Besides it's all subjective anyway. All I do know is that Haslam has been my favourite female singer for years. It's like hockey players. Dave Keon was my favourite Toronto player but that's because I'm a Leaf fan. Maybe he's my favourite all time player but I do like other players on other teams. I know that Bobby Orr was a better player but as a fan of Toronto, Orr doesn't count as a favourite Leaf player. He's not a Leaf.

I've never heard anyone with the musicianship and guts to attempt covering it. Your version brought tears of joy to my eyes. Michael Dunford passed away a few years ago, but Jon camp and Annie Haslam are still with us. You should find a way to get this to them. Excellent musical performance on Ashes are Burning. I was fortunate to see Renaissance perform Ashes are Burning album 3 AM(morning) the Academy of Music NYC. The Wishbone Ash guitar sounds great. vocals are moving and also the Jon Camp Bass. Excellent job!!

This is truly exceptional! The performance is wonderful, but the simple fact that someone is keeping alive music from what was a completely unique band - Renaissance - is equally wonderful. No one will ever compare to Annie's crystalline voice, but Gabby does a fantastic job. I was lucky enough to see Renaissance once in the 70's and still remember the show quite fondly.
