    Im one of the ppl that doesn't use dolomite :)
    I believe the reason people are choosing products like Oyster shell flour over dolomite is because you get the same "lime" (calcium) but way less magnesium.
    Obviously you grow killer weed and this recipe works for your situation. So I wouldn't change anything. Just thought I'd share about the dolomite.
    Can't wait to see this outdoor going.
    Peace brother.

I also picked up bio live from down to earth it's a 5-4-2 natural fertilizer derived from fish bone meal, fish meal, alfalfa meal, crab meal, shrimp meal, langbeinite and keep meal. it's like a 7 ingredient all in one box. I was wondering if you have tried it ?

    Good Amendments....Im assuming the idea is make up no till holes/beds/lines for the coming season(s) and thatz why you included a long term amendment like greensand..?

    • @MedicallyFit

      Chronikool Growz even reusing soil you should add some type of silica

    • @chronikoolgrowz5526

      Chronikool Growz that's why the earth worms as well as the bacteria and fungi will break it down

    • @chronikoolgrowz5526
      @chronikoolgrowz5526 7 лет назад

      Medically Fit So in your opinion... how long does this breaking down process take of the Greensand..? Ive read it takes 2 plus years to be bio availiable in a living organic system.

  • @Jstro14

    it's really irritating when ppl make a Supersoil but do not actually give you a list of the ingredients mostly the amounts if we're here watching it's mostly because well damn we want to copy it right?.. how much of each one to 4 bags of roots or a bale of promix or something. I do not usually complain on these vids because I really do appreciate the help the ppl give out and ur the 101 video of this week I've watched cause I'm looking for a good recipe to make with the down to earth amendments as I have a bunch left over from the batch I made last year unfortunately I've lost my list of the ingredients and am frustrated so sorry but for "peats sake" do please try to put a list in the description next time it would be highly appreciated atleast from me for sure and as I read through the comments I see MANY others looking for the same. .... yes pun intended

    first comment and view! so i have a couple questions. I have heard that synthetic nutrients can be harmful to microlife in your soil. is this true, and if so what specifically is harmful and why? can it be avoided? and my second question is can you please do a tricantinol tea and show us how?!?!?! thanks, love the videos!

    • @organicfanatic8563
      @organicfanatic8563 7 лет назад +2

      Kasey Owens synthetic fertilizers are salt based. Simply put, the salt will kill the microlife in the soil. No microlife=no nutrient cycling=starving plants because the plants require the microlife to breakdown the organic amendments.

    • @Agr414
      @Agr414 7 лет назад +2

      Kasey Owens the salts of the synthetic fertilizers can disrupt the osmoregulation of microbes found in the soil. They aren't able to regulate the osmotic pressure that is caused by the hypertonic environment created by the salts and their cell membranes may begin to shrink and become dehydrated to the point of death.

    • @kaseyowens3065
      @kaseyowens3065 7 лет назад

      Agr414 ok so it's somewhat similar to the push/pull of sodium and potassium balance in the human body? too much of a pull from the salts leeching moisture=no microlife. ok, that makes sense.
