The world’s most grueling touring car race; the Nürburgring 24 hour race was held again this year from Thursday May 14th to Sunday May 17th. At the race hosted for the 43rd time this year, a speed limit was introduced due to some heavy accidents that occurred on the track in March. With the level of the top teams brought closer together due to the cap in performance, the competition was more furious than ever before. In the race final there were multiple accidents due to heavy rain on random parts of the track, and the victor was only decided after 35 race interruptions, the most number of interruptions to be seen in years of racing on this spectacular course.
This video is a documentary of the fierce battles that took place on the tarmac, reconstructed through the voices of the people at the Ring including drivers, team staff, course marshals and spectators.

yeah true but some people are going to be missed in this video especially sabine schmitz “queen of nürburgring” passed away last year due to cancer :’(

Incredible. I implore any racing fan to go to this race. It really is a defining point in life... and it's when you realise that pretty much every other race doesn't matter. The people, the place, the track, the atmosphere, the bratwurst, the weather... honestly, it's incredible.

The Nordschleife!!! The 24H is that Race here at the Ring, and we love it! THE EIFEL! I life here and it is the best spot to life! Would like to be a driver but if i am a caffee maker for the driver i would be so thankfull!!!!!!!

PS: Now go back to Gran Turismo 7!! Work in those realistic engine sounds, great career mode, car list without standards and repetitive cars please, great track list, and cool set of features (don't make me earn paints in the game though)...but focus in racing, real flag regulations, practice mode and qualifying before races, dedicated servers for online racing, support for all steering wheels...etc.
GT never has been or ever set out to be a racing game so dont blame PD if GT7 doesn't have those features you listed.
+Psydrre They've always been a driving simulator, which may explain why the fanbase behind GT doesn't die. With your imagination, you can do anything in a practice lobby, unlike Forza where all the lobbies are either AYY LMAO LETS DRIFT DIS W16 MINI or full of AYYY LMAO WHAT IS RACING???? LEMME RAM INTO YO CAH
People sometimes say that it is the Mekka of racing. And it is true. As a racing fan you got to visit it at least one time in your life! (Or Le Mans 4 times...)
Foxiol I've been 6 times in as many years to drive the track. Will never ever get bored of it. You always learn something with every lap.

+David Butler OH, and PD... Let's get the physics right this time in GT7... No more simcade halfway stuff. Back in the days of GT4 you had some of the best physics and FFB on the planet (for the time). GT5 and 6? Way, way too game like. Bring back the realism. Oh, and bring back all the freaking tracks you've decided to leave out.

@@georgejakob1451 not really I think. Current gen Ryzen processor should be able to provide computational power for about 100 AI. This is just a racing game. You just need to set some waypoint/racing line for the AI.
