You could use Delicate Tomb instead of Trinity Ghoul for the arc special weapon. Feeds into the grenades with jolt and ionic traces, activates Spark of Beacons and the ionic traces feed right back into Delicate Tomb. Real Tempest Cascade fantasy
doesnt lucky rasberry give the arcbolt grenade jolt itself, do we need the fragment too or am i misunderstanding the exotic?
It's weird how bungie is scared of putting voltshot on a legendary bow, and giving t-ghoul 3.0 verbs.
It's also weird how he's starting to look more and more like Kip from Napoleon Dynamite
MACTICCC
Don't know if got fixed, but for some reason trinity ghoul lightning rod would trigger special wepon blind effect from the fragment.
That's disgusting
Ive seen a vid where he did that, and i just tried it today and did not notice any thing being blinded, attempted in a legend lost sector and couldn't se to blind anything
Give it a shot and see if you see it working
That was back in Plunder when Arc 3.0 came out. Not sure when it got fixed though
@matthewmalave1991 If that is truly your goal, I recommend the last seasonal pass weapon, Centrifuge.
It will proc spark of beacons and create a blinding "explosion." It is difficult to notice, though, and usually the red bars die too fast for you notice, but you will notice with blinded majors and unstoppable champions being stunned by the blind proc when killing nearby trash. I confirmed this last night.
I guess they fixed it, I remember doing this when arc 3.0 came out.
Loving this "will it build" series! Please keep them coming.
Instead of trinity ghoul, I’d recommend Delicate tomb for a great synergy
Just use a voltshot weapon delicate tomb is horrible
@@PringleDingle76the catalyst makes tomb even more goated with its perk and the inclusion of arc fragments. With the right set up and enough ads, you could consistently get your grenade back quickly.
I also tried volt shot guns and they weren’t as good
How good would ex diris be?
@@nwenthold poor, since it doesn’t jolt on ionic trace pick up like tomb
Love the series - you’re onto something really fun and engaging, especially during times of content drought.
Don’t like the new format. The old format was super helpful to wrap my head around everything with your initial overview, especially for stuff I’m less familiar with. Almost like I got the rundown and was invited to judge the build alongside you once you started playing. Jumping right in with the new format is a little disorienting and I didn’t feel as able to asses things. I was just kinda…watching-not watching and thinking like I was in previous WIBs.
i agree, i feel like im figuring it slowly as you are
100% agree! Love the series, including this video. I think it's a genuinely great idea implemented well, which is hard to come by for video game & build content. I also agree that I prefer the previous format.
Just one thing i wanna say, when I was running arc hunter in legend sectors, i would use the grenade to jolt unstopps, then melee them to blind them which did stun them. Not sure if it blinds them, but it defo stuns them. But be wary of stomp attacks that will one shot, probably only useful in a clutch or die situation.
Yup it does blind them
The arc slug shotgun from iron banner Gunnora’s Axe can have voltshot too!
Devil's Tricksleeve
Solar:
Supper: Blade Barrage
Abilities: Gambler's Dodge, Triple Jump, I use knife trick (Dealers choice tho), Healing grenade
Aspects: On your Mark, Knock 'em down
Fragments: Empyrean, Torches, Tempering, Solace, Mercy
Kinetic Slot: Dealer's Choice (Can use another sidearm to try to keep procting tricksleeve, but not worth it cus it already sucks at stunning champs)
Energy Slot: Devil's Ruins
Power Slot: Dealers choice (but preferably something solar)
Exotic Armor Piece: Mechaneer's Tricksleeves
Armor: I would prioritize Resilience. And then you can really choose from there but don't worry about recovery the build should help that.
Mods: (head) Hands-On, Solar siphon, Anything else I did a kinetic siphon but up to what you are using in your kinetic slot. (Arm) Impact induction, Heavy handed, once I masterwork it I am putting Focusing strike. (Chest) Charged up and any resistance you need for activity.(Legs) Solar weapon surge, innervation, whatever else you want. (Class Item) Reaper, Powerful attraction, i did bomber but this is your choice as well.
Short comings: Aside from devils ruin being able to stun unstoppables, it is kinda hard to stun the rest. But that is why you have team8s :).
Pros: If done somewhat right can have near infinite radiance and healing.
Gameplay Loop: Hit anything with melee to become radiant. Get solar weapons kills to increase time of radiant. Make sure to just throw and dodge whenever. I am only using tricksleeves because one I think it might get a buff next season and two if you are low on health and switch to devil's ruin you can do some massive damage for a sidearm. I wanted to try to use devil's ruin.
Its bugged still and the Overload stun dosent actually work. You need the fragment where arc grenades jolt targets
Was looking for this comment so thank you, this should really be near the top before people try and take on Overloads and then realize they can’t stun them without the fragment because of the bug
The sidearm Brigand's Law supposedly works well from a different build video mentioned.
Yeah for sure brigands imo has the best jolting potential of any primary
Im pretty sure you can stun Unstops with the "Jolt + punch"
Arc Blind stuns unstoppable champions.
That's true but only hunter can do that but it's kind of difficult to do without assassin's cowl invisibility
@@cangooz2240 the video is about arc hunter
@@imtableship1703 that's exactly my comment about arc hunter
@@cangooz2240 I'm confused why you'd bring it up then. Every class can blind with the flashbang grenade
Buff T-Ghoul. Direct hits with at least 1 lightning rod arrow apply jolt. Change my mind.
What's that secret route for that you were taking at the beginning? I've never been that way.
Switch Trinity Ghoul with DARCI. Use Ikelos smg with voltshot and FF along with Riptide (Auto Load + Chill Clip) in primary and you're set.
I'd say witherhoard is actually better with this loadout. The tick dmg of the witherhoard constantly procs jolt so you basically end up making mini gathering storms out of bosses
Tried extensively in GM, the arcbolt nade is simply too weak to put some ressources in it, even with a very fast ability loop. I should work like a charm in legend and master lost sector
Not first
Just a heads up, you are *completely throwing* if you are using this build without rapid fire ranger and semi auto striker artifact mods. The entire armor charge setup is designed around getting 2 stacks from a *single* t-ghoul triple headshot, and then being able to hold up to 4 stacks courtesy of the chest mod. That feeds into the kickstart for nearly 40% grenade energy back immediately on the throw. With the next 2 shots proc'ing jolt for bonus damage and grenade energy, and also refilling your charges... Very wild.
Bolstering and Bomber are meant to be a feedback loop in the event to take advantage of blinding things that are already jolted, lets you handle 2 champ types just off your subclass, and with anti-barrier bow on T-Ghoul.....you're just set.
It's very much a season-specific build, but yeah....the fact DIM links don't handle artifact mods means you *really* didn't get to see this build working at full-spec.
Will It Build is such a good concept, Mac. Keep it up!
I think this would work really well with the hunter exotic glaive, in season 23, not currently (no pun intended). It's a special weapon, so blinding explosions would be fantastic.
Isn't the special blind on crits? It's been a while since I logged in so be gentle
@@torrvest No crits needed, according to light gg. Also Mactis recommend using forbearance, so I figured it worked that way.
@@torrvest There's another Arc Fragment that allows you to Blind things by hitting something that's *already* Blinded with a headshot, if that's what you're remembering?
Tarnished Mettle with Demo+Voltshot has great synergy with this build for obvious reasons.
Witherhoard does wonders on the jolted targets beacuse of its tick damage
I noticed that too during season of plunder. Running GMs, you could jolt a champion, hit it with witherhoard and just duck back around the corner while the champ walked around and shocked all of it's buddies to death. Good times.
@@Ronin7577 exactly 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼😈😌🔥🔥🔥
This is by far my new favorite Destiny build series ...well done sir!
I feel like the Intrinsic Trait should be it causes arc bolt grenades to Jolt instead of Overload because Jolt already Stuns Overload. That way you could use a different fragment
The status effect jolt doesn’t just cause them to stun, they have to be jolted, and then damaged enough to trigger a lightning strike. Arc bolt grenades only hit the target once, so they don’t trigger a lightning strike, and therefore don’t stun without the exotic.
Put an episode counter in the titles! Love this series
Ultimate Support Titan
Solar Titan: Towering Barricade, Throwing Hammer, Healing Grenade, Sol Invictus, Roaring Flames
Fragments: Benevolence, Empyrean, Tempering, Ashes
Tommy's Matchbook(Exotic Auto Rifle)
Precious Scars(Exotic Helmet)
Helmet: Solar Siphon, Heavy Ammo Finder & Scout
Gauntlets: Heavy Handed, Harmonic Loader, Impact Induction
Chest: Emergency Reinforcement, Harmonic Reserves, Charged Up
Leg: 3x Solar Weapon Surge
Mark: Time Dilation, Reaper
Continuous kills with Tommy's Matchbook keeps restoration up for you and your allies, spawns heavy ammo for you and your allies. Preferably Rockets in the heavy slot. Become an actual tank when getting a revive on teammates through Precious Scars team overshield. If stats aren't great on armor, swap mods for "Font of..." mods. Have fun!
Btw, always look forward to your videos!
Crap load of weapons from lightfall that have voltshot. YOu've got the GL from season 20, the fusion rifle from neptune, the pulse rifle from neptune.
Best primary jolt weapon currently is brigand's law. Highest damage now since sidearms got buffed + you can have pugilist in column 1.
Safest weapon is Tarnished metal and it can have demo+voltshot.
All of the above can be crafted.
Don't know if someone else already said it bit but just in case not I'll say it anyways they may have been suggesting trinity ghoul because of anti barrier bow this season (which u already had on)
Edit: also noticed that u said that blind doesn't do anything to champions. You are incorrect. Blind is an intrinsic way to stun unstoppable Champs.
I wish RUclipsrs would stop pretending Lucky Raspberry is good for views. The changes Bungie made were a nerf, and it’s now just a weaker version of Shinobu’s. It either needs to be reverted, or given back its original functionality, combined with the new functionality (cuz lets be honest, it’ll never be op even with both functionalities combined, cuz Arcbolt grenades are just kinda ok).
Delicate Tomb is great. OR with Season of Wish, Undercurrent could be disgusting. Demo/Volt Shot on a wave frame GL. SPICY
Arc Hunter is the best Hunter. Got Blight Ranger, Lucky Raspberry, use Raiden’s Flux. Too much fun
If you’re already punching a lot to proc jolt and blind enemies, why not just have impact induction and whatever the melee version of bolstering detonation is called? More grenade energy for punching and you get dodge back faster to proc bomber. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
genuine question but what's your fashion? I know you use full bitterpearl for your shader, pathfinder helmet and luxe arms but what cloak and legs do you use?
Demo voltshot undercurrent and wardens law. Or one two punch kinetic and ikelos/ subjunctive smg
the "will it build" is interesting and i understand the run through and figure it out pros and cons, but if any of the will it builds became "damn it actually built" please put in a playlist,,, maybe "hell ya it did build" or your other playlists... going out on a limb here but even a "fun as hell but dont take this to a GM" playlist,,, just tossing it out there cuz with soooooo much content to watch and everyone has limited time, i like the will it builds for entertainment and maybe even the why you shouldnt do this side of things but i i just happen to want a new whatever,,,arc hunter, that is useable,,, finding it straight away would be nice
Posterity with frenzy and voltshock is my favourite PvE arc build weapon.
Not fussy! Prefer the old one-two punch shotty and a good punch to the head with using Assassins Cowl! Mactics original!
Haha i was 420th view
The machine gun with voltshot works with trinity ghoul. I get the idea that we all habe weapon preferamces, i like bows so.trinity ghoul is what i used when did lucky builds with trinity ghoul was fastball so i can stay back i also get stuck with one slot left.
This is a fun build
Why would you use jolt grenade fragment if the exotic already gives uou jolting arcbolts? Seems like a waste
Y'all need to listen to Uncle Rico he knows what he's talking about! Keep up the good work Mac! O-H
Arc hunter melee counter bith unstoppable and overload champs because it jolts AND blinds.
Meh, arcbolt grenades are pretty weak. I think the traitioal Liar's Handshake build is far superior to this one.
Such a shame there’s no bows with jolt, which is abit lame tbh. Thought there was a nade launcher with jolt shot? There’s a prodigal return that rolls js.
Idk if he made a controverse hold build or not but mine is absolutely fire with unlimited devour and spamming grenades
btw the overload stunning thing doesn't work, it's been bugged, you need the jolt fragment for it to work
Kinda seems like it *didnt* build. Essentially someone told you to use lucky raspberry and you had to do every single other part of the build
Trinity and Ticuu both need to be changed to work with subclass 3.0
1:36 Can someone tell me what's going on here? I genuinely didn't know about this route so I'm interested on the end goal... Also here 3:50?
As it turns out Xur has a Path of Least Resistance trace rifle w/voltshot the weekend this video dropped!
The Titan has the only really good usable dominant arc class. Then it will be warlock and then Hunter is not even on the list because the hunters arc class sucks.
Coolguy put this build out a while back - dropped my liar's build for this
Kinetic special with osmosis to get an arc special weapon (yasmin, succession, even fortissimo w demo also)
You've been taken for a ride, the person who set up this build was unsure how to perfect it and you just helped them 😅
All I want is a Spider-Man build with strand so I can super speed run through strikes and such
You can do the same thing with infinite grenades shinobus vow. I use the centrifuse and arc trace rifle
I'm running this with Prodigal Return w/voltshot and it's great!
Nah trinity def work with that build i have a similar build but mines way better n def clears way better
investing into Class ability mods on arc hunter is pointless since you refresh it with a melee kill
Theres a path of least resistance trace rifle with voltshot at xurs...get it while you can.
Might be worth dropping the special weapon fragment and run Riptide
the whole blinding loop is way easier achievable with liars handshake hunter build
Posterity hand cannon hasvolt shot and rampage it's not a special weapon though
Tip of day. Shinobu vow and skip grenades is a better version.
That all white shader is clean af, what is that called? Pretty good build too.
How do u get the all white shader I just playing this game back again
Sry fam, as much as I like TG, it is a no go for higher tier content.
Does trinty ghoul still count as a specail weapon or has it been patched.
I've been running this since arc 3.0 the cold hearts better
Yea it would be nice if ticuu ignited and trinity jolted but watever if bingo bungo
The GL "Undercurrent" from current GM can roll with Voltshot and is rather easy to farm for a Grandmaster Strike
Got my preffered Adept-Roll yesterday :D
Love the series, old style was better. Keep em coming mac!
Want to hit at least 132k with a throwing knife in a gm on a champion?
You ever wanted to do Broodweaver Dps but you dont have lightfall? I introduce you:
VoidWalker Echo of Domineering Dps Build
Exotic armors you can use: Apotheosis Veil (casting nova bomb refreshes abilities), Necrotic Grip (melee poison damage Dot)
Aspects: child of the old gods(debuff extend enemies and get ability regen from void soul)
Feed the void (devour)
Grenades: Suppression grenade
Fragments: Echo of Domineering (suppressing enemies reloads your equipped weapons, domineering can prock from suppression nades directly hitting and bouncing off enemies)
Armor mods: grenade Kickstart, impact induction, solar or stasis dexterity mods, innervation, invigoration, bomber
Weapons for dps: Witherhoard, osteo striga, Izanagis Burden, empty vessel, Cartesian Coordinate, apex predator, Cold comfort.
Dark Decider auto rifle can also get voltshot !
i dont know if youve seen this build of not but it gives you basically infinite grenades.
Solar Titan with Burning Maul, Ashen Wake, Fusion Nade, Hammer Bash, Tower Barricade, Strafe Lift, Sol Invictus, Roaring Flames, Ember of Empyrean, Resolve, Ashes, Searing, and I personally use Xenophage and a Ammit AR2 with Incandescent and Well Rounded.
Can you make a Grandmaster build guides?
Would about risk runner for the jolting?
Any free to play weapon exotics for this?
I'd keep beacons and use Coldheart.
Id recommend an arch shorty with one two punch
You ever wanted a solar hunter build that can
A:take on every champion
B:barley limits what you can use (you need an exotic scout with an exotic arm piece and the corresponding knife ability)
C:And can delete champions with 6-8 shots of a scout rifle and a throwing knife?
I bring you:wicked implement and athrys’s embrace
The combat loop is simple and extremely powerful:freeze targets with wicked, which will proc the sharpened throwing knife because it only needs like 4 headshots to activate, then throw the knife at their forehead/stomach acids for vex, the rest of the build is entirely up to you besides needing on your mark, knock ‘em down, and the ember that gives you radiant on melee ability hits (forgot the name), the super, grenade, other 4 fragments, special, and heavy weapon slot are entirely up to you, but I do suggest weapons that can hit headshot damage as to proc athrys’s
Hey Mactics, I think I may have cracked a little deeper into this build.
So when you have Combination Blow procced in a fight, it confers essentially a "powered melee" status on ALL your melee strikes, even if you don't have a full charge of melee ready. This is proven if you run an Assassin's Cowl Arc build, where you proc Combo Blow and start punching adds, you'll go invisible EVERY kill even if you have melee on cooldown (I test ran this just now to make sure I'm not full of it). What does this mean for this build? Impact induction. Essentially every 7 seconds you can proc a 20% grenade refund, even if you're wailing away on a tankier orange/yellow bar - even if you don't have Combo Blow up and running, if you don't have melee on cooldown your powered melee strikes don't expend until you fully kill an enemy (so the play is to pace out your punches until the melee box icon is fully lit up again, I found). And with the blinding melee strikes given by Lethal Current, you can keep all but boss-tier enemies on lockdown as you infinite loop nades and punches as you were discovering in the vid.
Hallowfire Heart Invincible Titan
Run with a solar primary weapon (I prefer ammit with incandescent and ambitious assassin perks) and solar heavy. I use riptide with chill clip as my special weapon. I run incendiary grenades but I guess any high scorch grenade will do. Sol Invictus and Roaring Flames aspects with empyrean, ashes, solace and torches fragments. Mod wise……solar surges and armour charge mods with time dilation and grenade recharge mods. Artifact mods…..solar orbs, any other orb mods and monochromatic maestro 👍
oh…….and throwing hammer obviously 🔥🔥
Here's the thing, you really want to use a weapon that either A)fires fast or B)does damage overtime like witherhoard. Because one of the effects of lucky raspberry is that damaging jolted enemies gives you grenade energy. But it's not just some one time thing. As you keep shooting a jolted target you keep getting tons of grenade energy. So you want something fast firing. You especially do NOT want a bow. In fact, that's probably the last thing you want outside of like a 1 shot GL.
I got j in build I call fists of the gods
Titan build
First put on point contact cannon brace
Use arc subclass
Knock out and touch of thunder
Spark of resistance amplitude chock and ions
Then put on a kinetic siphon and equip Monte Carlo
Put on a impact induction and a hands on mod with a heavy handed mod and a momentum transfer and on the legs put two invigoration mods and on the class item put a distribution mod
and use it with thruster
The loop is basically use your punch throw your grenade use your thruster and then Monte Carlo somebody punch again chuck another grenade it’s an ad clear monster and you can keep your heath up with knockout I’d suggest 100 resilience and strength then pump discipline or recovery have fun punching
Double bomber on cloak for the Bolstering Detonation. Think I run just about the same build. I have disorienting blow to blind and stun unstops, tempest strike to run and jolt to stun overloads, Trinity Ghoul to clear the room from chained lightning.
@3:34 that guy hoss is on my friends list
Hey mactics what shader do you use?
An interesting pick if you go with a Legendary Voltshot source might be D.A.R.C.I., one of the reworks gave it the ability to apply Jolt on hit without a kill, might be decent to fuel back up your grenade if there isn't a smaller enemy to proc Joltshot with your other weapon!
Delicate tomb is a way better option than Trinity ghoul, jolts and creates ionic traces, reloads itself and theres a fragment were special ammo weapon takedowns blinds enemies in a small area around you. Not to mention that damage wise is way better. Also helps keeping you amplified for any other fragments that benefit you while amplified, like creating orbs, etc.
What i don't like about lucky raspberry is the grenade disrupting overload champion bit. You have to take spark of shock anyway that makes your grenades jolt targets. So its a wasted perk on the exotic. I honestly wish they just gave us spark of shock intrinsically on the exotic so that it frees the fragment slot for something else.
I don’t use a specific Energy weapon, i mostly throw my chain granades on champions, to proc jolt often to get much Granada energy back
btw,,, i realy loved the playbook, in depth builds and explainations for the why and hows,,, whish there were more than 4,,, would to see you pick that up again
Uses edge of concurrence unironically
What shader do you use for your white
Salvagers salvo w/ demolitionist and vorpal. Get grenades faster, blind enemies, and reload with arbolt grenades.
