So we're punishing the children that were supposed to receive these clothes because some minimum wage retail workers told you to PICK UP after yourself? 🤦♀️ Sir. Walmart is not your mother's house, and you are too old for her to be cleaning behind you anyhow 😒
i think he is punishing the viewers for talking shit to him...he already has a ton of stuff he is giving away...and this particular haul was returned on live as well...that is shady. Walmart you should charge restocking fees on this bull shit to try to avoid people making carts of stuff for content.
I don’t think his intentions were ever to give that to the kids, he is such a coward and so disgusting to want praise instead of doing it because of good intentions
Even if he was returning all the stuff because he was getting negative comments… that just proves he never cared about giving back to his community at all. He only cared about getting praise.
Anybody doing this is doing it for Internet fame. Does it even matter though? More people are being helped regardless, and people seeing these videos are more encouraged to do the same. All the negatively lately makes nobody want to help out.
I get what you mean but, in his defense, they were also apparently telling him that he was "probably going to take it to Mexico and resell it" which is pretty messed up to say and kind of racist 😭
@@k4t.flwrs.yeah but that doesn’t matter. Because people on the internet say he’s going to do or not going to do something that means he is now not going to help the people who needed clothes? That’s backwards and dumb makes no common sense. Is it wrong for people to say that kinda stuff and assume? yeah it is but that’s doesn’t mean you take that blessing away from the people in need cause people on the internet saying negative stuff that might be false. You get it ? This is the internet someone somewhere will always have some negative stuff to say if every philanthropist decided not to donate money or Time because of negative stuff that other people say then we’d never have any philantrophy work get done ever. The fact he returned this stuff just shows it’s a possibility he only does this for clout and not out of the goodness of his heart and what a coincidence that in this video he even says “ because people are always saying I don’t buy the stuff I show this time ima show myself buying it”. Only for him to return it 2 days later cause “ of what people on the internet said and what Walmart workers said” lmaooo that’s crazy.
So he’s not gonna do nice things for those in need anymore because strangers online were rude to him?? That’s just ridiculous and proves that he only wanted to do something nice for the validation online
@@IAMApanloverif youre more concerned about getting bullied for helping people, than you never care to help in the first place. it also depends by what kind of help, because things are expensive ash and lots of people can barely help themselves
@@carnival_klownz You are right, I only care about strangers soooo much. If I use MY time and MY money to help, I expect respect. If I'm not given that respect then sorry, you can figure out your own life
So if we are to believe his version of the story.... he was going to be nice to people in need in the community, but because of what STRANGERS on the internet said to him, those people who are still in need, are no longer deserving of his kindness? even tho they werent involved in the mean comments people were making? I feel like that's even worse. This guy is pathetic and deserves all the backlash hes getting.
I knew from the beginning he was just going to return everything.... People who make videos showing everyone how kind they are and what they do for the community are only doing it for the praise. Most of the shit they show is totally fake, and now this guy just proved that they're all fake...
He said he was also being attacked by walmart employees maybe he no longer wanted to give walmart his money... he can buy clothes from somewhere else he seems to pack his storage with items and let people go threw them... he just returned the things to walmart. I don't think it's bad he didn't want to give his money to a corporation that was treating him badly. He does this often there are other places he can pick up children's clothes and those stores probably don't have employees attacking him on social media.
@@BeccaHetrickI absolutely agree. I HATE seeing videos where people are “being kind” to others because 90% of them are fake as hell. People that do charity work, don’t film it for internet views, they do it behind the scenes because helping people is all they want to do. They don’t want praise from internet strangers, they want the knowledge of knowing they helped people in need
I feel like the Turtle guy wasn't counting on the victim to know who he was and that she called him out faster then he could get his prank video out. Good on her for beating him to the punchline and calling him out for the turd he actually is.
@aishadelva1623 This happened around Christmas, the items had to be sorted out as to which ones she was going to keep. Resources had to be pulled from other departments/registers to help figure out her situation, I'm sure a line was building up behind her as the cashier scanned the items and all those customers had to go the backs of other lines, and the employees had to spend their time putting $700 worth of items back in their departments and shelves. For a prank - it took a lot of time, resources, patience, money, and humility to undo the damage- so if you feel it ain't "all that" then your empathy might be broken....?
@@apriltaurean3668lol I think I’m going to start using the line your empathy mite be broken!! I like that one!! Seems like a lot of people’s are nowadays smh!!
Yep. My dad donates 10,000 dollars every year to our community food bank, and other than me bragging about it to strangers online (because my dad is awesome and I want to brag to someone!), hardly anyone knows about it. Those who help others with pure motives don't make it all about themselves.
The only time i dont is when its a charity live stream because you can actively watch what they are doing and it gets others to join in. Thats the only acceptable way to do it.
I’m sorry, sooo he bought a bunch of clothes to give to people but because he got some hate he decided to take it out on the families by returning the clothes?? This makes zero sense, you can still give out the clothes, no? What do hate comments have to do with helping struggling families??
He wanted clout not to help. He thought doing this would boost his image and make him popular but people are aware of these tactics and now are calling out bad behavior (like leaving a mess behind for others to pick up) because they know it's all performative. If you have to get praise for doing good you aren't a good person. Good people do good because it genuinely makes them feel happy to help others.
It’s so sad that people can do these things and have no remorse. You cause more work for others because your video didn’t go how you wanted…I mean, he was probably never going to go through with actually giving the items to the people that need them, it was for views. The worst part about this is his excuse is “you guys didn’t praise me for doing something SO generous, so f the people in need! I never cared about them anyway!
If he REALLY wanted to give the audience a guilt trip, he would have made a second video recording himself giving all of the clothes away to the needy children he originally claimed they were for. This guys a terrible liar. Very pathetic.
So was he donating for applause and accolades and mad because he got accusation and condemnation? So, instead of being secure in who he is and his intent and just going ahead and follow through anonymously, he returns it all. THAT is not giving with a generous heart, HE was doing it for reward and that’s gross.
I said from the beginning that he was just going to go right back and return all that stuff. You're exactly right. People who make videos of themselves doing good deeds are NOT good people...
And that's the MOST generous interpretation that assumes he didn't intend to return the items from the start...so gross to pretend to be a kind person and punish children because (in his opinion) people weren't nice enough 😡
@BeccaHetrick 🎯 you are right. If you are going to give from the heart then nothing will stop you. Everyone that posts videos of themselves giving to the needy has already received their reward... looking at you lawn care people as well.👀
His explanation just further proves what a horrible person this dude is. Let's be serious this guy never planned on donating these items. He did it all to make a viral video and he got caught. Now we all know how pathetic he is!
It should be considered fraud by deception. Even more so if he's asking for donations..at the very least if his channel is monetised. Personally I think they should be free game if they are intentionally harassing people for pranks.
@@Mike-y3e9w - a lot of the “pranks” are honestly just assault/battery in disguise, fraud, or criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct - but bumping it up to a felony MIGHT stop some of the BS (maybe)

He punished kids in need because he didn’t like the way his viewers treated him. This simply proves he was in it for views, money, and attention not to help people. It is performative philanthropy.
This exactly! This is absolutely appalling! When you want to help, don't film it and try to get attention. I've helped a lot of people, but don't film it or advertise it to anyone.. I hate being in the spotlight..
Ever since TikTok got popular people in retail suffer even more than ever. Customers running around acting a fool or calling all the time for viral items and yelling at us if we don’t have them 😒
Exactly, we don't care how much you buy, cause please buy everything if you can. We care if you come in, act a fool, and then make a mess for us to clean up. Cause you're telling me I have to be decent and cordial while you can't do the same, we're gonna crash out soon.
I used to work at Target and some guy came in to film a TikTok about Prime. He pulled all of the bottles from the shelves into his cart and then left them there once he was done 😂. I wish I could have remembered his username.
Spanish speaking here but story makes no sense! He says that he made the video to donate and hand this out to people in need. Then he got hate in his video from people saying he is faking it causing issues and a mess for walmart workers. So he said fine i will return it all back and if you guys want to help go and buy them. Like make that make sense if it were me i would still hand it to those who need it and the hell with people who dont believe me
If he REALLY wanted to give the audience a guilt trip, he would have made a second video recording himself giving all of the clothes away to the needy children he originally claimed they were for. This guy is a terrible liar. Very pathetic.
Golden rule, if you screaming from top roof "LOOK im doing something good" expecting praise for giving/donating you're NOT doing a good deed!! I've been helping donating being involved with my local hospice for years (I'm a nurse) I never expect praise for it.
As someone who has Spanish as their primary language, the translations are off sometimes (i.e., pagar means pay, not turn off in this context) but it's understandable enough to get the point across.
Yep. This has happened before. I remember the dad and son who got pranked by a TikTok gang in the same way. I think they skedaddled before they even got in line that time.
I already don’t like going out in public and interacting with people. If someone comes up to me with cameras, I am not going to be a pleasant person. I really don’t care what their intentions are. This whole filming the public thing is out of control.
My fear is that video they’re filming of you goes viral and is edited completely out of context to make you look like the bad guy……I saw two guys filming themselves bothering target employees. I wanted to intervene, but I’m not trying to get internet famous, have my employer recognize me, and then get fired over it.
@ there should be laws protecting people against , especially employees. I couldn’t care less what people think of me however I left a DV situation and I had to move to another state. I would be devastated if I showed up on a viral video while I’m grocery shopping giving away my location. I’d like to think if I explained that then I would have some understanding but with the lack of empathy and people pushing for a reaction, it makes me nervous. So many people suffer from mental health issues as it especially with anxiety. We shouldn’t have to worry about the possibility of being filmed and exposed on the internet.
That's the sad part, there's a significant percentage of people that would say if you have a problem with it then you should order online, work from home and not go out in public if you're so scared. The selfishness and lack of empathy is gross. @@LillySavia
@@that.ll_do_pig I believe it. That’s why I think there is such an increase with mental health issues. There’s already fear instilled in people because of all the crimes being committed at schools, parades, stores and anywhere with people pretty much. I know people don’t like fake content or whatever but there has to be a way to get permission beforehand or something. I mean you are people filming others in the bathroom, changing rooms or gyms. It has never gone through my mind ever to take my phone out and film someone in such a way. I just feel like everyday we see people lose more and more respect for each other.
His answer doesnt make any sense. If he was doing that out of generosity, and for his community, why wld he punish them by returning the articles bc , boohoo, he ddnt like the way he was treated??!! What s the logic ? Did i miss something or did he just proved everybody he was indeed a scummy scamer? Plus a good deed shld never be broadcasted and advertised. It taints the whole thing . It s like those religious ppl screaming that they re "on the side of god" hence it gives em the right to judge everybody and basically be a trashy human. Same thing.
A truly good person does not need to advertise that they are good. And he definitely doesn’t make himself look good by returning everything just bc he didn’t get the clout he wanted. 😂
my first thought about the walmart story; what a weird way to go about giving clothes to people in need. weird that he filled the buggies like that, weird that until then he had never shown ringing them up... weird that he returned it iall
all of them are copying Mr. Beast’s recipe: excitedly filming huge amounts of things “given” to random people in need with the intention of profit over philanthropy. if they weren’t piled up into one cart, the effect wouldn’t be the same. it sucks how many people are inconvenienced by these things, even if he didn’t return it all.
We're going to be seeing more of this. They give to charity, not because it's a good thing to do, but because it feeds their ego. Then they can show off and say "See! Look what a good person I am!" Narcissist.
I only know Spanish from watching tv ( I'm Australian) and from hearing my old neighbours yelling at their kids. But I got the jist of what he was saying, even without the subtitles.
So because people started hating on him 115 people in need are without new clothes? No, that’s pride right there and it’s a personal choice he made all on his own. He could have just given the items anyway and not paid any mind to what they said. If you know in your heart you’re doing something good, then do it.
@@sterlingstarz nah because apparently he did go live twice when returning everything & that was before the walmart employee posted their video. I don’t know if anyone verified that he actually went live, but it’s strange if that’s true. maybe he had one or two haters and wanted an excuse to blame others for why he didn’t really buy everything.
Spanish is my native language so listening to this dude video on why he returned the clothing is so annoying because he essentially is only helping people out when he gets online praises and compliments for his “good deed” but suddenly when he gets negative criticism he takes it all back from the ACTUAL people that needed it and says it’s all about “respect” and that he’ll essentially won’t give help UNLESS you only talk good about him. And I bet that none of those negative comments were from the people he was about to help. He’s punishing the WRONG people in this situation. This is definitely about his ego and pride and how he’s perceived in his community because no actual GOOD person would take back all donations because of random online comments. Also his last comment to the Walmart employee about “don’t make opinions of things you don’t know” but her opinion IS CORRECT! He might not know what she said yet but once he does he’ll see that she didn’t say anything that he hasn’t confirmed himself. Yes he took the clothing back, yes he had someone else do it, and YES it IS upsetting seeing so much clothing retuned when you KNOW it was supposed to go help families in need. This is all stuff he said he did do! And she has every right to be AT LEAST disappointed or upset because we know that not everyday someone is willing to buy carts full of clothes for families in need.
I feel like if he was really going to give those clothes to people in need, he would have ignored the ‘hate comments’ to prove them wrong. Which I don’t believe he was really going to give those clothes to anyone in the first place.
Spanish is my 3rd language and I somehow listened without looking at the caption. (Im still amazed how my brain switches languages) This man is doing it all for applause. Because if it was to actually help others it wouldn't matter if someone said something mean to you online.
It’s so funny how Markie makes sure he’s coming at topics with the most even-handed perspective, then proceeds to tell me about Jim the baby eater who eats babies.
Not finished with the video yet, but tiktoks of people doing charitable things never sat right with me. I feel like, even if he genuinely bought the clothes for his community, why return them? If serving your community means so much, then just give them the stuff you bought.
I feel like if he is going to be generous for clout, he could have just recorded himself giving the clothes away and been like, "Shame on you, internet trolls!"
Random tea for anyone interested: the movie industry regularly buys items and uses them as props or set dressing and then returns them. This happens on major Hollywood and Netflix productions. This is because of the way the budgets are set up, there is an incentive to save money and you can even pocket the difference sometimes and its like a massive thing that happens that is totally unreported.
Usually when that happens, there is an account made at the store and an agreement put in place ahead of time. I used to work for a large furniture/electronics/decor store and we did this. Also, interior designers do this as well when hired to "stage" a home that is for sale. The store selling the items and the company using them usually have an agreement in place where it is understood that the company will be using the items in a short term basis. There are timelines involved and fees paid to store for this agreement. There are also stipulations as far as condition of returned items and costs associated with damage etc. You can't just come in and buy a ton of stuff and then return it all a month later. Maybe you or I could get away with doing so if it was just a few small ticket items but thats not going to fly with items such as furniture or large amounts of home goods or decor, etc.
@@pocketlinttreasures33 Netflix does it for sure. I can't say for like the Marvel movies... You are right about furniture and some of that can come from prop houses too. The big thing that I'm thinking of is bedding.. that can cost $100s of dollars and they just buy it and return it, they are so bad!
And??!! The movie industry isn’t filming themselves doing it on TikTok live and claiming to be doing it for their “community” 🤷🏼♀️🙄🤦♀️🤡 they don’t come in to Walmart and trash the store either 🥴 dude was just doing it for clout and was eventually planning on asking for “donations” from his viewers via live gifts…money which wld have never been spent on actual charity but instead wld have been put into his wallet and sent to his family in Mexico…let’s be 💯 how about it??!! 😏🙄 there’s literal TONS of TikTok beggars that do that same ish fr fr they go on live pretending to be doing charity work and then eventually it leads up to their follower base throwing live gifts at them, hand over fist…filling their pockets while they pretend to be doing charity work smh 🤦♀️ EVIL azz ppl fr fr ik allot of ppl will be offended by the TRUTH I’m bout to say but idgaf tbh 🤷🏼♀️ but that’s how Mr. Beast got famous…he started off by pretending to do charity work on camera and then that eventually led to a HUGE follower base whom he sold his 💩Ty products to. Ppl like to pretend like Mr.Beast is some sort of holier than thou, feed the hungry, house the homeless, feed the children patriarch 🥴 but that’s just delusional dramatization believed by his extremely susceptible prepubescent fanboys. 💯
"I'm being treated horribly by the workers/online haters, so I'm not gonna buy and donate anymore. Take that innocent children!" ...that guy in a nutshell
So let me get this straight… He’s saying that he returned the items he purchased for needy people in his community because his ego got hurt? That right there tells you that he was doing this for the wrong reason in the first place. His logic makes no sense whatsoever. So, because he got his feelings hurt by a bunch of people online, he decided that he would no longer help the struggling families in his own community? 🤔 That will teach the trolls online. He really did something there… 🙄
As a Walmart Apparel employee, we do actually get people in that buy a bunch of $1 things to give to our community, and thats incredibly sweet! But there are also people like this, idk why they would do it, not when theres other things to be doing
You don't even need to give much. He could have donated like, at least 5 different outfits and still would have gotten praise because he was helping folks. You don't need to be crazy about it. Sometimes, you also get very good finds for cheap, and you gotta snag them before they start trending (like slime and fidget spinners!)
@goingferalluvs absolutely! There's people who buy up "penny items" at dollar stores to give them to schools, I even saw a video of a guy that found out a store was throwing out thousands of of supplies and toys, and rerouted them to schools rather than letting them be thrown away. And like you also said, even if it were a couple of things instead of a whole buggy, anything and everything counts when it's going to someone in need, and it's despicable to play off the hearts and minds of those who aren't nearly as fortunate. I hope he gets what's coming to him and whoever helped him do this, but not any innocent bystanders to his shenanigans (I don't want to wish anything negative on his kids or something because he's a douche). It seems like almost any "charity" videos where they're in-store and nothing else are bs, and its sad that we have to be skeptical of CHARITY VIDEOS of ALL possible things
they do it because their yt, tiktoks etc are monetized. these scum are making money from their fake charity vids while dumping extra work on store employees.
I think, sadly, that he's a narcissist. This is classic narc behaviour. Trying to get attention and present a great image, get adoration but when people push back, he freaks out and has a childish tantrum, showing that it was always about him needing attention and not the people in need. Sad. But there we are.
Translation was spot on. He was saying that items were returned because people told him that they cause Walmart workers told him that they claim he’s a reseller. So he said he returned them so he would see if anyone would come back to the store and buy it for the community. Actually makes no sense at all. Lady wasn’t wrong. He returned the clothes without giving it out to the families. He stated at the end, translate this so the lady isn’t starting drama. She didn’t she was right.
Something similar to the second story happened once- these guys, RUclipsrs I think, pulled a similar stunt on a disabled kid ("fill the cart in 1 minute and we'll pay for it!") then ran off and called it a "prank". Kid was obviously confused and devastated. It was posted online and everything. As for whether or not CertifiedTurtle and his goon squad did this as a "prank", I couldn't tell you.
I was thinking of that as I watched! Yeah it was the same setup, except those worms ran immediately after the boy and his dad had filled the cart, not after letting all the stuff get checked out. Good news for the kid though, the community heard about what happened and a lot of people chipped in to send him on a shopping spree. And you know the internet dragged that pathetic excuse of a man through the mud for what he and his pals did to that little boy, as they should. They got off easy, in my opinion, but I'm glad the boy has a supportive community around him.
I'm disabled and I had people approach me with cameras wanting to "help" and they get really pissy when you say no. Folks without cameras don't. WE all know why that is. I hate people that do that crap.
that first guy really rubs me the wrong way. so he was going to do something nice, filmed it, and because the tiktok didnt get the reaction he wanted he returned the items and gave a worker tons of work to do (as someone who used to work in an apparel area i can say that stuff like that can take all day and it'll usually just be 1 person handling it.) AND took away the opportunity for children to get the clothes they need. in what universe does that make sense? why is children getting essentials dependent on how your audience reacts to you buying the items? that screams "i was only doing this because i want followers".
I’m tired of these so called “good samaritans” who do “selfless acts of kindness” only when the cameras are rolling.. imo that just proves it’s not from the heart.. the world doesn’t need to know that you helped someone, only you and that person/people you’re helping should know.. God blesses you when it’s genuine.. just saying..
Exposing both of these crappy people. They need to be called out, especially for doing this shit during the holidays when as the one girl very aptly pointed out these retail workers are overworked and underpaid
😂😂 he was always going to return them😂😂 he just using it as a convenient excuse. Nobody, in their right mind and honesty doing something for charity, would return all these clothes because of a couple of retail employees commenting on his vid😂😂 what a bone head. The guys clearly a grifter. Likely doesn't even have a legitimate job. Just grifting on tt
i work at walmart at one time these middle school looking boys filled up two carts full of pads and cheez-itz and when they went to pay they said they only had one dollar. idk if they were filming or what but
he said "come with me to pay for it" instead of "turning it off 😅" but you explained it well so it's fine. also he said that he does pay at the end (liar)
I’m so confused? So bc someone was rude to him, and needed to learn “respect” he returned the clothes?? Why not just go live giving the clothing away, as he was supposed to do? 😢
So because he didn’t get the praise he wanted in the comments he is punishing the kids in need by returning the items?? Wow. Didn’t know his kindness was based on getting a big pat on the back. He just showed he did it for clicks and praise.
Bilingual from birth, the captions are close enough that it works, but also I'm always gonna be sad from people who get things to give out for holidays but return it
Callum, you might not always know what you're talking about something, but you're still the only drama channel for me! ❤ you never judge, and you're always respectful with information, I really appreciate that! It's such a breath of fresh online :)
So because the first dude got butt hurt that people where calling him out he returned everything so that people in need, who had nothing to do with the situation, won’t get items they are desperately in need of. 💭 WTF? I mean here’s an idea, don’t film yourself “doing good deeds”, just do the good deeds.
6:48 u said mean things abt me online therefore those ppl i promised to help don’t get the clothes? how are u gunna “prove the haters wrong” doing that? the best way would be by doing the nice thing. and instead he thinks the best solution is to punish the ppl ur buying for by returning the items? i fear that’s a cover up, not a decent explanation. the ppl u were buying for never hurt u, so why promise all this to just to fall back? mans wanted a viral video. got what he wanted ig
This video isn't about stealing, but as someone who works at Target I can tell you almost every Target loses at least 1 million a year because of theft. And they make so much $, they only started to care about in the last couple of years. Mine has started using tags & putting things in locked boxes.
"I returned the clothes because you called me a reseller, so now nobody gets the clothes!" Okay, pal lmao. What a liar. Chasing clout always comes off so gross, but to do it by pretending to be doing something so philanthropic is straight-up unclean.
Instead of doing a live showing him returning the clothes, why did this man not do a live actually donating them?? In what world would returning them make you look good?
Wow he is shallow, 8:30, what i do? I do because i care for the community” yet he got butt hurt cuz of comments n return the clothes. So no. You don’t care enough to give.
first guy: so he bought some clothing to donate, and people complained he made too much work for walmart staff who had to clean up after him, so he returned the items out of spite, depriving the recipients of the gift but also, ultimately, MADE MORE WORK FOR THE WALMART STAFF who had to process the returns, and restock the items.
So because people were commenting on his video saying that he was just going to resell all of the clothing, he threw it all into boxes and returned it to Walmart so that the rest of us could go and buy these clothes for those people? He just made himself look even fucking worse. I don't think he comprehends how bad he looks by returning all of that clothing instead of just giving it to the people that he supposedly bought it for in the first place... He didn't have to do anything but continue doing what he claimed he was going to do in the first place. All he had to do was give the clothing to the people that he bought the clothing for... I don't understand why he returned it all AND didn't delete the video....
14:32 that poor camera guy had to apologize for them, alone. Wow. In most cases like that, if they pranked the wrong person, that camera guy would’ve ended up in the ER.😢
Strictly speaking on the reasoning that he is giving for returning, he just wanted to go viral....this is why I don't like ANY philanthropy that is filmed (by the person themselves, some exceptions do kinda apply) because that immediately says to everyone (whether true or not) that you TRULY care only about being seen, not about making a difference.
The captions are slightly off but give accurately the gist of the information, he was angry about accusations of being a reseller and making a mess in the store an getting hate specifically from Walmart employees or ex employees. And the clothes were for a Mexican and other countries called three king day which is the equivalent of Santa’s visit and were pijamas for little girls I guess those are the only differences in translation
Have you seen the "Rosca de Reyes" drama that every year happens at the Mexican Costcos? In Mexican culture we celebrate Three King's Day (Día de los Reyes Magos) on January 6th with Rosca de Reyes, which is a kind of sweet bread, and for the past years resellers have bought ridiculous amounts of "Roscas" to reseller. It's been known that these resellers later have to ask support from the community because they ended up not selling the "Roscas". People are tired of the resellers but this year a lady bought 800 "Roscas de Reyes" from Costco to resell from Guadalajara, Mexico to another county. You can only imagine the outrage from Costcos customers.
I wasn't looking at my screen so I don't know about the caps. But what you were explaining and interpreting from what he said was consistent with what he was saying in Spanish
I LIVE IN THE SAME CITY. This was posted to my communities Facebook page, Salem Oregon. Its really sad to see the workers have to go through that much effort for this.
Did she say she worked there? She doesn’t have a name tag or uniform on in the first video she says she saw the carts and asked if there was more clearance, which to me implied she was shopping
This guy claiming to be a community activist is a joke. Nothing he saying makes sense sounds like he was exposed and now he’s trying to lie his way out. If his intentions were real he would have followed through with his donation.
So, the one time he decides to make a video proving he actually buys the clothes, instead of just filling up carts and pretending he's going to buy them, he returns everything because "mean strangers online." No. His intentions the whole time were to return the clothes.
People will do anything to get likes. I knew when I saw this he was going to return it! I saw someone film themself taking Christmas tree wish lists off of Christmas trees for poor kids. After they filmed it, they put them back on the tree. Disgusting!
Ok so basic translation. He went live and got upset because people were saying he was not actually going to give them away. He was probably going to resell them in Mexico. So he said fine “ I’ll return it all and you ( speaking to the people on the Live) can go buy it and you do the good deed. Anyhow sooo yeah it looks like was not getting the praise he wanted, his ego was butt hurt and he returned it all
Nah, those translations were pretty spot on, the little mistakes don't change the meaning/context. He legit tried to justify returning the clothes to punish the hate commenters....except, that's not how that works. So, basically, he made the video for clout, returned everything, then tried to save face with a half-assed excuse.

Giving to those in need isnt about you. Who cares if trolls on the internet are being stupid. Its not the kids' fault who needed the clothes. Why punish them to "teach your online trolls a lesson!" ???? What??? It doesnt make sense. Its an excuse
His repsonse and excuse is absurd. So, you buy things to help people but return them because someone behind a keyboard made you mad and you threw a fit? Like what did those people and the people you were supposedly trying to help have in common?
Why do people put their every move on Social Media? When you give/help others/volunteer, it’s done so quietly and anonymously if possible. No grand standing rubbish!
I dont think ive ever been so early for a video! Even if i have no idea about the content, Markie's videos are always so well narrated and put together, I watch them all 😂❤
Lexi and the employee chose not to disclose the identity of the individual who came into the store, purchased various items of clothing, and then returned them without anyone questioning his actions. It’s interesting to note that if he had simply kept his thoughts to himself and refrained from making any remarks, there likely wouldn’t have been any problem at all. As many people have pointed out in discussions around this topic, if his true intention was to provide assistance to those children in need, it raises the question of why those kids are now facing negative repercussions as a result of his comments. His actions seem to contradict his supposed desire to help, leaving many to wonder about the true impact of his words on those who he claims to support.
Walmart you should charge restocking fees on this bull shit to try to avoid people making carts of stuff for content.
couldn't bite my tongue could I
I don’t think his intentions were ever to give that to the kids, he is such a coward and so disgusting to want praise instead of doing it because of good intentions
Ummm. There was never an intent to bless anyone. 🤦🏾♀️
Guess what made a hell of a lot more work for the workers??? 🙄🤦♀️
Even if he was returning all the stuff because he was getting negative comments… that just proves he never cared about giving back to his community at all. He only cared about getting praise.
In all fairness, when people upload videos of themselves “doing something nice,” they’re moray likely doing it for the praise. It’s sickening

When you’re doing it for the wrong reasons, I guess everything.

Exactly hes doing it for his viewers, not for the needy.

This was totally not his reason, some people are just attention-hungry monsters

I was thinking of that as I watched! Yeah it was the same setup, except those worms ran immediately after the boy and his dad had filled the cart, not after letting all the stuff get checked out.
Good news for the kid though, the community heard about what happened and a lot of people chipped in to send him on a shopping spree. that first guy really rubs me the wrong way. so he was going to do something nice, filmed it, and because the tiktok didnt get the reaction he wanted he returned the items and gave a worker tons of work to do (as someone who used to work in an apparel area i can say that stuff like that can take all day and it'll usually just be 1 person handling it.) AND took away the opportunity for children to get the clothes they need. in what universe does that make sense? why is children getting essentials dependent on how your audience reacts to you buying the items? that screams "i was only doing this because i want followers".
He wanted clicks and views!😮
I’m tired of these so called “good samaritans” who do “selfless acts of kindness” only when the cameras are rolling.. imo that just proves it’s not from the heart.. the world doesn’t need to know that you helped someone, only you and that person/people you’re helping should know.. God blesses you when it’s genuine.. just saying..
glad to see this. saw the vid exposing the first guy, and went to his page, his comments were off😐
Exposing both of these crappy people.
Just grifting on tt
i work at walmart at one time these middle school looking boys filled up two carts full of pads and cheez-itz and when they went to pay they said they only had one dollar. idk if they were filming or what but
and this is why I'm a semi strict parent.
he said "come with me to pay for it" instead of "turning it off 😅" but you explained it well so it's fine. also he said that he does pay at the end (liar)
Oh he did buy the clothing to begin with, he just went back like the next day and returned it all...
I’m so confused? So bc someone was rude to him, and needed to learn “respect” he returned the clothes?? Why not just go live giving the clothing away, as he was supposed to do? 😢
I think it's a coverup for being caught returning
It's a piss poor coverup
This video isn't about stealing, but as someone who works at Target I can tell you almost every Target loses at least 1 million a year because of theft. And they make so much $, they only started to care about in the last couple of years. Mine has started using tags & putting things in locked boxes.
Keeping it real Markie. I don't understand much about what we talk about on this channel either.
Dude... Spanish speaker here... It's ridiculously embarrassing 😳 ... listening.
Right he was being such a crybaby about it. I could almost here a small sad violin in the background.
“I do things from my heart” but the only people he’s hurting by returning them are the families that didn’t even have a part in this mess. 🙄
"I returned the clothes because you called me a reseller, so now nobody gets the clothes!"
Okay, pal lmao. What a liar. Chasing clout always comes off so gross, but to do it by pretending to be doing something so philanthropic is straight-up unclean.
People sure are comfortable misbehaving online and being shitty and fake for views when they very well know that they will eventually be found out.
Instead of doing a live showing him returning the clothes, why did this man not do a live actually donating them?? In what world would returning them make you look good?
I hate when people expect respect just because they’re doing something “nice”??? Like what?
The captions are a bit messed up, but they get across the gist of what he is saying.
He needs to be charged a restocking fee for returning all those clothes
14:32 that poor camera guy had to apologize for them, alone. Wow. In most cases like that, if they pranked the wrong person, that camera guy would’ve ended up in the ER.😢
Strictly speaking on the reasoning that he is giving for returning, he just wanted to go viral....this is why I don't like ANY philanthropy that is filmed (by the person themselves, some exceptions do kinda apply) because that immediately says to everyone (whether true or not) that you TRULY care only about being seen, not about making a difference.
"I had 3 mean comments on a one million view tok, so it's all you people fault the kids are going without now. I'm still a hero."
Good deeds should be done with intention, not FOR ATTENTION!!
Why would Costco let anyone buy their entire stock? That's on them. They should set a limit.
@gladitsnotme right? It's crazy
Gente naca
@@Zophizto 💯 !!! Yes
I wasn't looking at my screen so I don't know about the caps. But what you were explaining and interpreting from what he said was consistent with what he was saying in Spanish
if doing a good thing requires a camera to prove it, it's not a good thing.
I LIVE IN THE SAME CITY.
This was posted to my communities Facebook page, Salem Oregon.
Its really sad to see the workers have to go through that much effort for this.
Was this in North Salem Walmart?!
@ivythetwisted6908 either North or the one off Turner rd
Hello, i'm from argentina i speak spanish, the translation was rough but you explained it well so it's not necessary to correct. i will if you want
Did she say she worked there? She doesn’t have a name tag or uniform on in the first video she says she saw the carts and asked if there was more clearance, which to me implied she was shopping
Yeah, I don’t think she worked there. I think she was just another customer.
This guy claiming to be a community activist is a joke. Nothing he saying makes sense sounds like he was exposed and now he’s trying to lie his way out. If his intentions were real he would have followed through with his donation.
So, the one time he decides to make a video proving he actually buys the clothes, instead of just filling up carts and pretending he's going to buy them, he returns everything because "mean strangers online."
No. His intentions the whole time were to return the clothes.
17:45 I hate these videos "Look, I use these homeless people to show how generous I am!"
I think anybody that has time to go and mess with somebody's job like this should have to do that job for 3 months I bet they don't ever mess with somebody working again. Ugh I hate these trends 🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
Even if i have no idea about the content, Markie's videos are always so well narrated and put together, I watch them all 😂❤
If you are going to do a good deed why do you have to put it online? That's just stupid.
That last story sounds like something from a literal nightmare you'd wake up from.
