So pleased you enjoyed! Full turbo tutorial coming out tomorrow to prepare people for the upcoming medieval ball season (including Decameron, hint, hint. ;-😉)
As an Italian renaissance reenactor and dancer, finally someone dancing sticking to the choreography! No strange twists and turns at the saltarello or skipping the movimento! Bravo to both of you!
Thank you so much! I reconstruct these dances myself, working from the original manuscripts in the original Italian (sometimes in transcription, but I like to at least compare against the original script in those cases) and teach professionally (classes, workshops and events). I know whereof you speak, though - strange things that people do to these dances that are simply not called for, or implied, in the original sources!
Actually, I live in Korea a good portion of the time. :-) it's quite gratifying though, wearing Italian attire in italy. The Koreans really love it. They have the Keen Eye for beauty of any culture and era.

I wish I could dance like that again. I live vicariously through you when you dance.
Absolutely beautiful. Makes me wish for a more gracious time. At least the good parts of it.
One of my favorites!

What's it like travelling to Korea with Italian garb?
