It's absolutely fucking insane how much character each dealer theme had, and how much they actually resonate with the manufacturers' themselves. To this day this music has literally shaped my perception of each manufacturer, or at least when they were able to put out nice sports vehicles.
I was going to write the exact same comment. They really capture the personalities of the manufacturers.

Well, my car wasn't in Gran Turismo 1, but it was in number 2!
Mazda 323 '95 but the one ingame was '92 and '89 but still nearly the same car.

Well, to be honest, it was when they had the MONEY to be serious.
@@twotailedavenger except Mitsubishi is a conglomerate, not a single manufacture.
Some sacrifices had to be made through their motors corporation unfortunately. Times really have changed. But someday they'll return to what made them great in that division.

@@user-xh1xq9iu8h Doesnt matter it was basically a mini escudo except it could race in almost every type of race in the game if i remember correctly, with ridiculous acceleration when fully upgraded.

+XRavenHunt normal cars event was so fucking hard, the solution was the GTS, and then you made a lot of money, then you get a JGTC

Toyota: See "Nissan"

The guitar riff at 0:36 sounds just like the one heard in the main menu of the simulation mode. That and this tune both have the same sound.
It's also in the Mazda dealer.

Believe it or not I own a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and the thing is an absolute beast. From now on I am gonna start playing this music when I go for a drive in it 😁

first time i play this game i bought the 92 mirage cyborg r when i was 7
it was my first ever car in gran turismo
+1 wontonking and +1 JTikal on the GTO (3000GT), i swear that car was super OP cuz i was using that as often as my beloved r32's and r33's. i'm putting this song in a playlist for RL cruising with fellow bmw owners to pay homage to my eclipse that i'm working on getting to gs-t specs, it's currently a gs model (4g63 motor but no turbo, and different transmission)
the 3000GT was like the fastest car in the game when fully upgraded, it had like 900 hp.
Top speed when fully tuned was 242 MPH.

When i first started playing this game, i was looking for a 4WD, and i figured subaru would be a good option. Then i found the lancer evo IV.
