I’m positive the point of Dragon’s Breath in this build is to focus on killing ads with it. The scorch plus ignitions will keep the uptime of the abilities up, and if you had the catalyst, you’d spawn near infinite Fire Sprites with all the kills you’d get with it, thus you’ll be able to keep restoration up through Ember of Mercy. Come on Mactics get that dang catalyst done

Honestly, that's like 2-3 Dares of Eternity 2nd phases with the starhorse buff. I went from 0-100% in under 4 runs.
He saw he did have catalyst and applied right at end of build.

i can 100% see ember of benevolence be swapped for ember of resolve (grenade kills grants cure) seeing as you're getting grenades back so fast, it kinda makes sense in a survivability sense.
Benevolence give 400% ability regen
I have an idea! Lumina with lucky pants, with healing grenade, knife trick, gamblers dodge, knock 'em down, on your mark, singeing, torches, benevolence, solace and searing.
Mods: powerful friends, power preservation, kinetic siphon, heavy handed, 2 impact induction, charged up, (any resistances), recuperation, 2 kinetic surges, bomber, time dilation and powerful attraction.
With this, your gun, grenade and melee will give you quicker ability regeneration thru benevolence, and lumina will deal a load of dmg with double surge and lucky pants with blessed with the sky.
Searing gives you more grenades thru firesprites, benevolence ofc gives more abilities, torches allows melees to proc benevolence, and singeing stacks with benevolence for even more class ability.
I wanna try this.....sounds fun
I think ember of searing might be a better choice than benevolence. You arent always near allies to give them radient, especially running solo. With searing you are creating the firesprites which also grant grenade energy.
I use this build with heavy knife for instant ignition and Ticuus. And sometimes you get two gunpowder gambles consecutively. And it's amazing for gms.
Ticcu's doesn't innately Scorch. That won't work after the season is over. You'll need Skyburner's or Prometheus.
@@colt4505 no but it is the only weapon that you can hit fire to hit gunpowder gamble midair without aiming. clear out ads like no other. And you don't need to scorch with your weapons to have a great build.
It's obviously Samwise Gamgee, the hero of the story. "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you." Frodo definitely wouldn't have gone far without Sam.

They might as well reverse the nerf so YAS can stand equal to Shards and Celestial
As long Bungie finally figures out how to separate how YAS works in PvE and PvP.
It was understandable nerf for PvP, but they definitely need to reverted back only for PvE.
Because I do miss coming up with Hunter fashion and running around with my YAS before it was nerf.
@@randtsy927what they need to do is separate combatants from enemies in the description. Because combatants only applies to PvE, it would make sense that combatant hits would refund Grenade energy, but not enemies, which only applies to PvP

One thing to add about Dragons Breath: With the catalyst, I can shoot a rocket, swap to Scatter Signal, shoot 2-3 bursts, then swap back to Dragons Breath for another x5 rocket. Catalyst makes it auto reload with full stacks so much quicker
This build does work. The revisions you made are great, I made a few of my own. I recommend double solar weapon surge on the boots, and I also went with ember of resolve so Solar grenade kills cure you, which should be non stop with this build. 100 resilience, 100 discipline, 70 mobility.
Not sure if it was said, if you remove the overload rockets on the artifact mod, dragons breath will gain anti barrier from radiant and it’s fantastic.

I've always loved Young Ahamkara Spines. Been running them forever. And when they started to become more noticed by the community, I just knew they'd be touched by Bungie. I am really glad someone has found a way to keep them relevant though. Definitely saving this build.
As for my favorite Lord of The Rings character, I am not sure. I have a soft spot for Boromir because he is one of the most misunderstood characters in the movies. People seem to hate him for falling victim to the Ring's influence. But that just gives real credence to the Ring's seduction more than it does to diminish the character of Boromir. The more you look into who Boromir is, you will find how noble of a man he is. He has great moral quality and is a beloved leader of his people. The Ring took advantage of these aspects of Boromir, along with his fear of failing his people, and tempted him to act rashly. But in the end Boromir DID overcome these temptations, he let Frodo go, and he gave his life to defend his companions. Boromir is one of my favorite characters out of any media. Not because he is perfect, but because he is not. He is a great window into what it means to be human.
I think with the change to YAS (which I hate btw) they should also give us 2 charges of tripmines similar to D1
or just revert the change. because even with 2 tripmines you're still gonna have to get kills with it to get that charge% back. all it needed was a durability nerf on the pvp side, and stacy naded and child STILL TAKES A HALF A MAG TO DOWN!
Theoden King of Rohan. He shows much grace to Grima inviting him back to Rohan when confronting Saruman, acknowledging that it was Saruman that turned Grima against him.
Luthien. The woman is a princess and the most beautiful elf ever born on Middle Earth. To earn her hand in marriage, her Father tasks Beren with stealing a Silmaril from the crown of Morgorth - a literal fallen Archangel. And Beren goes off to do it with a few dozen heavilybarmed and powerful elves,and IMMEDIATELY gets captured by Sauron.
Luthien and her pet wolf set off after him by themselves. Defeats Sauron and destroys his fortress, freeing Beren. Then she puts Morgoth and his entire army to sleep so Beren can steal the Silmaril.... This is the ONLY Silmaril that any of the Elves are ever able to recover ahead of the war of the Valar, despite whole armies banging on Mogoth's gates for centuries. AND it's that same Silmaril that goes on to be known as Earendil's star, the light of which Galadriel passes on to Frodo.
Later when Beren dies, Luthien 1v1s death to bring him back to life with her forever.
She is easily the most OP character in the universe.

FREEZING GLAIVE MELEE STRAND TITAN
(Winterbite heavy slot glaive+ Wormgod caress strand titan)
Titan
Subclass: strand
Any barricade I use towering for more cover when I'm caught in a bad spot + rezzing teammates. Any jump. Grapple grenade.
Aspects: into the fray. Banner of war
Fragments: transmutation, generation, fury, thread of warding. (Could make changes here most are not crucial)
Weapons: shotgun for special.. I think rangnhild-D with autoloading holster and 1-2 punch works well and its craftable. (Could use something else but I like having shotgun in hands while doing grapple melee to finish off targets that don't die.. I recommend auto-loading holster so u can go back to glaive asap and shotgun will still be ready for the next grapple melee…)
Winter bite in heavy slot. Any primary but you will not need to use primary much. maybe double special ammo to help with boss dps when you are not able to get stacks or if the bosses melee hits too hard.
Exotic armor: wormgod caress. Stats leaning towards grenade for more grapples.. charged melee will not be needed as much since grapple melee does not used charged melee nor does glaive.
Don't forget the stasis mods on the season artifact since 3 glaive melees will freeze. If using solar primary you can build around radiant as well.
Play style: grapple melee in for first banner stack.. use charged melees for tangles and throw tangle for woven mail.. pull out glaive and melee everything with the Winterbite for stacks of burning fist and banner of war which provides lots of damage buff for melees (including glaive melee) and healing. shoot glaive shot at a group to get instant full shield power if needed.. If one bullet is in the glaive mag.. glaive melee will do increased damage and slow/freeze. Then Grapple melee, one two punch, and glaive melee all yellow bars and bosses ect. Don't forgot to put your shotgun in your hand before trying to grapple melee as it doesn’t work when you have the glaive in hands. Use glaive shots for extra dps on boss. save charged melees for tangles to refresh woven mail.. and orbs. Always save 1 bullet of heavy ammo in the mag for increased glaive melee damage + slow/freeze
Mods: helmet-siphon mod(s) and heavy ammo finder
Arm-grenade Kickstarter and impact induction. (could use heavy handed for more orbs but I don't have the energy)
Chest-charged up and resistance of choice or Lucent blades depending on activity
Legs- innveration and stacks on stacks
Mark- bomber x2 and reaper
(Im not master worked on anything so you may have more energy for extra or better armor mods)
Love the vids Mactics! I absolutely love Sauron, from his lore to his armor he’s just a great villain but the Witch King of Angmar is a very close second. Keep up the good work man!
I love Gimli, the humor, the dynamic between him and Legolas, The counting game at helms deep is honestly one of my favorite cinematic experiences.
I love Pippin the dynamic between him and the rest of the group always made me so happy. I also love how he grows through out the movies.
If you didn't know, there's a glitch with gunpowder gamble to throw them right after another with no cooldown. If you throw it as soon as you get it, literally the split second, you won't get a cooldown, and if your gamble kills a bunch of adds it reloads another 1 so you pretty much get infinite gambles.
You know, that should TOTALLY be an exotic... Imagine you do it so if you take damage from it AND kill an enemy, it totally recharges. Call it "The Fatal Gamble"

My favorite lord of the rings character is Tom Bombadil. "Eldest, that's what I am... Tom remembers the first raindrop and the first acorn... He knew the dark under the stars when it was fearless - before the Dark Lord came from Outside." He displays absolute power over his domain and treats the One ring as a mere silly trinket. Truly an amazing character and is so full of joy while also being incredibly powerful.
Favorite LOTR character: Elrond. He sees the need to support the Humans while maintaining the need to protect the Elves as his priority. His wisdom, guidance, and support of the Fellowship made its success possible.
Heal clip and incandescent helio side arm might work well for this build or crafted most recent raid auto rifle sorry forgot the name with enhanced heal clip and enhanced incandescent.
Abyss defiant.
Adhortative can rock heal/Incan.
just so you know 13:21 the reason the melle used to procs multiple times before its nerf due to sorch counting as an abillity dmg as its cast from a abillity. when they changed it to kills since you can get multi kills it procs on multi kills now. the grenade all so used to prock on the grenade dmg and again on the scorch dmg giving 66% grenade back however you only ever noticed it on bosses due to the grenade killing most enemys. the old build rotation i used to have was a rocket with demo on it and the cast order of :
rocket - grenade - rocket - melle - grenade - rocket - dodge - rocket - grenade - rocket - grenade.
was one of the best solo boss dps options on hunter. paired with witherhoard
It sucks because you used to be able to throw enough grenades that you could feasibly use Ember of resolve. However Bungie would rather ember of resolve never be touched by anyone apparently

Favorite LOR character: I like Aragorn. I think there is a lot from the books they could have still put in the movie about him to reflect just how above average he was. It was barely mentioned that he was Dúnedain. But overall, his tenacity was his best trait.
You make everything look so easy lol feel like you could go into a gm with a glance and 2 shotguns and clear it haha keep up the great work watching you and your builds have helped me tremendously even able to do some gms now!
My favorite character is Aragorn, one of the things I like the most is like on the first movie he's so humble about his destiny, his afraid of his internal evil because of what happened with the dunedains. I love that he is not a complete hero.
Love the build it’s so freaking good to see it back. 100% gonna build it.
Just for the competition
Samwise Gamgee was by far the best character, he practically carried that ring himself. He was a true friend from start to finish and even though he never left the shire prior it was the best adventure. Also afterwards he got the girl and lived happily. Samwise the brave is the GOAT. This probably isn’t an answer anyone would expect but Treebeard is my favorite. Not because he’s the best character in the series but because he was the first character I was ever exposed to when I saw an illustration depicting him when I was a little kid, many years before I understood where that drawing was from or even knew of Tolkien’s books. As a child, I used to be infatuated with trees hoping I might encounter one that would speak me, all because of that drawing.

Anyone whos saying someone else than samwise gamgee hasnt fully watched LOTR 😂 he carries the whole story so hard without him frodo would have died to the spider/orcs and failed. Or lost it to golum. Sam is just the personification of a true friend and hero. And hes is just frodos gardener😂 dudes the most underrated character in the whole trilogy🙏🏽
Sam is my favorite LotR character. His loyalty, sacrifices, and his dedication to Frodo and Frodo’s mission are the foundation of all real friends, Family, and success.
the problem i had with this build is how you were going to get past the tormentor but you stunning him with the gl made me laugh because of how easy you made it seem
I’ve been tinkering with my own ahamkara build for almost a month now and I swear to god I’ve made this exact build about 7 times without watching this video.
My favorite LOTR character is Gimli. One tough dude! I loved his friendship and constant competition with Legolas!

My favourite LOTR character is a toss-up between Legolas and Gimli. The banter they have when adding up the kills they have. The best scene for this was when Legolas took down a Mûmakil (giant elephant), and gimli says, "That still only counts as one." Haha
Easily my favorite Lord of the Rings character is Legolas. Ever since I was a kid I basically just love ANY form of archer in movies and games and such. The fact that he could basically just hit anything and everything with ease, but yet still be very formidable in melee combat, makes him my favorite for sure.
having never watched LotR, all I know about Legolas is he has a bow and literally stabs people with arrows
I love Gandalf because he would travel to the shire with gifts for everyone, and he's a bad ass wizard ^-^

The Balrog was awesome. :-) I loved the first time I saw it arrive in the mines... blew my mind. I know, I'm odd, but it's in my top tier for fav characters for sure.
As far as LOTR characters I love Merry and Pippin personally, they're the perfect comic relief characters imo

Favorite character is Sam Wise (Confession, my English major wife did her honors thesis on Tolkien) - I believe Sam Wise is actually the embodiment of JRR Tolkien. Don't want to bore anyone with why. :)
Powerful attraction is better served in gambit imo as it can also be used to pick up motes not just orbs of power very useful if you have bounties or triumphs that force you to pick up motes but you struggle bc your teammates steal them
Legolas because his back and forth with Gimli (especially in the Two Towers) is goated.
Gimli is my favorite character for sure. Love his jokes he makes during the journey and how hes always ready to fight something or someone
My favorite LOTR character is Merry... he is somehow sane and fully put together while having to deal with Pippin. And he's the perfect balance of immature and mature. He works well with his brother.

the melee mod specific makes sense since hunter's solar kit basically makes recurring melee charges a core feature with radiant/kill recharge loop. Easy way to build up a super. get ability kills for grenade recharge, ect.

Firesprites give Grenade/Ability Enegry, Dragons Breath causes a bunch of ignition and gets a bunch of firesprites for restoration, ability charge, and armor charge so yes Dragon Breath catalyst is really important and Ember of Mercy is good survivability
I have a solar hunter build that I think would work well because it generates infinite ignitions. Fragments are torches, eruption,empyrean and blistering. Aspects are knock em down and gunpowder gamble, with healing grenade, weighted throwing knife, gamblers dodge and ophidia spathe. Dragons breath is recommended. You make the mod setup, but use s23 solar mods.
I love Frodo because he shows us that no matter how hard the task is. We should see it through with our friends and family supporting us.
Favourite LOTR character. I actually really like Bilbo Baggins when he's involved, obviously he's the main event of The Hobbit but his jealousy & pride towards Frodo was always a bit iffy haha.
As for someone featured a bit more heavily. Gimley 100% Dude has a gigantic ginger beard, small mans syndrome to the absolute max & a pretty beasty Battle Axe!
Favorite LOTR character is Samwise Gamgee. He was a real friend. Called Frodo on his BS when he was starting to fall into the influence. Real friend.
Gimli defintiely remained the favourite of mine for the entire LOTR series. He may have seemed like comedic relief, but he was the bright spots in my viewing as my family binged the entire series. DWARVES FOREVER!
That ember of mercy I like to combine with another fragment that helps you generate firesprites and also melee energy (forget the name). I'm not a hunter main and I use the aspect that gives you 3 fragment slots plus the 2 for the other with 5 total it's a build I utilize as a nighthawk hunter to help me stay alive and it works great with healing grenade as well bc firesprites when picked up give you grenade energy it's a build that essentially keeps me alive until I need my golden gun
I just can't beleive you ran that faster than every run I've ever done, with no resist mods. I get 1 shot by a psion scratching his arse and that's with em on.
Smeagul is my favorite character. Andy Serkis is incredible and I don't believe the films would have been anywhere close to what they are without his performance.

I too love all of the Lord of the Rings movies along with the Hobbit. Favorite character is my precious Gollum..definitely at some point of my life is to read the books.
Easily witch king of Angmar, between the mystery of his history and his powers and abilities to rival the maiar such as Gandalf and sauron even though he was once just a mortal is interesting and frustrating as his history has never been fleshed out by tolkien, Essentially all we know was he was a black numenorian(meaning he was of the kings men's and openly defied the Valar or the gods of Middle earth) he was a powerful sorcerer in life but once corrupted by one of the 7 rings of power given to men saurons evil and influence magnified his power and through time he could have rivaled souron but due to the power the one ring had over the lesser rings was a slave to one rings will regardless of saurons possession if it
Healing could conceivably be done with a solar weapon that had incandescent and heal clip if you can get it. I think there was one during the festival of the lost?
I've been using this with weighted knife instead since scorching targets is so easy and it gives me access to more ignitions

Gandolf has got to be my favorite, reliable, wise, badass warrior.
Sméagol is the best hands down. His just a little evil gobbligoo. A little menace. A gremlin.
fav. lotr charachter: if we're talking about books and movies I'd say Glorfindel (the only presence of this guy scares off the 9 Nazguls and he was so badass that he's been resurrected) ... if we're talking only about the movies I'd say Aragorn... seems a cheap choice but he embodies the true fantasy hero, he's selfless to the bone and he gives everything he has in every step of the journey.
On a note: I just got through watching another content creator compare two builds submitted by viewers. (Not here to bash, here to make an observation) The idea is some sort of "battle" between the two builds as to which one is better, and the viewers vote; the content creator uses the build in high level content (this one was in a team). If a winner is picked, they receive a lot of silver. If a loser is picked...they are banned from the chat! The video I watched had neither build-submitter picked because viewers deemed neither build was good, so BOTH viewers were banned from the chat! It was surreal, and I felt like I was at the Colosseum watching the crowds cheering the Emperor to give the thumbs up or thumbs down. I'll stick to watching comparative builds here, thank you very much.
Shadowfax. Because without that beautiful majestic horse, Riders Of Rohan wouldn't have made it on the grand finale battlefield.

I used to have the previoud build you made with YAS, and I absolutely loved it. But after an update last year, it didn't work like it used to (so I scraped it.) Looks like I'll be reviving that build cuz I loved the ability spamming of this build.

I love Dragon's Breath as much as anyone but I wonder if freeing up mod slots around melee regen and just running Monte Carlo with Apex predator would be better?
Was looking for this I know I’m late asf but I literally have a build that suprisingly has almost quad 100 on res, recov, intel, and discipline😂, didn’t even notice till I switched to this exotic
I dont know anything about wanting to win but ruinous effigy and gyrfalcon's is funny since volatile works on the balls

Either Samwise or Faramir. Both were strong enough to resist the temptation of the ring.
There was also Bilbo who was able to resist 60 years worth of the rings corruption
I threw on YAS with GPG last night and had an absolute blast. Was really really fun just hurling grenades all over the place.
Edit: Gimli is the best character in LoTR and arguably the only person who actively tried to destroy the ring.
You mentioned, especially in the second half of the video how much you can spam dragons breath, with the changes you made. You were using it on so many ads. If you would have had the catalyst, I think keeping that aspect on would have been the right choice.
Use a heal clip gun for healing, the heliocentric with HC and incandescent is amazing
Frodo ist my favorite because he's such a dichotomy of depressed and carefree in the beginning.
I dont think ashes acutally makes a difference with regards to how many abilities will create an ignition. itll be 1 knife and 1 tripmine either way.
Searing would allow ability kills to create firesprites (for more grenade energy, restoration and possibly elemental charge).
Alternatively, Resolve instead of Mercy would allow grenade kills to grant cure. The firesprites are still great for grenade energy.
