It's been about a month since the release of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and I've been dailying it for a while now. The Flip 5 is my first Flip style foldable, so in this video, I review the Flip 5 from that perspective. Hope you enjoy !

I got it as a second phone and I love it so far. I used to use flip phones pre-android era so it’s the nostalgia for me. I agree with all your points in this video!

its a really good review! the one thing i didn't really understand is your opinion of it being a secondary device. its a 1000$ phone. i plan on getting the flip later this year, i know the downsides to it as you mentioned and i know that there is no problem for my use case. i´ve waited very long for a good small form factor phone and the flips before didn't really tickle my box (and i don't want an iPhone mini). with the new front display and it being the 5th gen (established quality) i don't see why i would need anything else. also i use Samsung phones since the galaxy S3, so I am happy to stay in the eco system and i don't need to compromise there.
I totally understand your point. The battery life for me wouldn’t be enough if I used it as my main phone but would serve very well as a second phone.
But I also understand that a secondary phone shouldn’t cost $1000 😅

wife has both the flip 5 and the moto razr 40, she prefers the razr as the whole screen outside is larger and more usefull , but with a few tweaks from goodlock it comes closer to the razr

I want the z flip 5 as my main phone as I'm over the biggest heavy phones I want something simple I'm home most of the day so the battery doesn't bother me.
Snap 8 Gen 2 doesn't fits the 3600 battery... price eather.

It's awesome but has a poor battery life
My battery life is similar to other phones I have owned. I use the outer display about 60% of the time, which helps.
There are lot of issues with folds and flips. As a Flip4 user, within less than a year (very little use) my phone shuts down when flip is closed. Tried everything, now its going for repair. Another common issue is the discoloured line on its display. Resist and don't buy these pretty looking phones :(
Sad. I think it'll take some more time for them to get as durable as normal candybar phones.
I think foldables are super cool but I don't know if I'd use the features they offer enough to justify the price. Someday I definitely want to try one though!
