seeing highlight reels on social media and then comparing that to your own life its easy to slip into spending more than we earn especially with credit cards that let us over spend. subbing for more!
Hi @AceHunley, Thanks for watching the video, and sorry for the late reply! We had a huge windstorm here in the Seattle area that knocked out power for a few days-what a mess! I hear you on social media. It’s so easy to get caught up in those highlight reels and start comparing. Back when I was putting myself through school at the University of Minnesota, I got my first credit card. At first, I used it for necessities, but it’s crazy how quickly you can slip into the “I’ll pay it off later when I get a job” mindset. One spend leads to another, and before you know it, you’re in deep. These days, I still use credit cards, but I make sure to pay them off during the grace period-and hey, the rewards don’t hurt either. Lesson definitely learned! Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and for subscribing-it really means a lot! Let’s keep chatting about these real-life struggles.
@ glad you made it through that windstorm alive. That sucks that ya lost power for so long. Thanks for sharing your college experience with lifestyle inflation. Yes let’s keep this going. I post videos on finances as well. Trying to grow my channel!
@AceHunley, I actually checked out your channel, and I found it pretty interesting-so I went ahead and subscribed! Keep up the great work with the finance content.
