i think the bigger the disk, the longer it takes
ngl, it works on me tho
i tried to format 472gb external hdd, takes a bit longer
i think its 1 percent per 2 minutes

Eyy it worked tysm.People be patient and follow instructions strictly it worked.Like magic 29 gb came back to me.(If u have problems in slow progress it might be ur usb or hard drive is too big like 32 gb up so it might be a factor tho

I select the disk an partition, I can see the star next to the disk when I type in list disk which indicates the disk is selected, but when I try to format it still says "There is no volume selected. Please select a volume and try again."
It's an SD card that was used in a CCTV camera, so I suspect it's reached its write limit and it's now dead... in the bin it goes! I appreciate your video though :)
