatred of the police from hating us, too. We do have access to mental health facilities if they are truly suicidal, but first we are obliged to rule out all other reasons for confusion besides alcohol or drug abuse. Very challenging.
It must be frustrating to deal with those kinds of people. I’m sorry you have to deal with them. Thank you for everything you do as an ER Dr, you are a hero to the community!
It must suck being the only people in the world who can't just say , nah not my problem. Thanks for doing what you do for all of us who have ended up in the ER.
What is worse is seeing how unsympathetic Dr's are over people in addiction when you are the first ones who are supposed to understand it is an allergy of the brain and a medical disorder for people like this. That woman who was fighting with the cops was Kimberly Steenberg. Her husband was Richard Steenburg, who was one of 20 people who died in the Schoharie New York limo crash in 2018.
In the UK, when a suspected intoxicated driver is pulled over by the police, they are immediately given a field breath test or drug swipe, if they are over the limit they are arrested and taken to the police station for a breath or blood test. I don't understand why they waste time in the US doing all the field sobriety tests...
6:35 Can you explain to me how 2 months of probation and a $4200 fine helps her child she almost killed? Why didn’t cps step in? Why didn’t she lose her kids? Why wasn’t she forced into a rehab or treatment court program cause they have family treatment court as well?
The saddest part is the child's mother that said her child has a medical emergency. Did not get upset seeing her mom act like she did . It says a lot. Poor child is probably used to seeing her idiotic mom act that way . A lot .
As someone who was born and raised in Connecticut and has a father that was in the police force for around 15 years there, I can confirm people in Connecticut act like that all the time, they lie to get them or others out of things, try to shift responsibility, and overall it's a pretty shitty place, especially near the Hartford area (I'm not fully sure how bad Danbury is since I grew up near Hartford but if its anything like Hartford then it's bad, but since I've never been there I won't make any assumptions), but there are also places that aren't as bad, take Terryville for example, but still, lying to police officers to attempt to get your son out of trouble is crazy.
26:06 Why would you try to wreck your son’s brand new career before he’s even out of the academy by trying to use him to get out of a DUI. Then act like a complete piece of garbage and keep name dropping your son while you do it! Wonderful parenting mom!
As a parent and grandmother to 10 amazing grandchildren I'm apaulled by some of these parents they should be ashamed of themselves child protective services should be called and have them remove them from their homes, I felt so bad for the young boy who called 911 cause he thought his mom was dead come to find out she was using drugs and the house walt filthy, unkept, dirty these people don't deserve children 😮😮I hope that the authorities took action in removing the children were they are safe

When did people decide we could argue w/cops, refuse to obey, (if a lawful order), refuse to get out of a vehicle, (if a lawful order), tell officers no… and tell the officers what to do??? This is so ridiculous!
The woman reaching all over her car, not complying w/ANY instructions, and then driving off to elude the officer🤯 She could’ve been 🔫 I’m a bit uncertain as to why he didn’t feel like his life was threatened b/c it actually was on several occasions. Disturbing. She seems impaired.
Oh man I actually feel bad for Kim Sternberg. I heard about that crash. She was supposed to be in that limo too but she was sick that day. Who knows what she was like before but I can imagine spiraling into alcoholism and mental health issues after something like that. 20 people died in one crash. I hope she got help.
That woman was not in a hurry for her kid! When I was stabbed in the leg with scissors in 6th grade (kid was running around room while I was talking to my crush holding scissors blade out and he ran into me and in went the scissors ) My mom got pulled over in front of the urgent care for being on the phone with my dad while driving. The officer was slow and being a jerk threatening to throw her in jail my mom was compliant, apologizing, crying and begging to just let me be brought in to the urgent care for stitches as I was bleeding all over the car through my gauze and sweating. She said it’s ok if she gets a ticket or in trouble just to please get the doctors or follow her into urgent care to alert the doctors. He did not let me get in and he decided to let my mom go after 20 minutes. She was so distressed that she never got his badge number. If we had it he would’ve been soooo fired. This was before body cameras were mandatory/implemented
Its fascinating watching these women realize they aren't getting their way and it totally blows their mind. They literally can't believe that all the crying, the lying, the blaming, the flirting and the tantrums that have always gotten them out of trouble aren't working this time and it completely shatters their world.
The kids are suddenly real important once the cops show up to hold them accountable for committing crimes. Before that not so much- you can drive trashed with them or neglect them or abuse them. Disgusting. Anyone who uses their children like that should have their rights stripped because we all know exactly what kind of parent they are.
The first case...why is she getting in trouble?! She told the cop that she was moving to a different apartment, and everyone knows you must drink wine when you're moving! So what's the problem? Lol. Wow, she really said that like it's the "moving procedure". That little boy deserves so, so much better; I hope he's healthy and happy right now!
I know I hate moving because I have to get wasted and drive with my son, it’s really the worst part of moving.. I’m so confused as how a grown woman actually thought that in her head, processed it and then said it with a straight face!! Dumbest shit ever
When Kimberly mentioned that her husband died in an accident, I remembered the tragic limo accident that killed an entire family basically. She lost all of her siblings her husband and her friends in a limousine accident for a bachelor/bachelorette party. For some reason she wasn’t there, but I truly feel sorry for her, especially since her children were not with her when they filmed, and arrested her. She has been through more than anyone could imagine and we all sit here watching her act crazy after drinking alcohol. I feel bad for her and And I would implore you to remove her section from this video so her family does not have to endure additional pain and torment. Look up the largest most fatal car accident in upstate New York. I could only hope to act as same as she did after losing that many people.
Thanks for this, I couldn’t find anything but the name is wrong, isn’t it? Steenburg, not Seberg? Kimberly sure has suffered a lot, I hope she can pull through before something bad happens. 😔
Then all the more reason to get her f$&king act together, huh? It was a birthday party, by the way. Her behavior is a disgrace to all the people who died.
OMG This type of video definitely makes me feel so much better about mistakes I've thought I made as a mom. Heck, I feel bad if I lose my temper and yell at my kids when they are misbehaving.
My brother was a cop. I got pulled over for speeding, I handed the officer my license, reg & insurance, as I took my license out of my wallet he saw my brothers picture in his uniform, he asked if my brother was on the job, I said yes but that doesn't give me a get out of jail free card. I took the ticket & I paid the ticket. People these days do not understand the concept of taking responsibility for your actions!
The "contracted with you" Mom upset me because the child was just...silent. Silent the whole time, meaning she's used to this activity from her Mom and that breaks my heart.

Ingested medication takes 20-30 minutes to be emptied from the stomach, then it goes to the intestines for a rather long process where it finally gets into the blood stream through the liver. So no, she didn't just take it and pass out. In fact, this is why we use intravenous because it does work right away because it bypasses ingestion.
We feel like when police ask for license and registration, they should also *ask for the keys.* For safety, and collateral. Will return with papers, and any investigation.

14 and 18 at the time of this arrest. It's been four years from the accident. One would think that drinking and driving would be the last thing one would do when losing so many in an auto accident.
My son and daughter in law would have loved kids. They are 2 hard working people and it didn’t happen for them yet these losers seem to be able to have kids with anyone at anytime. Life is not fair for my son or these women’s’ kids.

I love the one cop's definition of 0-10 on the drunkenness scale. "Holding onto the grass to keep from falling off the face of the earth." Been there, done that! :D
As someone who’s been put in cuffs before (as a teenager and was just in the wrong place wrong time, my one misdemeanor was dropped the next morning) and didn’t resist, I will say the feeling of being cuffed and having unwelcome touching and losing control of your hands is a lot scarier than it looks 😅 my fight or flight was telling me to struggle but cooler heads prevailed, so when I see people resisting cuffs resisting like this I laugh but also I feel for them very very low key LOL
Ashley Weber deserves mother of the year award ! 😂 a total pos ! Reminds me of my sister !! All the help in the world won’t fix anything until they’re ready for help !
It’s people like Ashley that have caused real people with pain to either go without or jump through ridiculous hoops just to get relief from chronic pain 🤬🤬🤬🤬
This issue is multi layered, and there is enough blame to go around to the entire medical field and the government, not just the individuals in many of these cases. I understand it from both sides, as I care for my elderly mother and step father and they have to travel an hour just to get the pills, my mother just had hip surgery and my step father was a Vietnam vet who was blown off the back of the jeep and he was the only survivor and has suffered with chronic pain for many years. I think each individual case when it comes to judgement should be based on the circumstances that led to the addiction.
Every time a drunk mom says "My son's a cop" I wish police would reply "Well, you're doing a great job embarrassing him"

@@samorsamantha4346 that's a brilliant idea. Catch out children, prevent crappy teachers. I think most public services should have a bodycam requirement, things like these 2, hospitals, firefighting, and more.
There are countries where the cops are the most corrupt of them all. Absolutely 0 accountability, 0 checks and balances. Bribery, rape, murder, etc. I highly doubt we'd Wana see those.

“That’s, gotta be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life” 😂
“Don’t worry it’s okay to drive drunk in key west according to her.” 😂😂😂😂
That woman trying to defend her grown ass son was disgusting. He chose to get behind the wheel of a vehicle KNOWING that he was drunk (“I am under the influence of alcohol”) which endangered himself AND everyone around him. But here comes mommy down the hill to try and protect him from the consequences? That’s a boy mom for you 😒
Not this boy mom!
No. That's a shitty parent. Period. It has nothing to do with the gender of the child. This is one of those "I'm friends with my kids" parents who never give out consequences for negative behavior and now there's a grown ass human who feels like they never do anything wrong.
I have 3 boys I’d never allow this crap. That’s a shitty parent not a boy mom
Drunks are the most insufferable people in the world, that's why I don't go to bars or events where there's lots of drinking.
I feel like it should be a crime to just ask officers to turn off their cameras...
they never will because then the police would be committing a crime.
It's for both the cops and our safety.
nah, i think it should be illegal
Wtg nurse for putting Kimberly in her place. This psycho should not be around children.
You sir are the ones that send them out there defeated by the very people they ask for help from.
Sad
@@bdoocalahe took an oath to help them not complain about them.... sorry he is a Dr should be the statement.

@@All5AJz Im on suboxone for chronic pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis and 5 other auto immune disorders. I came in the ER by ambulance bc I couldn't breath and passed out at the doctor's office. The ER doctor called me a heroin addict and I told him no and explained the RA chronic pain. He then made fun of me and acted like he was smoking a joint and asked is that's what was wrong with me. I explained that I wasnt a drug addict. He laughed at me. He didnt run any tests and blamed my situation on anxiety. 4 days later I was taken by ambulance to a different hospital and that doctor was just as hateful. After 6 hours I demanded my discharge papers so I could go somewhere else for help. He finaly did testing and within minutes we found out I had blood clots in my legs, stomach, both lungs, heart and brain and I was in heart failure. I was airlifted to a bigger hospital where the doctors didn't think I was gonna make it. Luckily, I did. I dont understand doctors whom complain about their jobs. Yeah they get unruly patients but they dont have to take judgment and frustration out on other patients.
2nd mom "I'm not contracting with you" Oh great a sov cit reproduced.
she went thru some weird moves as far as opening the window went.
Why do grown women scream like banshees and think saying “let me go,” and “stop” over and over will cause the officers to actually let them go? How do they not understand that they’re making things so much worse?
Cause ranting, raving and being loud and obnoxious has gotten them what they wanted in the past.
“You flew here? You appeared here magically!?”
“Yeah” 💀💀💀
Witch!!
So you can give me a drug test because I don't take drugs but it's okay that I drank 3/4 of bottle of wine but that doesn't make me impaired....makes my blood boil.

So husband thought she was on medication that was too strong and still let her drive with their kid? Neglect is too strong between these 2.
Good idea lying to the cops about who was driving, nice way to teach your kid to be responsible.
Man, that one was infuriating. Coming home drunk from the country club where he drank and played golf, crashes, and then lets mommy take the blame for it. And she does it! Completely nuts.

These women, should not be called mothers! Those poor kids! 😪
That woman who was fighting with the cops was Kimberly Steenberg. Her husband was Richard Steenburg, who was one of 20 people who died in the Schoharie New York limo crash in 2018.
Damn. I lived in the area of that crash for several years starting the year it happened and seeing the memorial was heartbreaking. It's so sad.
What a disgrace
In the UK, when a suspected intoxicated driver is pulled over by the police, they are immediately given a field breath test or drug swipe, if they are over the limit they
are arrested and taken to the police station for a breath or blood test. I don't understand why they waste time in the US doing all the field sobriety tests...
That guy whose mom lied for him, should be downright ashamed. Maybe this is what's been happening for years, mom lying to cover up for him
6:35 Can you explain to me how 2 months of probation and a $4200 fine helps her child she almost killed? Why didn’t cps step in? Why didn’t she lose her kids? Why wasn’t she forced into a rehab or treatment court program cause they have family treatment court as well?
It's really hard for them to take your kids away and it's sad cuz some people need them to be

Giving birth does not a mother make !
makes a parent but you’re absolutely right.
I'm proud of your father he raised such a sensible woman. I'm from Branford and our state has changed so much! What's with all the crime?
I feel bad for the children that thought their mother was dead.
I hate to say it, but maybe the kids would benefit from not having to go thru that trauma on a weekly basis iui s?
All those poor kids... I really feel for them.

I take medication everyday and I don’t have to use a lighter or aluminum foil to take it! Am I doing it wrong? NOT🤬🤬🤬 She scared her kids so much they thought she was dead😢 Shame on you, Mom🤬🤬🤬
That one passed out mom, every time she says "what?" Pretending to be shocked? I live for that cop that doesn't repeat himself, he says "that's what."
"I have an empty seat and I have a whole other pair of handcuffs with no wrists in 'em".
Nice one! Shame she was too drunk and stupid to appreciate it.
I wonder how proud her son is in the police academy of her?? She thought that would get them out of trouble
So like if you didnt know your blood alcohol level rises slowly. Her increasingly erratic behavior is her BAC continuing to rise even though she already stopped drinking
When did people decide we could argue w/cops, refuse to obey, (if a lawful order), refuse to get out of a vehicle, (if a lawful order), tell officers no… and tell the officers what to do??? This is so ridiculous!
"My son's a cop in Connecticut" What does that have to do with anything going on? Plus, they're in Key West. LOL
The drug court woman is higher than a kite
Mom should be charged with lying to the police.

It's disgusting to use children as an excuse for anything.
“he’s not gonna come here in my home and disrespect me because he’s hot.” 😂🤣
I really enjoy your videos very high quality stuff you do a very good job when presenting it, there are a lot of people out there trying to copy your channel but they can't compare it to the kind of quality and time that you put into your stuff and I really enjoyed the content

Anyone else notice how much the guy’s girlfriend looked like his mother in the entitlement family in Danbury, Conn.?? They even had on similar clothes! Ewwww!! It was hard to tell them apart at one point because they had on the same olive green shorts/shirts. That guy has issues and it’s no wonder since his mommy comes to his rescue and is willing to get arrested for him?!? WTF?!?
Ingested medication takes 20-30 minutes to be emptied from the stomach, then it goes to the intestines for a rather long process where it finally gets into the blood stream through the liver. So no, she didn't just take it and pass out. In fact, this is why we use intravenous because it does work right away because it bypasses ingestion.
We feel like when police ask for license and registration, they should also *ask for the keys.*
For safety, and collateral. Will return with papers, and any investigation.

I can’t be a cop. For many reasons but in particular the fact that I would not have nearly that much to say to overgrown toddlers. Once you prove to me you’re not a reasonable person I’m not arguing with you. I’m telling you what your choices are and what happens. The rest is all up to your response.
I studied to be a cop but opted against it cause the rage I would undoubtedly have when encountering bad parents I'd be going to jail too
Calling these women EVIL is a disgusting stretch. Being an addict & alcoholic is a disease & they need help & it's human to make mistakes. With ALL the perfect parents that make no mistakes at all, in this comment section, you would think the world is all sunshine & rainbows! 🙄🤦🏽♀️
When your grown son is that drunk and driving , why lie to the cops about. You couldn't teach him let the police?
Let’s all be grateful, those of us, who had mothers who took good care of us. A clean house, good, healthful food and clean clothes.
Why they do these silly field sobriety tests in America and don’t just breathalyse/drug test on the scene baffles me it’s just weird and does go against those with disabilities or mobility issues - I swear it’s just to make people look stupid for videos like this and can in no way be scientific
Omg, that Kimberly is actually in charge of children? Yikes.

Gas station attendants should have been asked how they couldn’t see she was drunk when the other customers who didn’t enter act with her could.
