@nicolajohnson1012, great comeback from the cop. These cops put up with so much stupidity and so much unbelievable violence. They never know how bad the situation is going to be when they get there. They deserve to be treated without the stupidity they endure everyday. Child abuse is got to be really hard. They come against some unbelievable hurt children or dead children. I SO AGREE WITH THE WAY THIS OFFICER HANDLED THIS CASE. TO DRIVE WITH YOUR CHILDREN IN A LETHAL WEAPON AS A CAR IS JUST THAT DRUNK AND YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO PUT THOSE CHILDREN IN THAT KIND OF DANGER? YOU BELING IN JAIL FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. It was so funny when she realized she f'd herself by telling the cop she drank a bottle of wine.
Cop: so you think its ok to drink a bottle of wine and put your kid in the car and drive here in bad traffic?
      Her: No!
Cop: so you didnt think it was ok but you it anyway?
Her: No I mean I didnt do it!
Cop: So what, you got here magically?

As someone who was born and raised in Connecticut and has a father that was in the police force for around 15 years there, I can confirm people in Connecticut act like that all the time, they lie to get them or others out of things, try to shift responsibility, and overall it's a pretty shitty place, especially near the Hartford area (I'm not fully sure how bad Danbury is since I grew up near Hartford but if its anything like Hartford then it's bad, but since I've never been there I won't make any assumptions), but there are also places that aren't as bad, take Terryville for example, but still, lying to police officers to attempt to get your son out of trouble is crazy.

When I was stabbed in the leg with scissors in 6th grade (kid was running around room while I was talking to my crush holding scissors blade out and he ran into me and in went the scissors ) My mom got pulled over in front of the urgent care for being on the phone with my dad while driving. The officer was slow and being a jerk threatening to throw her in jail my mom was compliant, apologizing, crying and begging to just let me be brought in to the urgent care for stitches as I was bleeding all over the car through my gauze and sweating. She said it’s ok if she gets a ticket or in trouble just to please get the doctors or follow her into urgent care to alert the doctors. He did not let me get in and he decided to let my mom go after 20 minutes. She was so distressed that she never got his badge number. If we had it he would’ve been soooo fired. She lost all of her siblings her husband and her friends in a limousine accident for a bachelor/bachelorette party. For some reason she wasn’t there, but I truly feel sorry for her, especially since her children were not with her when they filmed, and arrested her. She has been through more than anyone could imagine and we all sit here watching her act crazy after drinking alcohol. I understand it from both sides, as I care for my elderly mother and step father and they have to travel an hour just to get the pills, my mother just had hip surgery and my step father was a Vietnam vet who was blown off the back of the jeep and he was the only survivor and has suffered with chronic pain for many years. I think each individual case when it comes to judgement should be based on the circumstances that led to the addiction.
