Love mine! Got one last year for 10 euro's. It was in a hardware store and pretty rootbound but already a meter high with 3 plants in the pot.
It has grown up to my ceiling and yesterday I cut it so it can become fuller over time. I completely ignore it. It gets water maybe once a month but I do dust of the leaves a lot.
I have this an it's slow growing have it in my home in coconut coir anvsoon gonna put a moss pole

Red Emerald was also my first philodendron! I started with just a single leaf prop and now she is 3 feet tall! How have you gotten its leaves so wide? Mine are long and narrow! I think I need to chop and prop her since she is so tall! But don’t want to cause it is one of my oldest plants!! Ty for all the knowledge!

Hey! I recently got a cutting of this plant as a gift and planted it w a moss pole. One of the new growths opened into a beautiful leaf, but the other is drying up! Does anyone know why? I’m thinking maybe I haven’t watered it enough (I now see the leaves are looking droopy) or maybe it has something to do w the pot size. Thanks in advance!
One question, after cutting is the new growth going back to juvenile form or it continues to grow according to the maturity of the plant?
What kind and size of pot do they enjoy?
